Jeep Cherokee 2005 and other years heater core hack in less than 15 minutes

Here is a heater core hack that I did on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I believe this works with 2005 to 2008. I am posting this video because I watched several videos with people cutting the dashboard all of this is a hack that you but never know that I was done. Please like share subscribe comment

Just drill out the spot welds then nut and bolt

i took your tips and other people and it turned out great instead of cutting the plastic dash there are only 4 screws that will loosen the dash to move to the side other than that i did the same cut the brackets and bent the metal to pull the core i used a cut off wheel and put it on a drill so easy

I know that short cut was for the 3rd. Gen grand cherokees. From years 2005-2011. I did my heatercore on my 2ed Gen wj 01 grand cherokee. Took me 15 hours and I needed a second person for the dash removal. Wasn't the hardest thing just very time consuming. Good to know ther cherokee has the short cut too!

Same here my 99 Limited and 02 Overland is a 2 day event. This "hack" works in the WK and Commander. At least jeep learned and put the heater core at the front on these models. Why the WJ's fave the passenger firewall is such a bad design.

Hell yea bra seen your video,did it,and cut those brackets out,made it so easy,alot better than breaking down the whole dash on an older jeep (2005) that I didn’t want to put that many hours into cause that ol’3.7 is a smoker . I call her lill Marlboro red,caus she’s a smoker 😅
