Some stuff (pertaining to things referencing me) are inaccurate. I wasn't the one who contacted the consulate, there was a person involved I believe her name was Genie Kim (she did a lot of foreigner visa's in Korea for the past 10years). After making her aware of everything I believe she was the one who personally called. The GenG streamer pitch came after T1 was no longer possible and I was trying to figure out another way. That initial call w/ Arnold took place when I was still living at T1 HQ and I believe it was in the cafeteria the call took place initially. A group call with them was then later setup on Kakao Talk. The sponsorship part yes, Nemesis was brought under the same agency as me but not many sponsors were "given" or cut to him the way the video says. Some of my much larger sponsorships I did siphon money from my own contract in order to get him his own contract made and integrate him into the contracts (the super major one the siphon-contract happened with was Mobalytics, followed by what would have been ProGuides, and Skillcapped. A lot of sponsors we had were similar as we had the same agency). Some people might wonder "why do that", but as I stated multiple times on stream I was making hand-over-fist each month and Nemesis was my absolute best friend who I wanted to succeed and feel more comfortable in streaming/getting "brand" reputation (this is a thing where your agency can constantly reference that you've worked with X brands before and thus are more reputable as a brand sponsor). A lot of people constantly ask what happened between us between the obvious public information that we don't talk, and obviously I've stood by I won't discuss things publicly. At one point in my life he was my greatest friend. Despite being my greatest friend we certainly had arguments and disagreements as many friendships can have, and I was also less capable and equipped to handle situations like that compared to the current me of today. In my pursuit of certain things I would lose track of other important characteristics of friendship and there were many things I should've done differently/better in many isolated incidents. Couple this with the 2021 summer where a lot of personal hardships (several people very close to me unexpectedly died in a very short time span to one another) and my mental state lead to me leaving the Incheon house to move over an hour away to be w/ my S/O and "get away" from daily-LoL stuff further adding to my mental stress at that time. I would also say during this time period my unhealthy anxiety relationship w/ money matters lead to some other stickler situations that were certainly just stress inducing for anyone involved (that I can now after 1.5yrs of therapy and finding out I'm an autistic and how that means I quite literally don't perceive emotional situations the same way, allows me to help compartmentalize and handle better). I obviously won't talk about details or anything, nor will I elaborate further on anything that I wrote above. I've firmly stood by my stance that Nemesis is neither a toxic teammate from everything that I witnessed first hand as I was quite literally directly involved with Fnatic at several points in 2020, nor do I think a lot of negativity surrounding his reputation is accurate. He has been and will continue to likely be one of the best players the game has seen and it's very evident to anyone who watches him play. Despite our estrangement to one another now adays I have nothing but respect for him as a player and have only contrition remaining for my inability and ill-equippedness as a person to have been a better friend/person during that timeframe, I still detest anyone who would attempt to smear or undermine his achievements/skill in the game or how he is as a teammate etc. As always "actions over a prolonged period of time are infinitely most honest than any words a human can speak." This will ring true for all matters in life and if people ever want measure something. Scape-goating Nemesis the way he was done by FNC and FNC fans/socials etc is one of the most disturbing things that has happened to an elite player in western league. Edit - The FlyQuest thing would've never had me and Nemesis on the same roster(for aforementioned reasons), the pursuits happened at different times and I believe FlyQuest continued to try to pursue him even after I had declined.
Thank you for clarifying some things, and sorry about the inaccuracies. Only so much you can say, generalise and assume when you research the topic at hand. Always massively respected you for your stance on this situation, providing clarity amid the storm and defending people who deserve it
I don't know you but the Video did paint you in a rather good light. It's good to see you are a genuine person, but maybe try saying sorry. Losing friends is excruciating, repair what's broken if it can be fixed. Much love to you all.
As a former professional sport player, people like Nemesis and LS seem to be the perfect teammates, it baffles me how much humans can have a “sheep” mentality and blindly follow everything they hear/see from others, nothing but respect and love to you lads! Stay strong, amazing and true to yourselves, you rock guys!
I never liked Nemesis much, but after watching a lot of his hot takes on league meta and seeing how high he's been climbing in Korea, you can't help but respect the guy.
Oh wow I didn't realize he was practically holding rank 1 hostage lol that's insane dedication AND skill. I hope everything works out for him@@Jojifans
Being #1 in a video game that will eventually go away is not really that amazing as you have to look at what he sacrificed to do it. When LoL eventually dies and he looks back on his accomplishments, do you think he will say it's worth it based off what all he gave up to do it? I think if he's being honest with himself, the answer will be an easy no. Ppl that do this are usually running away from something and have an unhealthy relationship with the game.
