from a guy that owns a custom 06 gsxr 1000 with a 300 wide tire kit and 14 inch stretched swing arm. this guy has done his homework but the handling ain't as bad as most people make it out to be. yes. u do lose a bit of handling but all you have to do is put more lean into it. I was sceptical at first also when I first bought my gixxer but it's not as bad as everybody thinks . it's definitely not made for twisties though
Think it all depends on how you plan on riding. If you plan on dragging a stretch is all good. If you plan on track riding keep it short so it turns. But on the street neither will be put to full use. So either is easily street able . PEACE!
Hey Night Rider! The longer swing arm marginally effects the turning on these larger bikes. If someone is comparing a 600 with extension and a Busa or ZX14, it is completely different. The 600-1000cc "R" bikes are very light and WILL take a lot more effort into a lean to get the same results. The Busa's and ZX14's are far heavier and there for do some of the work for you. Most often guys like myself with the large bikes are more concerned with straight line racing, and how comfortable the bike is to ride on a daily basis. ( i have a 2010 ZX14 and i am 6'-1" tall, 300lbs.) I have a 12" stretch on mine, with just a 200 tire on a stock rim. The wider tire on the stock rim helps crown the tire more, assisting me in the corners. I still felt a difference in it after the stretch but not bad at all. i was very impressed. Where i live there are virtually no roads that are "twisties" and i have yet to find a road that i can drag a knee on even while speeding. lol Most of our conners i am easily able to exceed 120mph while in the corner on my stretched zx14. I also take this bike to the track a few times a summer to do some drag racing for fun. Makes a HUGE diffrenece on 1/4 mile times having the stretch. PLus as mensioned in your vid....the look so much better....they were made to be stretched! If you have a buddy with a ZX14 take it out for a ride....i heard you mention that u wish the Busa had better handling.....ya its called a ZX14!! lol I have ride'n both and love both bikes, but after riding them both on the same roads....no contest...ZX14 takes it!! Cheers!!! Ride safe!
a stretch is nice if you like to race 1/4 mile at track sometimes..it makes a big difference in the start of racing, its nice to own 2 bikes ,one for street and one for track
It is more the fat tire that slows the handling than the swing arm. It is true that a longer wheelbase will make it have a bigger circle, but much less noticeable with skinny tires. Trail ride an extended dirtbike and you will notice they can still hair scramble when set up correctly. The real deal its trail. You need to bring the back of the bike up higher the longer your swingarm is. That being said most ppl who do swingarm mods do this list, extended swing arm, bigtire kit, lowered. All wrong. Just lowering it fucks the dog more than anything. The more the back end rises the shorter the trail length will be. You compensate for the arm with a long suspension travel. So the real problem is fat tire mods and improper suspension tuning.
I have a stretched hayabusa with a 240 tire and i have no issues with the curves. I can still turn sharp. Infact my friend had the same bike with a 12inch stretch and he eats up the jughandles on an interstaate. He leans so hard his knee damn near touches. You can still enjoying the handling. You gotta try it out bro. It may surprise you. Thanks for the vid anyway.
quick question. If a person stretches their hayabusa to around 8 inches with a 330 mm wide tire kit, will the water come up and spray them in the back while it's raining?
I extended my bike mainly for the look, I never had any intentions of taking it to the track. Aside from the more aggressive look the bike gains better straight line stability. As for cornering you get use to it quick . At higher speeds it does take a a bit more effort to lean it but nothing crazy. It also helps out a lot with cross winds, my bike doesn't have a steering damper. I extended mine 7.5" and my bike came with a 3" drop.
If you stretch your bike and maintain the 190 on the rear, you will be able to take corners just like if it was factory length. My bike is 8 inch over and it performs great. It took a minute to get used to the stretched bike due to the change in height. To me, it has all been worth it.
Fuckin wild. I moved all the way to Berlin Germany, clicked a random video here and dude pretty much cruises right past my old house. I used to live off Annapolis n Wayne. I knew right away where that was.
frequent new tires and understanding how shocks work is what makes riding really fun. An ohlins rear shock, or having your shock modified to have similar valving is the real mod that matters
I usually see extended swing arms on gixxers. I think it looks pretty cool in my opinion, but its mad expensive to get it done. Got my suspension tuned and its amazing. Handles so smooth. I highly recommend that.
