Godness me, is that Lange magnificent ! Mechanical, architectural and stylistic marvel ! And those macro shots... Dazzling !!! Just... what was it you were talking about?
A. Lange & Söhne: for me the equivalent of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani, and Aston Martin all rolled into one among watchmakers. The ultimate dream watches with supreme sophistication and beauty, nothing tasteless and no expense spared. Thank you Watchfinder & Co. for these superb videos, they both inspire, delight, and to an extent frustrate in that like the aforementioned supercars I can't afford an A. Lange & Söhne!
The kerning on made in germany is horrible on this watch, the lines of all the circles are crossing randomly at different angles making lines merge and it’s really unaesthetic. Also the map is isn’t well scaled and doesn’t make much sense the way it’s presented. As far as A Lange & Sohne go this is not good.
@Superluminal Just because it escapes earth's orbit doesn't mean it exits the solar system...Sun's gravity will look after the rest. Solar system is big!
I think his descriptions of Earth/Moon orbits and phases was not that clear, and may leave some thinking they understand the subject better than they actually do. Also, what exactly were the 3 things I didn't know about the moon?
This watch is stunning and magnificent! I have heard that in some night skies, Snoopy can be seen orbiting the moon over a 14 second period! Merry Christmas!
Amazing video and great knowledge. You and I love Lange. But I would love to see them vs, the top 3. In a ‘who’s the best’ face off. AP , VC and PP I really feel might struggle. You would have to choose their most sold model as opposed to the ones they each put on a pedestal.
This was awesome, it felt like a science lesson when the TV cart got rolled into class. So cool that A. Lange & Söhne is on board with the channel now.
I am very curious about where you got the idea we would lose the moon? The outward drift is caused by an exchange of angular momentum caused by the tides. As the moon moves away the tides get weaker and so the drift slows down. Eventually the moon will reach a point where it is locked to the earth with it's orbit being one day (which will be about 47 days at that point) and the moon will appear stationary in the sky. At this point the drift will stop. Although this will be after the sun enters the red giant phase so that could change everything if it expands to engulf the earth. I have not seen any theories where the moon escapes the earth and can't think of a mechanism which would allow that
You gotta be fu**** kidding me. I have dreamt of a moonphase showing the actual phases like this. I've just realized I didn't hear a thing he said, I was so captivated by the watch. The Swiss can have their trinity. A. Lange und Sohne, you stand alone at the top.
Wishing all of you at Watchfinder & Co. a very happy Christmas, and Mr Talking Hands, thanks for bringing a lot of light relief into an otherwise rotten 2020 🙏🏻
Awesome video...i was half hoping to give audible gasp and an: "ohhh..WOW" with a lumed stars surprise...alas..ill have to wait for a review of one the latest Bovet pieces😍 The Lange is magnificent as usual
Woaw, Absolutely stunning. You should really consider changing the channel name to "Watch porn & Co.". Oh, and also considering making your video in 4K and 1440p, so we can enjoy it even more.
I've always wondered how hard it is to accurately set these grand complication watches back to action if you ever let them run out of charge, must be a pain in the ass :)
I m so intrigued by the background music anyone could help me with title of it... And you sir... You are gifted one... The voice, The words and The magic ..
Thank you so much Watchfinder for listening to my comments/prayers about bringing the Terraluna😍😍 Love you guys!!🥰 A bit more on the watch itself rather than the Moon would've been great though.
An eloquent description of our relationship with the moon. In yogic sciences, the phase of the moon is believed to have an impact on our life forces, however subtle that it may be. We need to hone the sensitivity our perceptions to such a fine degree to appreciate it. A.Lange & Söhne here is for sure depicting this cycle at a very fine level mechanical possible on a gadget of this dimensions. For sure a commendable piece of engineering.
MERRY CHRISTMAS..🎈🎈🎈🎊🎊🎉🎉🎈🎊 COULD YOU PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON HOLY TRINITY OF WATCHES...HOW ON EARTH THEY ACHIEVED THAT COVETED DISTINCTION, WHILE BREGUET, JAEGER, LANGE ARE FLYING UNDER THE RADAR....🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Have been observing and taking a few Phots. Of the Moon over the last few evenings using my telescope.Very enjoyable lecture on the Moon oh ! And the watch was pretty good as well.
Interesting presentation! Per www.stardate.org ... "The Moon has phases because it orbits Earth, which causes the portion we see illuminated to change. The Moon takes 27.3 days to orbit Earth, but the lunar phase cycle (from new Moon to new Moon) is 29.5 days. The Moon spends the extra 2.2 days "catching up" because Earth travels about 45 million miles around the Sun during the time the Moon completes one orbit around Earth." Many Grandmother and Grandfather clocks show moon phases with "29.5" printed usually on the lower right side of the moon phase window.
I don't know what kind of moon you photographed but the Moon definitely isn't red. Even when using a technique called "mineral moon" that allows to boost the saturation of the photo to bring out different elements on the lunar surface the color is mostly greyish, with splotches of blue and orange. The amount of light that comes from the Earth's atmosphere is minimal compared to the light coming directly from the Sun and is not nearly enough to skew the color even a little. The only time you can see a red Moon is during a lunar eclipse because it is ONLY illuminated by light scattered by Earth's atmosphere and not directly by the Sun