@@sinnis4993 if you thinking making a lot of money makes you a capable and fully functioning adult you must be a child. Money can't buy you smarts, it can't make up for lost time, it can't mend friendships. Sounds to me like he's lost a lot to get that money. As I originally stated. He sacrificed a lot, if he's okay with that sacrifice, fine. But I think in 10-15 years he will look back and ask "Was it worth it?" And I believe the answer will be "No."
people can hate the guy all they want and yes he can see the world differently. Autistic too but LS is a kind guy that puts himself out there to help people for just helping them.
He's an amazing player if not phenomenal, but the team never seemed to have gotten along, the only one who seemed to be the most professional with Nemesis was Rekkles, Hyli and Bwipo who spoke well of him. The system they had at the time wasn't grounded either due to the egos of the players and extremely different opinions.
@@cremlindor6607 yeah that team had a lot of big egos, Bwipo, selfmade and nemesis. Really great players but that roster just fucked up their careers, look at them, 4 out of the 5 players are teamless or in a 2 division team.
21:20 ish. Nemesis and Bwipo played some games together in Korea and talked about this a little. Bwipo said he regretted not caring more about Nemesis' well being and mentioned he did not eat properly at all. I'm not sure if there was more going on than that, but having an eating disorder myself I can tell you that not eating properly alone can hinder your well being and performance by quite a lot.
I respect Nemesis a ton and FNC for sure have a rep for being a shithole internally (especially for the past few years) but FNC didn't ruin his pro career. In fact I don't even think it's ruined to this day. If he wants to compete he can, he just needs to finally accept an offer (which he is still getting multiples of every year btw). If he never ends up in pro play again there is only one person to blame and that's himself.
@@relay9461m.th-cam.com/video/bxbPQRdZxyE/w-d-xo.html, it has been known that he has had some offerings, however what has been implied is that the offerings were from mid table teams and nemesis turned them down, so yeah he is the person that is responsible for not coming back into proplay
Basically, he has to be humble and accept an offer not pretending to get first on LEC and going to international first split. U sometimes have to lose to finally win once
Best Example of this, Rekless. As much hate as that dude gets to this day, he never stopped trying. He was benched, screwed over, contract jailed. but he wasnt afraid or too proud to fall back to a minor league, grow, change and even roleswap and climb back up. and now hes in LCK CS. @@santi3256
Nemesis was so obviously scapegoated and sacked for the overall bad performances and lack of player synergy. The signs were clear back then, he was literally bullied out of pro-play, yet he keeps showing everyone that he is a brilliant player. I am happy that the guy found recognition elsewhere and was able to hold his own even in such unfavourable circumstances. Respect.
I think for me the craziest thing about the Nemesis narratives is that the same rules seemingly dont apply for the Fnatic iterations after. Supposedly better rosters (especially the Upset dickriding) produced no international results and reached 2 LEC finals in 3 years. Nemesis had to deal with arguably worse circumstances but produced better results. Curious.
Upset was in FNC for 2 years and he got a worst team to finals than Nemesis, he also performed really good at worlds at his 2nd year. Upset left because the managment was bad, same whit Nemesis. Problems are managment and bad rostet bilding.
He also joined an iritation of FNC which won comfortably both splits and made Worlds Final year prior. It's not like it was a shit lineup, he literally could not join a better team for 2019 LEC . You also leaving out the part where Rekkles left the team after 20' and they split one of the best western botlanes of all time. Cringe Nemesis stans being cringe
2018 Fnatic was great, but a decent majority of the fanbase knew they were going to be weaker than G2 heading into 2019. G2 wasn't that far behind them to begin with, and then got one of their best players in caps. Rekkles and Hyli would have needed to be broken up for Upset Hyli to be a thing. But if the current narrative is to be believed, Upset is a better adc than Rekkles to begin with. Wunder and Bwipo were very close to each other in performance, Humanoid (when joining Fnatic) was the best mid in EU in 2021, the support was the same, and Razork has so far been a better jungler than Selfmade. @@jimmymontgomery4581
to be honest the missed oppertunities and his apparantly ( as it sometimes looks like it) growing dislike of game changes are probably from him being disillusioned about the pro scene. the dude wanted to be a pro, looked up to faker, tried to have the same mentality. gets signed for arguably the most well known EU team for what? to be treat like shit. to pretty much have your dream torn apart in front of you and then be made out to the world that you're a shit player and toxic. can you blame him for not instantly jumping at the chance to rejoin the pro scene
Yeah the video was like "There was a misunderstanding and they cleared it up and tried to convince him but he wouldn't join." like it's not obvious why he wasn't into it lmao.
The thing is that Nemesis failed to realize that Faker’s mentality (and in general eastern teams mentality) are not compatible on LEC or LCS. Why? Well, mainly cause players are mediocre, even more than players is a matter of who manage them. U see strict schedules imposed by coaches and management where they need to be completed from head to toe. On regular west leagues, players practice whatever the fuck they want, scriming blocks not being taken seriously, lack of discipline and many other things. That’s why players like him, Rekkles, elyoya and so others that have this constant winning hard working mentality are hated or blacklisted by players, coaches, teams and so on…
I wished Neme learns enough Korean to play on a LCK team tbh. Most eastern jgs are willing to play selflessly at times if their teammates prove worthy and many Korean pros all expressed approval for his play. Idk tho, league's in a rly bad spot for the past few yrs when worlds/msi isn't happening