I have a 94 cbr600f2 with my rear swing arm stretched just enough to keep the front down, prior owner kept the original so I could always go back, and stock tire size. I have had zero issues with cornering, not knowing what stock cornering for the bike is like.
Night Rider, love your videos. I'm in school right now but thinking of getting a Busa when I get my next job after finishing my training. keep up the fresh videos bro.
I recently bought a 04 zx10r and it has an extended swing arm. the first thing I noticed was the difficulty turning. How would I remove it and make it back into stock length?
What are your views on knee pucks.I for one don't want to put my knee down but i do wear elbow and knee armor. How about you do you knee down or do you wear knee armor?
Lol I have a 6' stretch/ ecu flash / sc project exhaust & i know for a fact i dont feel a difference on my handling my stretch is long enough to prevent me from wheeling but also short enough to reap the benefits of a short wheel base 😁 2015 R1 btw
Clint the Audio Guy I really like extended swingarms, to a point. Nothing ridiculous. Extending the swingarm, increases Anti-wheelie, and increases stability for high-speeds & drifting. I accept sacrificing some cornering ability, for those benefits. I really hate wheelies & Endos. They're design flaws. That's the majority of the reason, why I like relatively low & long motorcycles, either modified to be like that, or like that already, like the naked version of the GL1000/GL1100 Goldwings. And those Goldwings turned into Cafe-Racers, are amazing. And if I ever need to make an extremely sharp turn, I can always properly drag or lockup the rear wheel, and drift out of it, I'm serious. But that will take a lot of practice to be consistent & safe, doing that. And I believe everyone should learn how to drift their vehicle, car or motorcycle, because if you ever unsuspectingly slide, then you'll instinctively know how to recover, and remain in control.
Hey man, is there anyway you or someone can give me a quick run down of what kind of camera yall are usin? Not necessarily the voice recording capabilities.. just a decent setup for recording on my rides
some even say if Stretch will lose horse power, as you have just said it go faster in a drage race, however for the look mostly on those old school chopper or chopper, as for sportbike i don't think it look good
What's good just got done looking at the video you did ..I no how to ride I don't race or will but my biggest thing is braking the bike down the right way I braking it down gare by gare let me no if there's a better way
maybe a bit late to replay, but ye vehicles are always engineered for a reason, but that reason isn't always performance, they also take cost effectiveness and ruglations into account. not saying that a swingarm is a good modification, but aftermarket parts and settings can most definetly make the bike better for the individual need. example: full exhaust, a new airfilter and different tuning is pretty much always gonna increase the performance, but they don't come stock with parts as good as those aftermarkets ones, cuz of regulations and production costs.
Peace Bro Stay safe!!!! I agree as well, I partly grew up in S.C./ N.C./ GA areas for some time and like Charlotte is BIG for the "drag look", i love how it looks myself and also for new riders and ladies they love it also cause its easier to balance the big bikes with the big 10" on the bike it almost stands up by itself... I almost bought one like that, beautiful, but somebody grabbed it up before me, so I went with my 2nd love, which is a NAKED, a Triumph Speed Triple 1050 and thats my thing now as ya can see in my pic there.... It is for show bikes and drag racing I agree... Hotep!!!
Hey bro, it has 132.00 HP@9250 RPM, A IN LINE 3, 4 STROKE... IT IS A TORQUE MONSTER!!!! The reason I love it is I grew up all over, military, and when I was overseas in Germany, if you have not gone yet, try to ride your bike or test ride on the autobahn you will love it bra!!!! Also, definitely if you get a chance go see the isle of man race, YOU WILL FUCKIN BLOW YOUR OWN MIND!!! LOL HA HA ;-)
YEAH, I always loved them since I was a teen... Overseas (UK/ EU) they are the number one bike ever since they came out, very popular over there, here in the USA they are unique, BUT YEAH BRA, YOU WOULD BE TOTALLY SURPRISED!!! But maybe one day next year we could meet up and do a ride together and you can check out how my speedy gets down... ;-)...
1:25 imo negatively effects it in ways that wouldn't matter much to the average street rider that likes to go fast straight. Bc the riders that aren't cutting corners and curves like a racer won't really be as effected bc they're just simply casually leaning and turning, not racing. So not as much of a big deal to the casual drag racer on the starights. That's just my thoughts tho
i disagree i had and ext on my gsxr 750 and im hooked i dont like riding a sport bike with out it now.i got a hayabusa 10" over now and i love it .i dont do wheelies and all that stuff but i can hit that gas hard and dont have to worry about gettin away from me.
