It’s good and bad, it’s harder to lead aggressive creatures off of cliffs but they also won’t run off cliffs if you’re trying to tranq them without a trap

Like I'd say Axe is good at the game, but he just doesn't care enough about certain things to put his effort there, he's just having fun and doing whatever fancies him. Where Syntac is a bit of a perfectionist (I am myself so I relate xD) so he is always wanting to be even better than he currently is therfore he can come across as if he "thinks he's bad", but I think he knows he's good at the game objectively.
those purple flowers that were on the ground with the crystal would have given you rare mushrooms and flowers if you used the morellotops to harvest them, they give silk with the sickle.
I love how classic ark this series feels so far. Getting destroyed by the weather, getting ARK’ed in general, just roaming around on your first rideable creature. Making these dangerous trips you’re only going to make with a flyer later on. It feels so adventurous.
I've seen babies get no bonus levels when claimed after taming the parent, and I've seen babies get bonus levels when claimed after killing the parent. It just seems random/bugged.
I was killing parents back to back and claiming the babies quickly and I got the bonus levels almost every time. Random creatures too. Trike, dodo, stego, etc.
Syntac, I don't think I've rooted as much for you or your tame more than this! WOO! These episodes have been intense. Wow the morell came through, then the baby dire wolves, and finally that excellent 145 tame. Through these many years you have taught me the value of preparedness when going out into Ark. I gear myself based on the map. I always carry 2-3 parachutes. It has saved my life over and over again. Those moments being chased by something then get to a cliff or high hill and float away. I will whistle my tame to follow with the hope it survives. I keep all my tames on lowest follow distance. When I whistle they come right up to my face. Countless times they have saved me from holes in the maps, stuck on mountain sides, whenever and whatever. SE is very tough, but you championed through it. Right on! Fun fact: on bobs tall tales poster art, theres Scorched, Aberration, And Extinction, and on the Ab Part we have steampunk-like armor and a BLIMP on the top, and on Extinctions we have a Mad Max like armor and CARS, not like the ATV. So in conclusion we got Trains for scorched, Blimps for Ab, and Cars for Ext. Yes it gives a description when you hover over it but I thought id be worth pointing out since I didnt notice it the first time.
@@L_ightninng Isnt the Ab map's cave systems big enough for a blimp to fly through? Plus they might not make like a full sized blimp and have it be able to go from the Grassy areas to the Blue zone to the Purple/Rad zone so you dont get fucked by rock drakes on the way back up
In SE Arizona we get thunderstorms all through the summer. Monsoon season. Vegetation looks very similar to scorched earth. The terrain looks more like northern Arizona and southern Utah, with the reddish rock formations.
I think a big part of the added difficulty to this map has to do with the increased amount of boulders, vegetation and terrain variation in addition to the newer pathfinding. It’s hard to spot creatures tucked into all the nooks and crannies plus they don’t get stuck on things as easily

You know before I got Ark for Christmas in 2019, I would always watch other people play and wonder "why doesn't anyone just turn up all the rates to make the game easier to beat?" It was a stupid yet reasonable thought at the time

I found twin 150 Paras on The Island I named Loonie and Toonie after the LoonieToons and Canadian currency nicknames. I wasn't able to imprint them, though, not that it would've mattered much. They are Paras, after all.
Morellatops attack newly placed structures for some reason. I was trapping a moth in my single player world in thatch and it got ruined because nearby morellatops attacked my foundations everytime I placed them
48:30 - I feel like this happens for me because I tend to check the levels on all the pretty ones I see, so I notice when they are low. However, the non pretty ones I just ignore when I'm not looking to tame that creature so I don't notice they also have low levels just as often xD
They are not in one tribe so their tames can get aggroed at the other. Besides, Syntac did go over to Axe's to check on the morellatops after a while and then brought him his one.
Love the new ASA content. Learned a lot over the year watching. The morrellatops coming down the hill was hard to watch lol. Had to look away. 😂 keep up the good work!

Yeah it's a new thing in ASA, it applies to ALL stun-type debuffs to prevent stunlocks

Oh it isn't always 0 damage. I had 3 tents get stomped to death before I decided to hide the 4th on a cliff.
Babies only get bonuses when claimed by Gigantoraptors now. Makes babies less good on maps without Gigantoraptors.