I find it a bit hard to keep track of what he's saying without losing my mind over how beautiful this movement is
What a marvelous video. Perfect watch and excellent explanation 🌒🌎

Koenigsegg comes to mind.
Move over Sagan & Tyson! I now get my astronomy facts from A. Lange & Söhne.
That’s a lot of physics explained well without the use of diagrams.

Have you seen the omega speed master version?
This guy should narrate a romance novel
Or a documentary, or basically anything.
He does, several times a week. Watch romance.
Our eyes met, our hands touched, then she whispered in my ear "dude, your tourbillon totally rules"
@@jayebirdjb7143 lol I love it!
Bro. This IS romance

Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 Watchfinder and Co. Thank you for the great videos
There will come a day when ALS will be bigger than PP and Rolex. And this channel will have played a great role in it.
Well, I don't hope so but if that happens, they could thank Richemont since it owns both of them.
@@sushimshah2896 both PP and Rolex? I think not
Shhhh I can’t afford one right now let alone when everyone else cottons on.
@@sushimshah2896 Richemont doesn't own PP or Rolex.
That day has already come. Rolex doesn't even come close to a PP, let alone an ALS. If not for East Germany, ALS would be as known as a PP.
Beautifully narrated and highly educational....exceptional video...as always..Thank You
This video is just mesmerizing. The fact that you barely talked about the watch and still managed to captivate is is just fascinating.
Very impressive scientific yet straightforward description of how light works and our symbiotic relationship with the moon.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!
And please remember it is a birthday celebration. 😊
You forgot to mention CHRIST.
This journey was the best start for Christmas morning. Wishing you all the best
I want this watch , merry Christmas watch fans I hope Father Christmas brings you the watch of your dreams , 💀
My dream watch is a reverso . But it will stay a dream forever
I don't know if father Christmas can afford a Datograph perpetual tourbillion with a salmon dial.
Merry Christmas, stay safe 🙏🏻
Yes he did, I got an Rolex Explorer 1. So so chuffed. Beautiful and stunning watch.
Well I didn’t get the watch , I got a fish tank , I’m happy 👍
Those of us in the Southern Hemisphere will have to stick with just looking up at night. Like savages.
It’s a cheaper solution and it never fails 😉
Hahahahaha. Bravo!

Merry Christmas from me to the team at Watchfinder & Co! Love the videos and I look forward to your content in 2021!
A true masterpiece!
Thanks Watchfinder.
This watch is the best & most beautiful watch which has been made ever.
Amazing as always, respect for the work (or pleasure) you do. Merry Christmas.

Watch first.
Merry Christmas!
I listened "has its demonstrated by the Terraluna..." so may times I started to wonder if the watch had a PHd in astrophysics!
A. Lange Söhne is god tier... my lord...
best watch designers in the world right up there with the best patek and breguet. stunning.

While I agree that theoretically the Moon won't escape it's orbit, it's still basically predicting the future & you can't always count on it.
I was happy with my moon phase watch. Now I have Lunarium envy... To compliment my A. Lange & Söhne craving.
I thought it was a review of the watch, until I re-read the title.
Love it. But where’s Australia?
I’ll be staring at the moon and scratching my chin a bit longer than usual tonight. A fascinating video. Thank you.
Merry Christmas bro, glad you uploaded one on Christmas to watch
So great to see Watchfinder go from a few thousand subs to now. Keep it up :)
I thought this was a watch channel not astronomy but you are good at that also 😃🔥🥰
Quelle beauté ! La plus belle montre jamais produite par A. Lange & Söhne, à mon humble avis.
Un superbe cadeau de Noël !
Merci Watchfinder !

I absolutely love this design.
I now have a new vision of the most perfect wrist watch ever made, thanks to you folks. I love my Vacheron, but this creation, WoW.

This is the best Channel on TH-cam. But that video was your peak. I’m so exited how you try to top this in 2021.

What an impressive watch.
This just became my new grail.
Sold my Explorer to watch finder this year. Quick service and a good price.
I’ve always questioned (still am) the whole idea of seriously expensive watches. But this ALS piece makes me hesitate.
I should have become now a little smarter. Hard to tell, when at the same time I fell in love with this watch. Excellent content!