OK, first of all... a person (like me) uses an extended swing arm to qtr. mile race at the midnite runs. I have a stock bike for long cruises too. YOU CAN OWN MORE THAN ONE BIKE ya know! I still own my 1984 Gpz900R Ninja (
Another great vid but if you gonna do a video on stock vs swingarm bikes I would thing you would ride a bike with an extended swingarm with or without an wide tire kit. Its just like making a video on military life if you never served etc... I have stock bikes and swingarm bikes and any thing I can do on stock bike I can do on swingarm bike corning, curves etc. extended swingarm bikes doesn't automatic mean wide tire kits. keep up with your great vids though. Salute!
I will jump at the chance to ride one if I get the chance. But from everything I have researched and seen and heard they don't handle as well.Plus it seems the physics alone would suggest it.But I will make a point to try one definitely
My CBR1100XX is stretched 4 inches with a custom arm. Handles roughly the same as stock. As long as the stretch isnt crazy (+7 inches), it should not hurt the handling. I'm not a fan of the fat tire look either, at least nothing bigger than 240.
I extended my bike about 7.5" and it came lowered 3" when I purchased it in July. I mainly did it for the more aggressive look. I use to think the stretched look was stupid but it grew on me seeing a co-workers stretched and lowered 1000RR. So when I got my bike it just looked too plain. I think you can actually build up your turning skills with it cause it takes a bit more effort to lean it at higher speeds.. As for the handling you get use to it quick. The extra length give the bike better strait line stability . My bike doesn't have a steering.g damper so the stretch helps with the cross winds a lot. My bike is a 01 cbr600 F4i and it still lifted on me accident when I did a clutchless shift from 1st to 2nd once. I never had track intentions with my bike and mainly wanted to customize it. There is lots of hate when it comes to the extension but It looks so much better. Especially on older bikes like mine with a larger tail.
Holy Crap dude. Maybe we can ride sometime. I Work at the Nissan dealership down the road from where you were at. (I'm not gonna say where but I recognized every building you passed.)
It's all personal preference. I have an K5 Gsxr-600 with the front and rear lowered and a 4 inch stretch and I have a 190 rear tire to have a little more contact in the rear. And it handles like a dream. Still able to get a good lean in the turns. If done right you won't notice anything handling wise. Too low or don't setup the suspension properly your handling of the bike will definitely be noticeable. I live jville fl. Everyone I ride with have some type of stretch ad still ride hard. Just do your homework.
+Night Rider much respect bro. I from around the belleville area.. I'm starting on a zx14r I've road before but now I want my own. hopefully I'll see you around
Watch Kawasaki H2R stock vs Hayabusa drag race, you will understand the function of extd swing arm for, not the rematch version after extd the H2R swing arm
stretched swingarms murder the handling and are only good for drag racing. in my opinion there really isnt any pros. id rather not have chicken strips an be able to actually take a corner then have straight line stability
I HAVE A 2001 GSXR1000 STOCK. LOVE IT THAT WAY AND NOT GOING TO MODIFY IT. SUZUKI SPENT ALOT OF MONEY AND TIME IN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TO MAKE IT AN ALL AROUND PERFECT SPORTBIKE, SO WHY FUCK WITH IT.. TO EACH HIS OWN THOUGH. PEOPLE LIKE WHAT THEY LIKE.
1st gen busa 2nd gear goes out 2nd gen busa stator and rectifier goes out and busa is not a cornering bike 🤦🏾♂️ you cant catch me in traffic on a busa
+clusterfuk3 thats a well stated opinion forget the widetire extended swingarm bikes and talk factor size tire extended swingarm bikes. I'll take my extended swingarm r1 or zx10 and do anything you do on your stock base bike. I'll out corner you or out ride you in curves
Hey. If you want to increase your handling, look for lighter wheels, available for your Hyabusa. Magnesium or Carbonfiber. I want to support my country, but I haven't found a U.S. company, that makes Carbonfiber wheels. There's Tekarbon.com but they don't make Carbonfiber wheels. There are European and a South African company, that makes Carbonfiber wheels, but I didn't bookmark them, because they aren't from the U.S., sorry, you'll have to find them yourself. As for magnesium wheels, I haven't looked for those yet. I hope this helps, later.
