    Thanks for the video. How much were you charging, and did you I have the people prepay?

    • @savalascraftbarbecue
      @savalascraftbarbecue  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t remember I think like 9$ or 11$ a plate . I mostly did pre-orders and make
      A little bit more for same day buy because once people see the actual plates and you post it up on social media they start ordering more the people.

    How did you advertise your plates?

    • @savalascraftbarbecue
      @savalascraftbarbecue  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A little on Instagram but mostly on Facebook. When I first started around 2020 during pandemic a lot of people were supportive and we would do events where we would feed teachers for free to show love to our community. It gave us a chance to let people try our food and also help during a rough time. But I was always posting videos of my food on Facebook every week and people got curious they would try it and tell a friend and the word kept spreading.

      That's what's up. Congratulations on coming this far and I pray that you continue to flourish along your journey!
      Another question, you mentioned when you first got started you would feed teachers for free. How'd you manage to feed people for free when you were first getting started?

    • @savalascraftbarbecue
      @savalascraftbarbecue  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Theorytheorythesis good question, it’s kind of like any other fundraiser I’ve done, you tell people what you want to do and ask if anyone wants to sponsor you feeding whoever. A lot of people love to help especially for teachers, cops, firefighters, ems. But I think at first we came out of pocket bought 2 briskets and told one of my sons school that we have brisket sandwiches at this address to only teachers or staff and will be having them until sold out first come first serve. You can make your money and promote what you’re trying to do and whenever you receive all your collections you can then set a date for the free food for whoever you’re doing it for.

      So a small initial investment jump starts it all. Cool, thanks bro.
      You are an open book when it comes to this which is the reason why I subscribes to your channel.
      I appreciate the insight bro, much love👍🏾🤜🏾🤛🏾

      @@savalascraftbarbecue at only $8 a plate how did you manage to even make money on them? I’d go for $12 a plate at least. What was your profit margins at $8? I am thinking about doing this at my church for a fundraiser
