It's so nice to have my open wheel cars actually feel fast for once, and actually need their brakes. Gotta love how the best things R* does they do by accident.
They can't make cars faster, look at the horrible loading at those speeds..😂

edit; I still play old version, the powersurge motorcycle is so fast it glitches the loading, Ive had game crashes mid missions because of how fast I was going...

@@RSAgility Here I had freezes and sometimes the textures fails to load properly, but never any hard crash even on full sessions.
Maybe it's because my PS4 Slim has a internal SSD instead of the original HDD, but it's not really that bad.
The reality is that with pretty much any maxed out car or bike we are going at speeds over 300 mph, not a single PS4 game is gonna render a city at those speeds.

Yea, sometimes ur just froze and can't hit any buttons and u have to restart. U can hit the Xbox button and have all controls on home screen but the game just doesn't respond. Happens about once every 10 sessions or so

It works with the zancudo hangars as well I just did it with the big one
Its because when you exit the hangar in an aircraft you get a massive speedbost for a while, probably to make entering the hangar and going for your aircraft more worth it than just calling it from the menu.
It just works for cars too for some reason

@@andrewmartin4387 No, its not. Its linked to the car itself (personal vehicle), not the player. It has the same effect of the Chaos Mod effect of 10x engine speed. (which also happens to make any car viable for vanilla drifts)
The aircraft speed boost is easy to miss with most planes, but with the cars you can see it much easier. I’m going to try this later.
You ask yourself how does this glitch happens well the game thinks you left your hanger with a vehicle which causes the wheels getting pulled up just like in helicopters and airplanes (landing gear) because all vehicles are same coded.

This glitch has been around for ages as a speed glitch for aircraft. When you join online in a fresh lobby and spawn in your hanger, the first aircraft you leave with will have a boosted top speed. Had no idea it could be transferred to cars though
I remember someone talking about this probably years ago but forgot about it. I suppose someone just figured out it can be applied to cars too
That first time bonus for aircraft isn’t a glitch, it’s intended behaviour. But being transferred to any land vehicle is of course not intended.
@@aiden_heafield5892 not sure if it's an intended bonus. I assumed it was a leftover feature of the sell missions with aircraft to avoid you flying a stock vehicle. Assuming again it was broken, and many things in gta are
@Haueru86 it's been a thing since day one of Smugglers Run. Also, the hangar sale vehicle speeds are actually nerfed, not buffed. Such as the Alpha Z1 which has the same top speed as the Hydra in freemode, in the sales it's capped at 110kts, far below that.
The hangar first spawn has a different buff for each aircraft and it isn't default top speed based, for example the Raiju and Seabreeze are the fastest with first spawn. That's just how it works. I also doubt they'd leave first spawn in for 7 years now seeing how useful it is and is coded for new aircraft like the Raiju.
@@aiden_heafield5892 I dont know what kts is but I still believe it's a coding mistake. Why would such a buff exist and why would it only apply once per play session? And why only buff air resistance at high altitudes?
Alright, to answer all the questions
As far as I’ve been able to tell it’s permanent, you can get into and out of your car and other vehicles as much as you want and it won’t go away. Only respawning the vehicle either by returning it, entering a property with it or re-requesting it will the glitch be lost.
It technically works on aircraft, hanger spawned aircraft are intrinsically faster (presumably this is what’s happening, the multiplier given to hanger spawned aircraft is being applied to your car). If you have an interaction spawn aircraft it’ll apply the buff but it won’t have any affect on hanger spawn aircraft. The engines will be running but the time spent waiting for your character to saunter over and get in will lose that extra time. You won’t even be able to enter helis till the engine stops.
But it keeps even if we turn off and enter another day? I did to the bounty van.
But you can repair it and the effect will remain which is nice
The hour of fun I had with this in the ramp buggy was great, there’s god mode glitches that still work and yet rockstar choose to patch something as harmless as this lol

Anything above 200mph will outrun a missile, so it's pretty much any maxed out car with performance upgrades.
A Nightshark can do it, so it's safe to assume that anything above it also will.

Before this glitch I know that it take driving over 200mph to outrun a missile because that's the speed you need to get over while flying Pyro to outrun its own missiles.
Do this to a Blista Kanjo, then take it to a drag meet at LSIA. Then you’ll really be trolling Lamborghini’s. 😂😂😂

Guys, please use this trick with cars that had engine resistance, like the Dominator GTX or the entity XXR, Rockstar limited the speed of that cars to a ridiculously extent, it would feel like you broke the chains that restrain them.
I hit 304.22 mph with the BR8, also messed around with pizza missions and taxi work. It’s hilariously convenient.

This was not meant to blame Ghille for anything, it was only meant to point out how Rockstar doesn't want us to have any fun playing their game.
So we finally have fast cars? This REALLY looks like hella fun
So this glitch is kinda like brakeboosting but instead of just the acceleration, it increases the top speed as well. Also, I bet this will be patched soon since it's something fun and we know Rockstar don't like it when we have fun.