I would like to see a video with Speed and concentration... Don't mind your voice but wouldn't mind seeing you spur around a corner.... Every video is so slow and I have a cruiser. I believe most people that commented against Swing arms simply never rode one. What turns you do in this video? I wanna see that bike do close to top speed man...
Why would you do a video about extended swing arms if you never even rode a bike w/ one and bought your stock bike for looks. Anyone would be as or more qualified to make this video.
+Night Rider I really wasn't going for offence here. I also realize it may be hard to accept constructive criticism when your intent is to offer aid and info for free. That said it may be counterproductive to speak on a subject better handled by someone with at least SOME experience on the matter. What if there are dangers to the swing arm extension you know nothing about. It could be misleading to youth wondering if this is a safe mod or not, that's all I'm saying.
+Chas R It's really simple even with cars...longer wheelbase make a wider turning radius. And I have seen bikes with extended swing arms cornering it isn't pretty. And every biker knows more weight to the front end helps keep it down. What about this video is incorrect to you? Also yeah anything can go wrong with custom work.
+Night Rider Well I don't want to have drawn out argument. It's like me making a video about nitros kits. I've never had one and never rodea bike with one. Would you suggest I make a video about it?
+Chas R Compared to saying: "OK we have a bike here withe a mildly extended swing arm lets take it for a ride now one with a radical extension, now the stock bike. ". Then draw some comparisons
Observing Rogue Fair enough. IMO that benefit is totally outweighed by the loss in handling. It all comes down to how you ride though so I guess to each his own.
I'm only interested in a short stretch, and a swingarm & wheel, that can fit the widest rear Dunlop Q3 tire. I'm also interested in changing the forks & triple tree, not only for a great diskbrake system, but also, for the widest front Q3 I can properly have. I'm doing a Café Racer project, and I want great grip. Not only are Q3s the best American made tires I know of, but the extra width should make my bike even better. The linear feel of those tires, with the bigger contact patch from being extra wide...I'm excited. But that will be my next bike project. My current one is about being cheap, because I'm very poor right now.
Observing Rogue I hear ya. One thing to look into (and I'm no expert) but I've heard/read that bigger isn't always better for grip. Meaning that you see/hear guys who stuff a bigger tire from a 1000 on 600's for instance and it mis-shapes the tire and actually causes worse handling. I don't know this for a fact, but it would be worth looking into. I've never ran Q3's, but I did have a set of Q2's on an older bike and they were definitely a good sticky tire. Didn't last long, but I guess that's to be expected with that type of tire. Good luck with your next project.
Watch this *I NEVER RODE A EXTENDED SWING ARM AND I THINK IT LOOKS COOL ON SOME BIKES,UGLY ON SOME AND SOME ARE EXTENDED WAYYYY TOO MUCH AND THOSE ARE UGLY I JUST TALKED ABOUT IT WHAT YOU GONNA DO BUDDY*

What about a short extension? Like 5"? Still "no go" on the twists?
Until its lowered and you're dragging your foot pegs.... Talk about making your butthole pucker up a bit.....
I have the same bike. You answered questions I had. 👍
Think it all depends on how you plan on riding. If you plan on dragging a stretch is all good. If you plan on track riding keep it short so it turns. But on the street neither will be put to full use. So either is easily street able . PEACE!

I like your cover photo if that is yours, my bike is a purple/chrome zx10 aswell

If you stretch your swing arm on any bike. Be sure to hold on to all the original bits. You will need it when you bin it.

you couldn't be more wrong if you tried.
agreed
I would actually work on mods increasing the Cornering ability than ruining it,...... "Cornering is the Corner stone of Biking"
+LoneRider Same here.
Night Rider thats why i wouldn’t go past a 290 tire or 275

+samuel lopes
I don't even trust myself changing oil. Just imagine what would happen if I tried to do extended swing arm myself. Lol.
when tastefully done it can look good.just most I see aren't lol.
I'm looking for a 125 for my 17th any opinions on what would be the best one?
125 is slow af
+INFINITYCL yea haha but I can only ride a 125 the now just wanting something to get out on the road with
I have no experience with those sorry
+Night Rider no worries and great video by the way 👍👌
+Nathan Chapman thanks bud
I have a 94 cbr600f2 with my rear swing arm stretched just enough to keep the front down, prior owner kept the original so I could always go back, and stock tire size. I have had zero issues with cornering, not knowing what stock cornering for the bike is like.