During Covid I really got into League and the Esport scene. I watched those fanatic G2 games and almost all the games from all different regions. I distinctly remember nemesis going toe to toe with Caps without any issue. Self made was always taunted as this amazing jungler but I have yet to see any proof of that. Didn’t work out in Vitality, I watched Nemesis stream here and there and every time he is always playing against the best players in Korea. I want nemesis to go join a pro team (not NA) and give it another go. His steaming career is in a good enough spot he can always come back to it full time. But he might regret not trying again in the future
@@tatzecom Given how big he is right now, that is how streaming works. It would take time to get back to a comfortable position in streaming after pro if he does choose to go back to pro for a bit, but i have no doubt he would still be fine.

I really hope he somehow goes back to pro. I've always liked him and was a fan of him. He even got so much better. I'd love to see him compete again, although I know it's unlikely. Just such a tragedy

How Fnatic ruined Nemesis career or how his teammates "mobbing" him?? Few days ago, Dardo said the problem with Nemesis was them team mates didn't want to play with him... and the rest of the team said it as well... So, how Fnatic could manages the situation if 4 teammates didn't want to play with you? I think is not as simple as say "Fnatic ruined his career". Dardo also said Nemesis "realized" he will not gonna be on the team after worlds because someone said it in a podcast before worlds. That people of the podcast said they didn't said it as a new or because they had that info but as an opinion because they knew Fnatic was making scrims with another midlaner because Nemesis teammates didn't want to play with him... but Nemesis knew that too! Probably Fnatic was partly on blame as organization but Nemesis and the rest of the team too.
i loved wathcing him playing DUS, it was like a meet again with his passion, i hope he goes to any LEC team, where midlaners are underperforming rn with a few exceptions, he would help EU and maybe redeem himself, he is an insane player and any team would be lucky to have him
I think everyone is entitled to their opinions and whether or not the information in this video is true or not. No one should ever criticise ex players and cause opinionated debates on reddit like. Nemesis is or was one of the best midlaners from what I recall when he was playing and how players like Rekkles says he was the same level as Caps (apparently the best EU midlaner) should say something to everyone. I personally sad to see Nemesis in this way atm, especially if this Vel Koz pick claim is true in how Nemesis was forced to play it despite better champs in his pool. Overall, League is a team game and is obvious that FNC in 2020 were not a team, despite them being the top 4 best performing EU teams in 2020. We as fans will never know the truth and thats how it should be. Mistakes were made and if I was Nemesis during 2020 worlds, I might not bother playing to win if I knew I was going to be replaced based off how my team think I am the problem to their failures. Also, LEC was declining and still is to this day considering how G2 is playing shit and with the mass changes to FNC since 2020 is not improving to them at all. I pray that teams like KCorps or even XL at this rate can make it to worlds this year to prove a point. And i hope Nemesis can return back to pro play because EU needs a new team or a new player to hype for and to be that shining light for EU at MSI and worlds. Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I respect Nemesis since he was a good player but I do think miscommunication was the cause to his demise in FNC and how Bwipo, Selfmade and Hyli were all playing badly, they had to have someone to blame and blame the quietest team member. League is a team game and need everyone to be on the same page, especially against LPL and LCK teams.
from what i gathered in this video, nemesis had the experience of a soloQ in a "professional team" , at worlds. only diff actually having voice chat. team plays poorly, blames one man, clssic.
I knew LS was a contoversial guy, but come on now he helped Nemesis and so many other. Don't think people understand the commitment and the emotional and financal sacrifice/risk LS made for Nemesis, he literaly went all out to show Nemesis-es full potencial but Nemesis didn't see it that way and didn't take the opportunitie. Btw I am Slovenian and I have played high elo Master-Challenger league of legends for 8 years now, so I'm not just a random talking, could of tried going pro, around the same time Nemesis did, but currently making more money in a stable business. This is just what I think. I don't have insides on everything that happend behind the scenes and we don't realy know Nemesis or LS or anyone else in thier personal lives so its hard to realy say who is to blame.
Yeah it's crazy. Nemesis was just a guy who popped up in LS's chat and he had no benefit to gain from doing all of this, yet he did it. Props to him. Sad to know that these are not on friendly terms currently
It seems to me like Nemesis is miserable playing League but is stuck playing this game since his livelihood depends on it. Any time anything changes in the game he sounds like he would rather not have to learn anything new and risk losing his position as one of the most skilled midlane players.
@@Archielolol Drututt, RatIRL, Baus and Davemon are a few examples of high elo (maybe except for Baus recently, lol) players who still seem to have fun pretty consistently

