Cruising the Holden Lx Torana 308 doesn't go as planned.

Freshly rebuilt holden 308 engine in the LX torana doesnt go quite as planned but everything looks like itll be ok.

I’ve since discovered I lost the pin out of the end of the camshaft that locates the pulley…. Hopefully nothing is bent, the front of the engine is coming off again 🤦🏼‍♂️

Yup I've had that happen too 😢 thankfully my valves didn't kiss pistons... hopefully yours are the same! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Are they a interference fit motor? Hopefully the pistons and valves didn't have a get together 🤞🏻

Not sure….. it still turns over but I’ll pull the rocker covers when I remove the timing case and check… 🤞🤞🤞

@@TasTuned hope it's good mate, she's been fighting you for a bit. Quick compression test will hopefully tell you if you have bent valves. Be good to see you out at another track day, you looked like you had a blast.