Night Rider, love your videos. I'm in school right now but thinking of getting a Busa when I get my next job after finishing my training. keep up the fresh videos bro.
Thank you so much
I recently bought a 04 zx10r and it has an extended swing arm. the first thing I noticed was the difficulty turning. How would I remove it and make it back into stock length?
Stock swing arm off ebay or somethin and buy a stock length chain. Then a stock brake line
I've had my 07 zx10 since 2018 and I'm bou5 to put a swing arm on jt
What are your views on knee pucks.I for one don't want to put my knee down but i do wear elbow and knee armor. How about you do you knee down or do you wear knee armor?
+vince caporizzo I dont knee down because i dont have puck.I plan on buying track pants but they are not cheap.
I'm thinking of getting a bus for my 1st bike. Would you suggest this?
Yes but be extremely careful and slow. Not recommended tho
Lol I have a 6' stretch/ ecu flash / sc project exhaust & i know for a fact i dont feel a difference on my handling my stretch is long enough to prevent me from wheeling but also short enough to reap the benefits of a short wheel base 😁 2015 R1 btw
How long? #nohomo
I like stretch with out the fat tire
this was a cons video. No pros really to be said here...
He said the pros were looks, and the fact that you can accelerate harder without wheeling. Pretty much the only two reasons people do it.
Clint the Audio Guy

will a wider rear tire affect handling??
+Night Rider i noticed my gsxr600 has a 180 tire in the rear but a yamaha sportbike has an original 200 size?
sayheytome
You got me
Hey man, is there anyway you or someone can give me a quick run down of what kind of camera yall are usin? Not necessarily the voice recording capabilities.. just a decent setup for recording on my rides
Trey Smithson Gopro hero 3 black edition set to record in 1080p 60fps
some even say if Stretch will lose horse power, as you have just said it go faster in a drage race, however for the look mostly on those old school chopper or chopper, as for sportbike i don't think it look good
what about a Busa with a non-extended single side swingarm with a 240 rear tire?
Will still affect handling negatively
Hey, I demo'd a Hayabusa a while back and I have to say it felt much lighter on its feet than I expected it to. The engine was also butter smooth.
Yeah a lot of people think it's a slug but it's pretty nimble for its size.
What's good just got done looking at the video you did ..I no how to ride I don't race or will but my biggest thing is braking the bike down the right way I braking it down gare by gare let me no if there's a better way
Your Hayabusa sounds so good, Does it have a aftermarket exhaust ?
i suggest riding a suzuki b-king, provided you can find one, it's a big bike like the busa but it's more up right so it's more nimble
I would never get a vehicle mechanically customized. It seems it the stock vehicle was engineered that way for a reason.
maybe a bit late to replay, but ye vehicles are always engineered for a reason, but that reason isn't always performance, they also take cost effectiveness and ruglations into account. not saying that a swingarm is a good modification, but aftermarket parts and settings can most definetly make the bike better for the individual need. example: full exhaust, a new airfilter and different tuning is pretty much always gonna increase the performance, but they don't come stock with parts as good as those aftermarkets ones, cuz of regulations and production costs.

Hey Night Rider, im a Dwarf, currently 3 foot 1, should i buy a Sportsbike?
Get a grom bro. Those are too fun.
+Gabe adorno I agree a smaller sized person that weighs less would have lots of fun on a grom...
No.They don't make any street legal bikes that size to my knowledge
slam a grom

doesnt really affect my handling, I have extended swingarm and doesn't really affect anything(for me that is)
What year is you're hayabusa and how much did it cost you?
+Jesus Christ Bought it in 2013.Its a 2007 cost me $8500 out the door!
+Night Rider you got a good deal and paying cash is better.
+Jesus Christ Yeah I bought it while it was cold outside. Its the best time to buy.Dealerships don't move many bikes when the season is bad
+Night Rider true especially here in Wisconsin when it's snowing the used bikes are like half off amazing time to buy.
Sorry newbie question, but squidding?