I think the part about not wanting to learn new things is just wrong. Nemesis has been playing champions before they became meta (Tryndamere mid for example), influenced picks in pro (Angel picking Malzahar) and is also known for item builds that are uncommon (multiple ppl like Showmaker, Yamato and Jizuke referred to the Syndra Cosmic Drive build as his specific build). He also has the most fun when he explores new options in game like when Taliyah was reworked or Hwei was released. I think he just has a very vocal opinion on the game and he won’t change his mind unless he is challenged by a player he respects.
Nemesis was a mid level Mid laner on a good team. He was never great, just hyped up. He plays Korean solo queue and people think that he is now a top 4 mid in the world…he isn’t. There is a reason why he doesn’t play professionally and it’s because that’ll get exposed and he won’t have a podium to stand on to get views anymore.
how does this defend nemesis being a ”good player” coz rekkles said he is? he has mechanics but any soloQ player over master has those. and i havent seen this ”emotionless” nemesis he is a crybaby and makes every excuse possible to not have to do work on himself. only excuses its everyone elses fault but not his own incompitance. hope i never see him in proplay. lackluster at best
Humans are social, if you fail to be social, thats on you. If youre not actually just a menace in game, no team has to put up with you nor do they want to. Nemesis is a good player but i cant stand his personality, kinda the same situation as with crownshot. If you are good but replacable, you cant also have a problematic personality. Rekkles gets away with all the criticism he gets because of his brand and skill, nemesis isnt even close to that and crownshot is lucky to even be in the same conversation
How nemesis ruined nemesis's career if we are honest. You know the video is biased when it said he is arguably top 4 in lck...even asked us to throw any preconceptions about nemesis and starts off the video like that. One word to describe all that delulu
while the first statement is arguable, asking to throw your perceptions and opinions aside is valid, as he is only asking you to keep an open mind and think on all the info you were just given, and from which to form your own opinion, or keep an old one, not to blindly follow the opinion of a top upvoted comment from reddit. i see nothing wrong with that?

While FNC has a lot of issues i disagree that they ruined Nemesis' career. Many players with worse skills and\or bigger ego have played in worse teams and still managed to continue playing after they left. If you stay out for so long is either your choice or you are not very good at taking opportunities.
But yhe guy consistantly gets offers but rejectets them. I personally dont think he will be amazing, just the same as before, at best top3 but mostly top5. But it dosnt matter since he dosnt whant to come back unless he is in a super strong team, which given that he hasnt played for over 3, years he dosnt deserve.
nemesis was bad and he ruined his own career by being a joke when compared to caps. thats why he gave up playing and now talks shit like he was not garbage
I watch Broxah's content and he is always upbeat, anti-toxic, and very positive streamer/gamer. Whenever I see Nemesis talking about anything he is negative, cynical and critical.
I think this discredits Nemesis's responsiblity. He isn't a victim of a bad and toxic team but he is the middle of it. He was basicly the core issue of Fnatic. Everyone he played with basicly didn't like playing with him, no matter if it was someone with a large ego like Bwipo or a smaller one like Broxah. There is a saying: if everywhere you go is on fire, maybe consider that you are the match. Also I am not saying Selfmade and Mithy and the others aren't responsible, but there are two sides to this story. If you go from being best buds to getting hard flamed in year, there has to be a lot more than just one person getting toxic in bad situation, especially when you have played just as many before and that's when you grew close. Also why did Mithy only "force" Nemesis to play champs he doesn't like? Like he let Rekkles play the champion LS recommended him, while he supposedly very much didn't like LS, but he wouldn't let his own player have a say in champion select? Something just isn't right about this story, there are massive illogical and plothole-y things here, and it's because the truth is that Nemesis is probably the most responsible player for his own downfall. I think Nemesis is a pretty good player, definitely top half of LEC, but like let's not victimise him when he was basicly everyone's core issue in Fnatic, no matter the player for two years straight.
I agree this is a weird video just claims nemesis is a victim that did nothing wrong based on no evidence. Nemesis was bad and made things worse for himself by doing the whole "I am a weapon I have no feelings " while getting stomped every game
Knowing some low level pros that casually shares information with me, this is the result of two things. There is a thing about people being associated with LS, they all think about the game the same way and pretty much 90% of the current LEC and EMEA pros are very against the "church of LS" due to the heavy theory crafting that doesn't apply to the real work. Nemesis isn't known to be toxic more so very blinded by faulty game logic, Bwipo however is more known to be toxic. To contrast the heavy ego Nemesis possess of himself, high level pros doesn't want to play with him and Nemesis doesn't want to play with low level pros. So in a big way what's preventing Nemesis from playing in the LEC is Nemesis himself for refusing offers to what he thinks are bad teams.
ending part was a worry for Nem. It seems like he just didn't believe in himself and had MASSIVE trust issues with anyone after 2020. He had multiply chance to go back into the scene but because he was backstabbed by fnatic, he just lost trust in everyone. Kept on second guessing everything and never tried to move on from his scars.
I haven't watched this vid but i wanna ask what u mean with backstab? I know there's a misconception around the nemesis situation and im wondering if its about that or something else.
i keep on reminding people that fnc released nft. so im really not shocked to find out that management is the main issue. i quite liked nemesis and would love to see him play again in an enviroment where he can thrive.
It seems like Nemesis is a victim of the environment he was in. It's inherent to esports that a lot of the players are lacking in social development due to playing the game so much and from a young age. This can be seen in the behavior exhibited by people like Selfmade and Dardoch but also by Nemesis who seems to go in the other extreme. The fact that even an esteemed organization like Fnatic still does not employ personnel with the skill set necessary to work with these players is an inditement of their management. Mithy was clearly out of his depth in that regard since he was a player himself for his entire life. I am convinced that a ton of potential is wasted because orgs don't teach players how to communicate and how to work with one another but rather just expect a bunch of emotionally 14 year old gamers to work this out all by themselves. Just look at 2023 Vitality and how much money they threw at players while surrounding them with a less than subpar coaching staff. If they had someone who understood the cultural differences between China, Korea and Europe and was also able to grasp the differences in personalities that person should have been able to help players and coaches communicate better. Same thing with Fnatic (be it Nemesis and Selfmade/Broxah or Razork/Humanoid). Granted it would be more expensive since the organization would have to have one ore multiple therapists and psychologists on their payrole but compared to essentially gambling on a multi million euro roster just magically working out it would seem like a nobrainer to me.
The best OG players especially in game leaders in counter strike mention this. How back in the day most of the players had played a sport or 2 growing up and understood team environments from a younger age and often times is something the new players lack when they enter the scene.
@@auss6940 yes exactly. A game like cs likely has a different playerbase than lol so they have more social experience when they become a pro. League is notorious for its toxic and antisocial players so it shouldn't be a surprise for orgs when their new young prodigy has only ever interacted with 'teammates' in soloque and likely in a very negative way. It's absolutely no surprise that a young person or at least emotionally a kid will have problems when they suddenly have to work in a team. Also a lot of League pros seem to be at least somewhat on the spectrum. Sometimes it's so minor that it propably wouldn't show in their normal life but in a high stress situation it can become a big challenge for them and those around them.

