  • Is The CHANGAN CS15 The Best Value Subcompact SUV? [Car Feature]
The 2024 Changan CS15 is the newest SUV in Changan Auto Philippines line up and it is meant to be a car for first time buyers. In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the Changan CS15 just to see what it has to offer. The Changan CS 15 goes head to head against the Toyota Raize and the Chery Tiggo 2 Pro, which are the only contenders for below P800,000 pesos. The Changan CS15 is better equipped and also has more power then the other contenders, making it a viable choice for the segment. The Changan CS 15 is sold in south America as well and is now sold here in the Philippines.

Klaus Zyciora is the new head of Changan Global Design (Former Volkswagen), that's why their cars look darn good.

Nice looking car and a reasonable price point. One concern is the after sales service, car robustness, car reliability. You pay for what you get.

This is better than Toyota Raize and other subcompact Crossover. But the Raize is ahead because of Resale value and availability of spare parts plus Toyota bulletproof reputation.

looks like a lifted hatch, personally I dont dig this super small SUVs, feels forced just to get into the cross over market, okay yung disk brakes and 17s rims, panget ng instrument cluster, dapat ginawa nalang analog, it will age like milk, parang medyo masikip din siya, I feel like pinakamain selling point nalang ng chinese cars ngayon ang yung "soft touch materials" which does not matter

This looks way better than the Raize but for my situation,.if I buy a car, I keep it around 10 years or more. So I'd still go with the Raize due to its parts availability.
However if you plan to change cars every 3 to 5 yrs or this comes as a car plan for your job, I'd go for.this

Just my own perspevtice guys, dapat di na natin pini feature anything na made in china. Lets help the government fight them back by reducing or even eradicating our dependability of chinese products if possible. Lets set aside our own interest for the good of our country. Im sorry if many of you find this comment offensive buts my own little way of helping our country.

boblax ka. first of all, competition fuels innovation. and Chinese cars are so good in terms of quality. dapat finifeature pa din sila dahil it’s good for the economy na mas maraming choices ang tao. and Chinese cars ang nagfoforce sa mga competitors to include features that they would not otherwise include had it not been for the Chinese automakers’ implementation of those. so bitter ka lang sa mga chekwa palibhasa ikaw yung old school na Toyota lang siguro alam. bobacious ka meron ka pa nalalaman na good for the goverment, eh nahbebenefit ang goverment sa import tax and business ng mga Chinese automakers. eww tenge leng 😘

I admire your desire to contribute but its getting harder and harder to ignore them. I recently tried to get a Toyota Zenix because of the same purpose to boycott Chinese cars but got disappointed. SRP was 1.9m, dealerships told me that in order for me to be put on the prio list I need to pay 2.3m. An additional 400k just to get “prio”? No thanks. I got Chery’s Tiggo 8 Pro instead for 1.7m.
I don’t condone what the Chinese govt are doing. But if the other manufacturers dont step up their game these Chinese cars will continue to gain traction.