My ZX14 is turbocharged I had to go with 6" over so I can have my cornering and stability, having a fat Tyre kits kills your power!
it doesnt look too good, but i kind of like the idea of stretching a busa a bit and slapping a turbo on, its just a difrent kind of bike
I like your content! And I agree with everything you said!
i disagree i had and ext on my gsxr 750 and im hooked i dont like riding a sport bike with out it now.i got a hayabusa 10" over now and i love it .i dont do wheelies and all that stuff but i can hit that gas hard and dont have to worry about gettin away from me.
"but i can hit that gas hard and dont have to worry about gettin away from me."
Or you could have just learned how to ride in the first place...
Salute!
+IAMTHEGIFTED_ONE that's not even comparable.... its a well known FACT that your mobility is lessened
I will jump at the chance to ride one if I get the chance. But from everything I have researched and seen and heard they don't handle as well.Plus it seems the physics alone would suggest it.But I will make a point to try one definitely
+Night Rider Have you ever crashed with your busa?
I've never been dwn once on my busa
My CBR1100XX is stretched 4 inches with a custom arm. Handles roughly the same as stock. As long as the stretch isnt crazy (+7 inches), it should not hurt the handling. I'm not a fan of the fat tire look either, at least nothing bigger than 240.
The Hayabusa is so common to see a fat tire kit on
If I extend my Royal Enfield 350 by 4 inch, will it effect the handling??
+samuel lopes Yeah i never hate on guys i think that stuff is childish! If you like it i love it.Do what makes you happy
Just for zx14 or hayabusa's an medium extended is good imho
a cool thing for you would be mirrors that actually show what is behind you. Yamaha FZ1 has real mirrors
+Mister Eftup I still have to chicken wing on the fz1 zx14r much nicer
What was your first bike?
Haro
Holy Crap dude. Maybe we can ride sometime. I Work at the Nissan dealership down the road from where you were at. (I'm not gonna say where but I recognized every building you passed.)
Lol lately I've been getting locals recognizing the scenery
It's all personal preference. I have an K5 Gsxr-600 with the front and rear lowered and a 4 inch stretch and I have a 190 rear tire to have a little more contact in the rear. And it handles like a dream. Still able to get a good lean in the turns. If done right you won't notice anything handling wise. Too low or don't setup the suspension properly your handling of the bike will definitely be noticeable. I live jville fl. Everyone I ride with have some type of stretch ad still ride hard. Just do your homework.
heyyyyy are you from Michigan that looks like michigan Ave you're on
yup
+Night Rider much respect bro. I from around the belleville area.. I'm starting on a zx14r I've road before but now I want my own. hopefully I'll see you around
+JONATHAN SIMPSON Cool .are u gonna take ur safety course?
+Night Rider yessir I'll have my bike in April already planned out.
+JONATHAN SIMPSON How old are u?
thank you for Advice ❤
A few weeks ago I was going down the freeway and I saw a Honda grom with an extended swing arm
Are you serious?
+Night Rider dead ass and I also saw one for sale on cycletrader
Pablo Oliva
LOL thats crazy
No desire for a big fat tire, Night Rider is a poet an don't know it. LOL PEACE!!!
Where are you riding?
Michigan in this video
Night Rider thanks for replying, lovely ride and good content
No problem thankd
Very informative bro thank you
Speaking of this video the bike I have has an extended swingarm but not by my choice lol. Anyway it's not really that long.
Is it expensive to get an extended swing arm onto a litre bike?
What bike u got.And have u ever ridden a bike with stock length?
+Nathan Chapman From what research yes
I think it looks cool on some bikes but I wouldn't get it on mine.
+Ogre Doug Yup same here. What do you ride?
Night Rider Nothing yet, but I from what personally would ride. Long swingarms don't fit the bill
Ogre Doug
Yeah i want my bike as nimble as possible
They should make that swings arms a Lil flexible
One of the best mechanics ever said if you want a fast car buy a fast car. That would go for bikes to.
Watch Kawasaki H2R stock vs Hayabusa drag race, you will understand the function of extd swing arm for, not the rematch version after extd the H2R swing arm
AMAZING BIKE I LOVE IT ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Look up Honda grom with extended swing arm on TH-cam and you will see one similar to the one I saw
+Pablo Oliva okj
+Pablo Oliva LOL thats funny
I bought a Busa and I don't want to change a goddamn thing on it! It's perfect exactly the way it is that's why I bought it!!!
