Make sure you don't have any electrical shorts. It might start a fire. Intermittent electrical faults can be bad connections but they can also be insulation that has worn away and now you have a short!
My old Suzuki S40 did the same thing. Turns out the stock air/fuel intake with vacuum line system would stop working. The fix was to install a manual petcock from a Yamaha Raptor 660, which bypassed the vacuum hose and directly put gas into the carburetor with the on/off switch.
It looks like this bike is fuel injected? From the last clip, it looks like you were able to fix the problem? Once you get it all ironed out, you’ll know everything about this bike and you can make it continue to run forever.
it is indeed Fuel injected. it had a bad ground to the fuel pump causing it to stop running so after just doing the straight wire its been fine.......not even worried about messing with wires/plugs on this harness its already to far chopped up by a prev owner to fix and it has to have a new one (well it needs a new one if i want engine temp readings and a non spotty wiring system lol)
was that full throttle? and tbh mic quaility its pretty damn good at speed.
I have yet to actually go wide open. It’s the wind noise that bothers me. Got to find a way to cut down on that sheit😂
@@hunterrides You could try riding with earplugs. Motorcyclists that ride on the highway a lot sometimes wear them because it prevents hearing loss due to constant wind noise at highway speeds, which can get very loud.
@@devilsoffspring5519 well usually i have airpods in which isnt ear plugs but....in this case i was talking about the wind noise the mic picks up at higher speeds
@@hunterrides Ok, there probably isn't a lot you can do about it if it's being picked up by the mic. Best you can do is turn off the mic at highway speeds (or reduce the gain so it isn't so noisy, but it reduces the volume of your voice recording too)

Bullshit, buying a used sport bike is fine, once it is inspected by an independent inspector…..NOT a dealer, not some guy who says he knows bikes. There are people that do these kind of inspections….not cheap.
Just remember that ANY vehicle will require some maintenance and replacement parts. Fuel pumps are one of those things that either just go out. Sometimes they give you warning. Most of the time they don’t.
Wiring is ALWAYS a problem due to the greater majority of people not understanding how wiring works.

Why are you riding a bike that clearly isn't running correctly in the first place . . . then complaining about it and then trying to gatekeep others from buying used bikes? When you wreck from the likely 15+ year old tires that are on it are you going to blame it on something other than your own stupidity as well?
