- I’m back to my Tarot Card Series! I’m so excited to be sharing this creation, turning a hybrid of C.A. Cupid and Catrine DeMew from the Monster High Line into a my interpretation of the Star.

the Tower voter here; the Star turned out to be absolutely ethereal, i love her and all of the details you come up with. Still would love to see less 'personified' major Arcana cards like the Tower or Wheel of Fortune - so many ways to translate their key features into dolls. Looking forward to anything you choose to do next! :)
She looks like she's been through a lot and still have her serenity and peace. The instruction on how to make the braid was great! I'll try it on my next doll with long hair.

I cannot WAIT to see your interpretation of "The Fool" I imagine him/her to have a grin that could be interpreted as triumphant or cheeky/mischevious! Also I would like to see how you paint smile creases around the doll's eyes and make them look natural

What an interesting rendition of the Star. I like her a lot, though I always imagine the Star as a very bright and colorful character, so it clashes a bit with my vision of her. Still very interesting though! Probably my second favorite (the Devil is still the first).
I'd love to see the Tower, yeah - it's one of my favorite cards! As are the Moon and the Hanged Man, that I'd love to see too!
I wouldn't mind seeing more tarot card renditions in general. They're fun. As an idea, perhaps some of the minor arcana cards could be fun, or a series of specific types. Seeing someone make all of the different swords, cups, or wands or pentacles etc with their variations would be interesting I think. Beautiful rendition of the star by the way. As someone with thin skin and lots of visible veins and things it was nice to see someone put a little emphasis on that.

I think Death would be a super interesting card because it's so misunderstood but that's just me. I've been advocating for The Tower since you started this series. I'd also like to see The Hermit and The Fool. Of the major arcana, those three come up for me most often when I do readings, so I feel some attachment to them.
She's really pretty! I love the color of hair you created for her, and her silver tattoos just add to her ethereal vibe. When you were describing the symbolism of the Star card, it occurred to me that a really good human name for this character would be Andromeda, which means "defender/protector of men" in Greek and is also the name of a constellation. I think it suits her. :D

Your lines are so clean, you give your dolls immense depth, in story, and repaint, I’m in love.
You ask if we’d like to still see The Tower? Ok, honestly, there are repaint channels I watch that I only go to when there’s something that particularly interests me, others I will watch quite a few if they’re personality is fun, then there’s a couple other people I wouldn’t miss a single video, and try to watch it fairly soon after it uploads, you are one of the latter love. You repaint? I will watch, no matter what you make, you’re extremely entertaining, knowledgeable, soothing, and the talent is through the roof. ❤️

I think, even though very similar, that Cupid’s sculpt is *slightly* different to Ghoulia, with a more upturned nose and poutier lips, but the difference is only noticeable if you look very closely xx

Actually kind of! My very first idea was to recreate the silver dress she first wears in the movie but in black, however I couldn’t find a fabric I liked that draped in that same soft and effortless way

This is a beautiful doll. But, in my opinion (please don´t be mad at me) there is too much black here. She is serene, ethereal ( the skin tone is surpreme) and all, but i wish you could have done more of the guiding and hope aspect of this card. Maybe some drawn constellations or nebulas on her dress. Or a small fade to silver on the spikes of her armor? But this is just me.
I would love to see the tower. Such a strong card. Destruction, Revolution, the breaking of old overcome structures... i am eager to find out, how you will translate that to a doll.