I hear ya ain't nothing wrong with that
Ok cool I seen you were riding threw Inkster that's where I'm from I'm thinking about getting a bike maybe gsxr600 or zx10r imma short guy so idk
Are you from Michigan
+Jay Tew Cupz yup and cali
He just seen the cost of it and trying to say he like the stock gtfoh
No.
I'm extending my ZX14R today 12"! I'm going to do a video on how much it changes the handling this weekend!
stretched swingarms murder the handling and are only good for drag racing. in my opinion there really isnt any pros. id rather not have chicken strips an be able to actually take a corner then have straight line stability
Same here that's why I stay stock
You know what they say about guys with long swingarms
I HAVE A 2001 GSXR1000 STOCK. LOVE IT THAT WAY AND NOT GOING TO MODIFY IT. SUZUKI SPENT ALOT OF MONEY AND TIME IN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TO MAKE IT AN ALL AROUND PERFECT SPORTBIKE, SO WHY FUCK WITH IT.. TO EACH HIS OWN THOUGH. PEOPLE LIKE WHAT THEY LIKE.
pro to swingarm drifting
Miss your vids
Great video!
+The Foreign Gamers Thanks man.Whens your next upload?
We post daily, just be on the lookout
The Foreign Gamers
Ok.I wont be able to watch them all but will tune in whenever possible and comment
let's see how you ride :) no vlog just you concentrating on riding!
Usually I make those a "Hayabusa cruising" clip. Those are usually when I'm just riding
You never rode stretch, don’t comment. Just sayin. Good vids, just stay away from stretch vids..
I know exactly what im talking about. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand simple physics. And ill keep commenting on it. Thanks though
Wow! Those are seriously boring roads....how do you manage to stay awake?
The extended swingarm looks absolutely disgusting. It's a shame to ruin a bike that much
You guys all say modified doesn't help... Come ride my slow cruiser and wish you had a Turbo...
1st gen busa 2nd gear goes out 2nd gen busa stator and rectifier goes out and busa is not a cornering bike 🤦🏾♂️ you cant catch me in traffic on a busa
nightrider I just inboxed you on instagram with the pic of the Hayabusa I'm looking at with the custom swingarm please give me feed back thanks
You mean day rider?
Yeah I know lol. I need more night vlogs
Yeah I totally been considering those.I wonder how much weight they will shave off.
I have a full throttle vid.And i got some twisties and turns coming in later vids.Just hit a bend leaning at 110 mph today
I run q3+'s on a 17 busa lowered no stretch 0 chicken strips and .....we're not talking about dragging knee but comfortable would be a understatement
Miss ya vids
Why would you do a video about extended swing arms if you never even rode a bike w/ one and bought your stock bike for looks. Anyone would be as or more qualified to make this video.
The Effects a longer wheelbase can have on handling isn't a complicated concept to grasp....unless you're stupid!😶
I have no desire for a big fat tire! If you want to make your audience happy, you will write the rest of the song and sing it in the next video....
+Damon Thomas LOL what song?
+Night Rider Don't ask me, you gotta write it, you already got the chorus
Extended swing arm is only good for 1 thing....Drag racing. I'll take a bike that tears up the twisties any day over a straight drag bike.
It's also great for drifting & high-speed stability.
Observing Rogue
Fair enough.
Observing Rogue
I hear ya.
OGS IV your right , only fucken idiot would do that to a road going motorcycle , save it for the drag strip
Bro you from Michigan
Lmao u out there in Westland, Wayne area hey I'm getting my busa out this up coming summer we should ride some time bro
Prince Logan What year u looking at?
Night Rider it's a 03 busa in out here in Ypsi Ann Arbor area
Prince Logan What color?
Night Rider silver and black
Prince Logan I think i see it.Its for $3200 right?
Want better handling get zx14
Ahhhh...physics. A conversation I can have.
You can't talk about a swing arm when you have never rode with one like you said. Just saying
Nick Roark you can
Watch this *I NEVER RODE A EXTENDED SWING ARM AND I THINK IT LOOKS COOL ON SOME BIKES,UGLY ON SOME AND SOME ARE EXTENDED WAYYYY TOO MUCH AND THOSE ARE UGLY I JUST TALKED ABOUT IT WHAT YOU GONNA DO BUDDY*
if I would've seen this video 4 years ago I would've mailed you all my stock parts.
+MrPontiacfever Id take them
