    I don’t know if you guys are still monitoring comments in 2024, but “Flyings” is a term I have encountered in the early cotton weaving industry, “Flyings” being of the nature of airborne lint, and obviously highly prevalent and combustible, and pointed out the need for “Electrical Plant to be protected from such debris”, I hope this helps - Julie

    I would like to get a copy of the 1st edition thinking back from or to 1882 and now only up to the 18th but so much has changed.

    Here here to simple the wording used is prehistoric even in the current edition thus we struggle to understand it fully

    Dynamos produce DC so the frequency was not relevant. AC started to increase popularity in the late 1880s.