You can't say "Nemesis and LS say that the conditions in the Fnatic house were bad" and then cut to LS saying that he's *heard* conditions in the Fnatic house were bad, because that's not corroboration, that's just him repeating what Nemesis told him. It's also strange that the entire premise of Nemesis' career being "ruined" is that he's apparently been "blacklisted" only to later in the video admit that he's actually had offers from teams he just didn't think they were "good enough" teams. Frankly it sounds like Nemesis' ego is what has destroyed Nemesis' career.
No matter what rank he hits, he is still a toxic and salty player who thinks almost every teammate is trash unless he gets into a Korean team. He's not playing for any team right now because he keeps rejecting low tier team offers, thinking he deserves much better. And good teams are not interested in this guy because ranked doesn't mean jack if you have a toxic personality. Good teams require cohesion and synergy, not someone with the god syndrome. Some of the great players were ok with joining weaker teams and proving themselves worthy there, like Rookie, GimGoon, Doinb, KaKao, and obviously Nemsis is only interested in joining a team with players that he thinks are good 😂. Yeah the team management is totally gonna put up with your crap and pick whoever you anointed.
I mean tbf his personality is what holds him back a lot imo. I dont think people necessarily think he's a bad teammate, but rather just someone they rather not play with. Like an emotionless player in western culture just doesnt work well like it would in asian culture. League is a job for these people, but in western culture expressing yourself is quite important for teambonding.
He's actually a very emotional person. But because you cannot differentiate his stream persona with his actual personality then I dunno what to tell you. Look at every single time on stream where he was doing something with his friends and how big the change in the way he acts is.
I don't think Nemesis's overall dislikeablilty has much to do with the whole FNC thing or because people think that he's a "bad" player. Think a lot people (from the ones I've talked--> 40ish) plainly don't find him likeable at first sight/entertaining and find him very passive as a streamer/player (not that he necessarily IS a passive person (only his friends can know that), just that he might come off that way) and in the streaming world, that's enough for people to be "offput" to watch his stream and change the channel. Not trying to connect with viewers on somewhat of a personal level is also not a good streamer characteristic. Even though streamers aren't viewers' friends and will never be, there needs to be something for viewers to latch and hold on to and Nemesis seems to lack that or at least, not show it/not know what it is/what it could be. However, I can understand why people think he's toxic but I don't think it all stems from his pro player days but from his stream/overall appearance. It took me 20ish streams and talking to 40ish people to realize why I don't like him and that's when I stopped watching. Apart from the fact I couldn't find one thing to connect to (unlike when I started watching other league streamers (LS, Jankos, Dom, Rat, Pianta etc.)), it's just constant negativity on his stream. Don't get me wrong, I do think he's a great player but I'd rather watch a youtube vod of his gameplay than his stream because the only thing I've ever seen on his stream is talking shit about the game and how everyone's bad at it EXCEPT Him and if I wanted that, I'd just go play a ranked game with unmuted chat and get the exact same experience with a possibility of getting LP and achieving something/getting experience while playing which his stream doesn't provide. I understand everyone has a huge ego in this game and that most of the streamers are toxic, but when you combine the following things: he doesn't share anything about himself + when he does talk, it's just constant negativity + he's very passive, he comes off as an "egotistical bratty kid on a high horse that needs to be disciplined by his parents" and not a fun person to "hang out/be around/"spend time with"", certainly not an entertaining streamer you can relate to (at the veeeery least to a miniscule extent). Sure, other streamers like RatIRL talk shit too but you still know something about them non-game wise and "talking shit" is not their ENTIRE stream, it's like a periodical burst and there's always something in between those bursts that separates the shit talking and gives some breathing room from it. If I was Nemesis and I experienced drastic viewer loss (not sure where he currently stands), I would try streaming with some good music and no cam and maybe I'd have a better outcome and my awesome gameplay would shine instead of the toxicity/negativity.
i havent watched the video yet, but how can u say he is a top 4 LCK midlaner, that is just mind blowing, his last performance competively was Worlds 2020 where he got stomped by Knight every game no exception, I would for sure say Showmaker, BDD, Faker, Chovy and maybe even a few more
Dude, there was a Taric top onetrick KR at rank 1. Soloq doesn't matter for pros. He is just wasting his time grinding 10 hours day just to prove he can beat Taric top onetrick :D
I like the video but overall (the wording of some things, etc) it seems a bit biased towards Nemesis. Even if I agree that he was definitely a victim at worlds in 2020 based on the available info, he WAS one of the more passive midlaners, comparatively (not necessarily a bad thing). Using stats to prove it is not the correct approach - just watch the games. I think qualifying certain player statements with your opinion takes away from the quality of the video because it becomes more of an opinion piece rather than a commentary. Good job otherwise, I’ll sub
Yea, they ruined him. It's not like he's just been sitting out because he only wants to join a top team that already has a midlaner. He's had multiple opportunities to play again, and he chooses not to. He had 1 decent year and because he likes to talk about pro play, he keeps himself relevant
