Same here in canada, Our country is turning into a communist country fast, My youtube and FB has been blocked my links and news stories I post on FB get taken down, I have had 24 hour suspensions . Yesterday I seen a post talking about now banning people from using bows and arrows on their own farm land because people are buying them now that you can't us a gun for anything but hunting but now they are pushing a new ban on guns that fire bullets or look like guns,
But is this actually decided policy now? I heard a few weeks back that it had come up for dsicussion, but all my favourite Russian channels are still up and running, the content is uploaded from Russia and they have a mixed Russian/western audience (many of them have live chats while streaming, and clearly many of the people in those chats are natives living in Russia). So I'm not seeing any kind of general ban, any iron curtain between YT and Russia.

OK. You had a third country bank account (I'm guessing Turkey) that was hit with secondary sanctions. You had legal Turkish residency at one time. But is it still valid? Do you need it to open a new bank account there, or do they permit foreigners to open accounts easily? Same question if it's in Georgia or Serbia (Serbia has pretty loose regulations). If it's going to take two months to open it AND another four 4⃣ months to link Google Adsense, shouldn't you save time and use the Thai account? (Unless only Thai banks take that long to link 🤷). At least the money in the secondary sanctioned bank is still there. 😁

I used rutube today .There was a delay in loading a 720p video on my 100 mbps internet connection .Many users like me cannot understand russian so its difficult for international audience to use rutube .

Maybe Russians, like some Iranians have done for years, can use VPN. VPNs (virtual private networks) allow tunneling on the Internet. It can be used to set up efficient and secure connections between networks, enable the usage of unsupported network protocols, and might allow Russian users to bypass firewalls.
we are using it, but the government is banning vpns left and right. One day they will simply make you go to jail for using a vpn
OK. You had a third country bank account (I'm guessing Turkey) that was hit with secondary sanctions.
You had legal Turkish residency at one time. But is it still valid? Do you need it to open a new bank account there, or do they permit foreigners to open accounts easily? Same question if it's in Georgia or Serbia (Serbia has pretty loose regulations).
If it's going to take two months to open it AND another four 4⃣ months to link Google Adsense, shouldn't you save time and use the Thai account? (Unless only Thai banks take that long to link 🤷).
At least the money in the secondary sanctioned bank is still there. 😁

Good Banking Choices Ivan! Banking has lots of rules/ all over the place. Even our banks give people headaches sometimes with this or that rule/ but it does not really compare. We did a breakfast tour in Istanbul last summer on one day, a few Russians on the Trip asked where to exchange GOLD, well, that is old school but still works too. Enjoy!

Media in the Russian Federation, including the internet, is regulated by Roskomnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications), a branch of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications and control what on the WWW is allowable , VPN's won't work much longer , for most access to downloading them is alrady gone.