I have not been able to complete the dre heist since the mercenaries update.
I have not touched Online since I rage quit a bounty mission where the enemy AI really bothered me, their little cars could push my van like tanks!!!!

There's this guy on TH-cam called the mk1 King. Maybe he should try it
If it still works it could maybe be combined with the no falling off bikes glitch (requires a friend).
The hangar has a secret feature which also applies to air vehicles. Upon leaving the hangar it grants a huge boost to horizontal speed to almost every vehicles besides jets. It's really neat and it has helped me out alot! (You can really notice a difference in speed when flying the Akula and the Hunter!)
the go carts are actually fun now
For anyone using rocket powered cars, dont use it for anything other than from a slow or stopped position. It actually slows your car if you try using it while at high speed.

The hangar has more glitches than anyone could even think.
Since last year's San Andreas Mercenaries DLC, there's another glitch revolving around "Hold To Sprint" where if you turn it on you can run, not jog, diagonally in most interiors (casino, nightclub, etc) using WD WA SD or SA buttons, but for some reason if you enter a hangar and leave it, it allows you to enter most next interiors you enter with the ability to sprint no matter what.
And just like that… THREE DAYS LATER they patched it, but hacking and god mode? Nah we let that slide
It's the helicopter boost when you exit the hanger. It translates to Your car.

I just remember a long time ago watching videos on which helicopter I should buy and it included the comparison from starting from your hanger, versus when you position the helicopter in front of the hanger and The helicopter would always come flying out of the hangar when you pull it from inside.
Love how *_toreador missles_* have trouble catching up with my Nightshark and Acidic Bus. Running Imani Tech cars is so much fun trolling greifers after getting a kill on them.
Yes it does work on everything even drift cars I recommend you try with something like the FR36 before this is patched
No joking around, I tried it on AIRCRAFTS and WORKED, the slow aircrafts are not like crazy fast but it totally works, I tried with the B-11, Mogul... It feels faster, but as I said not crazy like the BR8 Open wheel car.
Edited part: I'm on the old gen (Xbox one), I tested with the BR8, Tempesta and Winky, it does work.
Works with the GTA+ VCC vehicles too, spawned in with that menu.
Some other honourable mentions - Pfister 811 with none-bulletproof tyres, with the rear wheels stanced (shoot the center caps a good few times until it lowers down twice).
Pegassi Tezeract (extremely low drag coefficient).
Bunker Caddy (because why not).
Arena War vehicles with nitrous boost (including Deathbike with stock rims / webbed (and other) rims).
Any "drift spec" vehicles with the low grip tyres or whatever.
The HSW Coil Cyclone II is probably faster than the Virtue, but because of the wheelspin actually slowing the car when the boost is active, you have to be more gentle on the throttle. It also reverses at 170mph which is wild.
The Inductor bicycle gets up to something like 100mph with both boosts, kinda fun.
The glitch has actually been around for a few years now at least, mad how things come to be from further testing.
Patch incoming, its obvious the helicopter speed setting when you leave your hangar is being applied to your car!!!

Whats great about this glitch is that it alters the gearbox as well. Meaning the car will go through the gears normally and wont bounce off the rev limiter in the highest gear like when you multiply the engine power values with mod menus

I hit 321.54mph with the BR8...yes this glitch is incredible.
Also tried some things...you can leave the vehicle for someone else to drive...and you can drive it to an LS Customs for repairs without breaking the bug.
Will it stay glitched permanently?? Like if I glitched it today..play a few hour get back on in a fresh new lobby the next day and it’s still glitched ??

Deathbike with boost goes legit 280 mph so I would say it is the fastest bike for sure it beat HSW Hackachou Drag NP 👍🏻
After playing with this for the last 8 hours with my kid, we feel like rockstar has been ripping us off from the beginning, every thing we did this with was awesome and should have been this fast from the pay and spray upgrade, made the game funnn again, just to mess around and have fun.

The hangar applies a buff to aircraft stored inside, and for some reason, this glitch registers any personal vehicle as a stored aircraft. That's the simple explanation of why/how this is a thing.

That's not how the glitch works, aircrafts that leaves the hangar will keep the speed boost even if you keep the landing gear down.
All this does is increase the base engine power of whatever vehicle is your personal vehicle active.
This shit right here is why I always wanted to play GTA Online with a mod menu. So much goofy fun.

Drove my Yosemite 1500 around last night. That was a blast.
It's so fun to close 3 miles on well under a minute. I'm sure players are abusing it with the toreador in public lobbies, but it's making grinding fun right now. We all know this isn't lasting.

Depending on how fast the APC is it might be able to outrun missiles. It could be a threat on the water with another person in the cannon.

The glitch only works until the vehicle is either destroyed, or teleported.

Ok, after testing for myself, it seems that its literally the same effect as the chaos mod of 10x engine speed. Ironically enough, this would allow us to do vanilla drift on ANY car. Why tf dont they implement this already? FFS my lazy old ass pc can handle it, so everyone else should be able to at this point.