The thing people dont understand about team sports is that systems can make or break individuals. You can have the raw skill to be a master class player but if the system of the team doesnt take advantage of your skills. You are way less efficient than you could be. Just because a skilled player doesnt perform on a team most of the time doesnt mean the player magically lost their skills. Most of the time, its just the system not using them properly.
Loved how you start the video by saying facts in the first half, opinions in the second. Then 8 minutes in we begin to label players as "open-minded" and "narrow-minded" source: this is my opinion 😅. Great effort on the video! Did you see the interview with Dardo and Thorin that came out recently?
Hey! I love the effort you put in the video and as a slovenien i understand that there will be mistakes in speaking out the name of the city/village. But it is very important that you do not mix Slovenia with Slovakia, they are 2 completely different countries.
The video title is a bit of a stretch. Fnatic made problems for some of the players in the past sure but come on Nemesis was ignoring offers for years now. He decided to get stream money over pro but fails to realize that without pro he will never get as much money from streaming (he has negative charisma let's be real) and just his gameplay won't give him rising viewership from this point since we already know he is that good. I don't wish him anything bad but I just can't stand the way he is using his opportunities because I can clearly see the potential. Couldn't care less tho it's just annoying to see that people blame others when it's honestly on him 80% of the time.
I mean to say he had some bad games in the TES reverse sweep series feels like an understatement. He got gapped pretty fucking hard by Knight. That said I also don't think one series should define someone's entire career.
Nemesis just knows he doesn't want to go to NA. For a player that values soloq practice NA is a death sentence to form and mental. Also being the best team in NA doesn't really translate to international performance. He knows it has to be LEC. He said he would have joined the Flyquest roster if it was an LEC team. So the issue was never the players. Its the region.
At this point I don't know whether we'll ever see Nemesis on a pro team again. He's supposedly not taking "bottom/mid tier" offers and I don't think any well established and well performing team would ever gamble on Nemesis after him not having played professionally for many years. He's probably in a rough spot where accepting any offer he gets probably cuts his salary, just for the chance of playing for a mid tier team that at best can contest for a worlds spot and if that isn't good enough for him, we'll likely never see him in pro play ever again. (all assumption bases on rumors/info and general consensus)
Selfmade was obsessed with playing flashy carry champs and was notoriously toxic. On the other hand Nemesis favored late game scaling champs. An interesting video but I feel that despite FNC's mismanagement ultimately Nemesis has to shoulder some of the blame he had a very shallow champion pool and was inflexible. Also I think LS has an arrogant "my way is the only way" attitude and was probably a bad influence. Having said that Nemesis seems like a nice guy and is undoubtedly a great player. I would love to see him play pro again.
Nemesis case is indeed a tragedy, but I think in the end hes quiet content in the way it all played out he can do what he loves for a living and doesn't have to deal with the big egos and politics of the pro scene. The man was made to be a LOL god now he can be it on his own therms just like Dopa. I wish him all the best and a long and successful career as a streamer.
he ruined his own career by underperforming in every single worlds split for fnatic. the first in a long list of fnatic mid laners to turn out to be awful
the LS clip with the morellos on azir, it wasnt that there was no need for anti heal, in fact anti heals pretty god damn good against a comp like that. it was more the fact it was purchased as first item completion
This video makes a lot of good points, particularly about Nemesis being scapegoated by FNC, and I have adjusted my opinion of him, but none of that changes the biggest issue he has in my opinion. Nemesis is not blacklisted, and comment he himself has made prove that. What happened to him isn't fair, but he could've been back in the LEC on a top org by now if he'd set his ego aside. The fact is that he has had offers from LEC and LCS teams therefor he is definitionally not blacklisted. If he wants to play for a top team again, he can simply play for a bottom team for a split or two, prove that he's still a world class talent and disprove his reputation as a bad teammate, and then good teams will be willing to make him offers. I understand why someone wouldn't want to play for a bottom team, but if he's not willing to correct his reputation in order to get there, he has no right to complain about not getting good offers. Either continue streaming and don't complain, or join a bottom team and prove everyone wrong.
@@KooHyN You're not wrong, but he was still blamed for a lot of stuff that probably wasn't his fault, and that's still unfair regardless of his attitude
I think he was wronged in the Lec, and I think he is a good player, but I think he is to blame for his stagnation. LS went out of his way and above and beyond to help him multiple times and give him endless opportunities and he kinda just passively sat there and let them fly by.
Even if you reach out to a person, it doesn't mean that a person is in a good position to receive your help. You have to take in to account his situation.
He might be this insane play every champ guy now but, back then he definetly wasn't.He had champion pool issues and he always chose to play the safe scaling mids. He was not the guy that would lock in Sylas or Akali and 1v9 like Caps. Also climbing korean soloq doesn't mean hes top 4 LCK mid cmon, soloq is a different thing. But he would for sure be top 3 mid in the current LEC so, it sucks that hes not there when he actually seems to have expanded his champ pool a lot.

