Another great tutorial, Victor. Thank you! I’ve taught graphics software and made tutorials for a long time (not Moho) and what makes your tutorials so good is you take an interesting but intermediate topic, like 360 turn, keep it simple, showing basic best-practices along the way. So it’s valuable not just to a more experienced user but newer users as well. Also for those of us who think we’re intermediate (me 😁), but say ‘OMG!!’ when you show something very basic that we never knew or never learned correctly.
MR.Victor paredes..... hats of you ...very detailed webinar.......never before i have seen such detailed videos..... thank you brother..........🙏🙏🙏🙏 from INDIA.
Thank you! I’ve trying to figure out how to do a 360 turn for so long, I’ve just been over complicating it! And thanks for telling us not to rotate bones in the rotation. Guilty on that one! So many unexplained “wonky legs”. 😂
How would you get back the pencil texture of the original concept design in the rig? Could you use a vector layer/group as a mask for a bitmap image? Thanks for the great webinar!
i hope visualizing complex masking setups in the editing window becomes more accurate in a future version, i know the workaround to preview it (ctrl+r) but it becomes tedious to do
Thanks a lot. But one question, when turning the body to the opposite side, you move the arm bones accordingly, but if the front arm is moved from left to right, the IK is not flipped and the arm is going to bend as it used to be. How would you correct that?
I would really like to see a video on how to animate a character, how to correctly place the keys on the timeline) for example, the character walks, jumps, turns around and goes the other way) well, in general, some elementary movements, thanks
En este caso el dibujo original fue hecho en papel, pero puedes usar cualquier software de dibujo. Moho puede importar muchos formatos de imagen, incluídos jpeg, png, tiff y archivos psd separados en capas.
Can anyone help? As I'm editing actions with my turns the bones aren't moving with the action like it shows in this video. all the points, layers and artwork move but the bones are staying in place. Has anyone ran into this issue. Thanks

@@mohoanimation thanks for the response. I figured it out. As I was working on a body turn with the action dial, I moved all the points first before adjusting the bones. So when I previewed the turn, the bones were not aligning to the body as it turned. Thanks for the discord link, I was searching on the lost marbles forum. I’m glad to see there’s a discord group. Again thanks for the response! l just purchased the Moho and I love it. This is the fourth animation program I’ve purchased and it’s the best so far and surprisingly more simple to learn and lot more functions than the others . Wish I knew about Moho sooner lol would have saved a lot of time, money and lost marbles! 😉
I tested this rotation and it worked. There is only one problem. When the rotation of the bone reaches the end, the movement does not continue and I have to go back the same movement that the bone did. For example, if the movement is at an angle of 0 to 360, there is no movement at 370 degrees and I have to go back to 0 degrees . how can i fix this?i think i should copy paste it🌹
When i turn the head turn and body turn all the way they stop and i cant keep turning them i have to unturn them ifs like a one way turn does anyone know how to keep turning fhe characters
No that’s a bit too complex for the bone system. The bone only records by what you put in it. So if you yourself didn’t finish the whole turn, it won’t go further than what’s in it. So really in theory, just turn the switch all the way back to create the illusion of a full body turn. That’s what we gotta do as animators anyways. After all, this isn’t 3d modeling where that is not an issue.
@TheLuconic thanks for the explanation a work around I found is if you do need an infinite loop you could put a setting that let's yiy keep looping and it looks like it's turning over and over i kinda forgot what it's called
Maybe thaats good for small interactions, it would interfere with the lip syncing and other features. For a main character is better to make one whole side with switch layers of the head and body. Am I right?
@@DL-jn3qs Do the bones have strenght different to zero? Be sure the layer (or any group containing it) is not bound to a bone. Try also selecting the layer and going to the menu Draw -> Reset all bone rigging. For questions like this, we recommend you to join our forum and Discord server
Higher versions, like 14 or above, have features that can help to create body turns in an easier and faster way. However, you can still do it on 13.5 and even 12.

This is great. I never thought we can rotate our character with this method. Thank you Victor Parades

thank you bro for this tutorial, very useful for beginners
A great webinar as usual.
@37:28 oh wow this bone Pointing as a head turn is really smart, i usually just create 90 and -90 degree and it's confusing, thank you
Awesome....this is much better than harmony....

Always want this type of tutorial...
There are very few resources about moho..
Like 360° rotation

can you do this video with moho 14? the settings that you used is not exactly the same in moho 14

I use link bonds to layer (ctrl+shift+F) in version 14, but I can't link layers and skeletons What's wrong with you? ㅠㅠ
