- Temporarily Closed or Abandoned? Pho King Vietnamese Cuisine - Camp Hill, PA. Enjoy a look at this restaurant that shut down due to a fire in the kitchen. Since then, it appears that not much had been done to reopen this place if, it in fact, it is to reopen.

This was originally a Roy Rogers restaurant in the 70's
Damn, that old?!
Was a former Roy Rogers
To me, it looks both abandoned and closed.....
Not only is the electric meter gone....the power drop is completely gone, too. See the wires hanging out of the conduit that comes out of the meter box. 4:09
As I watch this video, it sounded weirdly similar to another restaurant in Wichita Falls Tx. China Star was forced to close because of a fire and compounded by the insurance company complicating matters. It's sad to see places close for any reason. It hurts the local economy and keeping good people from earning a living.
Thar place was pho king great.
considering the road sign is down, and the fire damage to the building as well as all the ceiling, tiles fallen down, not picked up. It’s safe to assume it’s abandoned.
The ceiling tiles could have been knocked down by the fire department as this looks like a roof fire. I imagine they are waiting on the slow insurance company. There is a bbq place up here that has been closed for about a year. They had bulldozers on the lot to demolish the fire ridden structure, but they packed up after sitting there for 3 months and didn't even touch the building.
Some times the insurance company is taking their time to pay out on the claim because of the fire department investigation in the cause of the fire 🔥
Awesome Wallie
Nice Video Wallie Enjoyed as Always
I live very close to that place and use to work down the street from there. Peppino's which is the pizza place across the street from there is really good if you're in that area again and looking for food that's actually available. Keep up the good work and neat to see you near my part of PA.
Cool video man
Wow wallie nice video. Thanks
I,just finished watching your video about this building, and Temporary Closed, and is Closed Permanently. 2:19
Keep up the great work on this wallie your doing awesome buddy :D
Awesome video
Thats funny that it could be abandoned or closed 😂 thanks for sharing this. Stay awesome 😎 Wallie
Love your video Wallie big fan
That's abandoned and closed for good
It is closed... pho sure!
Great video and was about to say that saracha sauce is way past it's due date 🤣
I have hoped n hoped they would reopen. Best Pho around here. It makes me so bummed that a fire claimed some good food.
From the stone columns and the shape of the roof in the front half of the building, it looks like a "Covered Wagon" Roy Rogers.
That’s literally me in the line at DQ. I was wondering why there was a yellow car parked in that lot 🤣🤣
LOL!
.. it looked like there was a flood in there when you looked through the side window, which would be right underneath where the tarp on the roof was, so, rain/snow is just pouring in there ..
From what I hear, the food was pretty Pho King good
Lol
I am under the assumpiton that if google finds out a place closes and somepone does not make a report. google just makes it temp closed.
Just subscribed! We're from Berks County area. Nice channel!! It is a shame to see some places close. I hated seeing our Denny's close down but like you said "what are you gonna do"
i was there literally the day before it caught fire 😭 i miss it.
Awesome! They’re definitely permanently closed for sure!
Good video! Looks like it is closed up and abandoned now!
Closed forever due to fire in the kitchen? Pho king hell! Hehe! 😆😆😆
LOL!
It was thai palace before the pho king.
I want to explore PA ..you visit some awesome places.
WOW NO PHOKING WAYYYYY
I’ve always heard people pronounce Pho “Fuh” which means this was called “F*cking” as a joke
ayee just found this channel. im subbing.
Love that shed
I'm pretty sure that's what you call a tear down special
An awesome video, Wallie! It would be great if they could remodel the restaurant and reopen. Though, who knows, maybe the fire had done extensive damage and maybe the fire insurance company wasn't able to give them adequate coverage. I hope that I'm wrong on my assumption and they can reopen the restaurant. Take care, Alan.
Looks like an old Roy Roger's Beef Corral or an old Wagon Arbys
I should know because I lost my mom in a house fire on 7/29/2007 at 2:40Am
there is a place I don’t think you’ve done before there is a place near Walmart in chambersburg, PA I don’t remember what it called but I think it’s something like what you did in this video
This place was great
You do a great job. The place looks like it use to be a steak house
Food there was amazing. Sad it's closed.
It said on Siri it was permanently closed
Ouch
it's Pho King over
On any type of fire the power company have to turn off the power to any business or home
Having no power definitely means it's abandoned.
We used to have one in Springfield Ohio.
Across from upper valley mall.
It closed though.😢
Looked like a good place to eat
That was the second fire at that restaurant. I’m thinking they are done.
If they'd change the name, maybe it would be open, you know, *fokking* 😅
Cute
Oh no, I sure hope those poor abandoned plants are fake!
lol do you ever stay home. Your always out and about. lol 😂 😂
First
what i hard they are going to move downtown
Pho is pronounced “fuh” it’s a play on words 🤭😂
The windows look like pizza hut