Basically, he has to be humble and accept an offer not pretending to get first on LEC and going to international first split. U sometimes have to lose to finally win once
Agree.
@@santi3256

@@ml-bk9rzThey don't have to play on Fnatic, it's a shithole and why Caps decided to leave for G2 in 2018 even though Fnatic's offer was better
Upset riders are fast. 👀
He also joined an iritation of FNC which won comfortably both splits and made Worlds Final year prior. It's not like it was a shit lineup, he literally could not join a better team for 2019 LEC . to be honest the missed oppertunities and his apparantly ( as it sometimes looks like it) growing dislike of game changes are probably from him being disillusioned about the pro scene. the dude wanted to be a pro, looked up to faker, tried to have the same mentality. gets signed for arguably the most well known EU team for what? to be treat like shit. to pretty much have your dream torn apart in front of you and then be made out to the world that you're a shit player and toxic. can you blame him for not instantly jumping at the chance to rejoin the pro scene

Bwipo being classified as red is a federal crime, the man is the most open minded player I have ever seen
True
i loved wathcing him playing DUS, it was like a meet again with his passion, i hope he goes to any LEC team, where midlaners are underperforming rn with a few exceptions, he would help EU and maybe redeem himself, he is an insane player and any team would be lucky to have him
1:23 nice attention to detail, that's why we watch your videos. Keep it up 👍
no shot blud actually read that
I think everyone is entitled to their opinions and whether or not the information in this video is true or not.
Kakšen biznis? Fajn to, majstri ste da ste tako dobri. Moji možgani so prepočasni ..
Bro you’re literally a random 😂 why are you acting like any Master hover can go pro? 😂
Just starting this video but i'm really glad to see someone finally covering this topic.
It seems to me like Nemesis is miserable playing League but is stuck playing this game since his livelihood depends on it. Any time anything changes in the game he sounds like he would rather not have to learn anything new and risk losing his position as one of the most skilled midlane players.
Well since he wanted to quit league I can't help to think that he wants to quit as well (for the reason that League is stale i guess?)
Literally every league streamer is miserable playing this game, Tyler1 used to stream 10 hours now he streams 5 to 4
@@Archielolol Drututt, RatIRL, Baus and Davemon are a few examples of high elo (maybe except for Baus recently, lol) players who still seem to have fun pretty consistently
@@Archielolol Bro aren't you a Nemesis dick rider or something i see you under every nemesis clip trash talking him when you aren't even one third of his rank or game knowledge or maybe that's someone else with the same pfp.
There is a reason why he doesn’t play professionally and it’s because that’ll get exposed and he won’t have a podium to stand on to get views anymore.
great documentary man! Hope to see Nemesis flourish in a fitting team for him one day
how does this defend nemesis being a ”good player” coz rekkles said he is? he has mechanics but any soloQ player over master has those. and i havent seen this ”emotionless” nemesis he is a crybaby and makes every excuse possible to not have to do work on himself. only excuses its everyone elses fault but not his own incompitance. hope i never see him in proplay. lackluster at best
During FNC videos he seemed like a mute only thing saying being "One Plus"
Hearing all this about Mithy makes me understand now why LS brings up the C9 structure so much
Fnc did not ruin nemesis' career. He himself decided to not play anymore
Waaw i knew of this situation... But not in this detail. Amazing video
Thank you for your time and effort in making this video :)
How nemesis ruined nemesis's career if we are honest. You know the video is biased when it said he is arguably top 4 in lck...even asked us to throw any preconceptions about nemesis and starts off the video like that. One word to describe all that delulu
while the first statement is arguable, asking to throw your perceptions and opinions aside is valid, as he is only asking you to keep an open mind and think on all the info you were just given, and from which to form your own opinion, or keep an old one, not to blindly follow the opinion of a top upvoted comment from reddit. i see nothing wrong with that?
another great video keep up the good work brother!
This vid earned my respect for LS. Doing all that for a grown man is crazy. He should've been more proactive at least for respect but I can see how he was broken fron fnatic mistreatment.
Dang that's a good vid. U could do a Bwipo or Jankos leaving g2 or reckless vid next I think it would click well
I never understood why nemesis didn't get more chances but someone dardoch did.
Because he didn't want to, he got multiple offers he just didn't accept them
@@Ghost0fDeath1 i meant with top teams. He didn't get another chance with top teams. Not because he didn't want to but because he is blacklisted which is what he said himself.
@@SocomhunterX-o4x he was not upgrade for any top team in europe, all larsen, huma, caps at that time were better and now those teams dont even consider him an option since being so long out of pro play is being a wildcard and if u add that he was problematic to work with is not a plus is eyes of these orgs that are suppose to hire him
@@PostonPL Have you even watched the video at all or are you just parroting what you think?
Nemesis was blacklisted by all the top orgs that could actually do at least something internationally. The reason they didn't even bother approaching him is because of Fnatics destructive criticism about him that is likely not even remotely close to the truth.
Even to this day he would never get an offer from the top EU teams despite smashing LCK solo queue... If you want to stick your head in the sand then go ahead but don't come & bother me about it.
@@SocomhunterX-o4x "Fnatics destructive criticism about him that is likely not even remotely close to the truth." and how do u know that? nemesis even himself said in don jake podcast that he cant stand dumb ppl(ppl less intelligent than him is his opinion) and then he said that he would call them stupid in their face, which top organisation should downgrade into worse player who also says stuff like this to his coach, name 1 org.
so basically if he was a better midlaner there would never be a problem
While FNC has a lot of issues i disagree that they ruined Nemesis' career.
Many players with worse skills and\or bigger ego have played in worse teams and still managed to continue playing after they left.
If you stay out for so long is either your choice or you are not very good at taking opportunities.
Everyday I pray for LS and Nemesis to become friends again

nemesis was bad and he ruined his own career by being a joke when compared to caps. thats why he gave up playing and now talks shit like he was not garbage
I watch Broxah's content and he is always upbeat, anti-toxic, and very positive streamer/gamer.
Whenever I see Nemesis talking about anything he is negative, cynical and critical.
Maybe the world Made him this way? Imagen you are the best on your Team and shitplayers Like selfmade bwipo and hyli are destroying your career lol
He ruined his own career with his big mouth and idiotic choices
The day they sacked Nemesis, Fnatic have been a mediocre team at best. History speaks for itself.
@@lowceyn2875and he never played a professional game since. Your point?

Can anyone let me know if nemesis reacts to this on stream?
i keep on reminding people that fnc released nft.
so im really not shocked to find out that management is the main issue.
i quite liked nemesis and would love to see him play again in an enviroment where he can thrive.
Sometimes it's so minor that it propably wouldn't show in their normal life but in a high stress situation it can become a big challenge for them and those around them.
this seems like a lot of speculation and feels pretty biased

"SO WELL DONE" while confusing Slovenia and Slovakia
@@hyakkimaru4133hahaha im slovenian and that was the only problem i have with this video, otherwise its amazing... Nemesis deserves so much better but if hes having fun streaming ill take it i love his content
Lol, this video is mad Nemesis cope and some of the worst journalism i've ever seen.
Number One problem with Nemisis is that he acts entitled to a good team, instead of earning his way back, That i cannot respect.
2:04, minor correction: Slovakia is not Slovenia. But other than that, very cool and informative video
Good job otherwise, I’ll sub
how do you pump out such long videos so often?

I’m sure there’s both sides and then there is the truth, but I can’t help feeling sorry for nemesis
Yea, they ruined him. It's not like he's just been sitting out because he only wants to join a top team that already has a midlaner. He's had multiple opportunities to play again, and he chooses not to. He had 1 decent year and because he likes to talk about pro play, he keeps himself relevant
Lets be real. He was in bad situation for sure. I hate selfmade even more. Honestly worst player in Fnatic ever

That said I also don't think one series should define someone's entire career.
rekkles his prediction was insane at 12:55
Nemesis just knows he doesn't want to go to NA. For a player that values soloq practice NA is a death sentence to form and mental. Also being the best team in NA doesn't really translate to international performance. He knows it has to be LEC. He said he would have joined the Flyquest roster if it was an LEC team. So the issue was never the players. Its the region.
The narrative of Fnatic ruining the career when Nemesis had multiple offers each season is so stupid.
LS and the Cook, greatest goats of all time. That Cook must've had some fucking psychology degree or someshit ong
Hope to see him rise and dominate!! Come on Nemesis do it for you!
the LS clip with the morellos on azir, it wasnt that there was no need for anti heal, in fact anti heals pretty god damn good against a comp like that. it was more the fact it was purchased as first item completion

regardless of how others viewed nemesis from personal experience he is imo one of the most talented league midlaners to play against.
As long as he defends the biggest bully in the community, LS. I couldn't give a fuck if Nemesis went broke, 0 sympathy. Good player tho
LS saved Nemesis even when Nemesis refused to help himself.
Then Nemesis ices the relationship.
Either continue streaming and don't complain, or join a bottom team and prove everyone wrong.
he wouldnt have been a scapegoat if he acted like he gave a fuck
@@KooHyN You're not wrong, but he was still blamed for a lot of stuff that probably wasn't his fault, and that's still unfair regardless of his attitude
People often call Ayn Rand's antagonists unrealistic but here they show themselves. The rot is rooted in the common philosophy of our time.
I think he ruined his career himself
