félicitations pour cette vidéo monstrueuse avec ce boss épique !!! et je me suis bien marré à voir tes réactions en découvrant le boss au fur et à mesure. merci beaucoup pour ce moment !!! 😂
Quick tip for those that may not know, and someone may have already said it previously, but when Sister Freide goes invisible like that, if you immediately run toward her and are initially close enough to catch her before she jumps you can bring her back from invisibility and use her charge up as a good way to get a couple free hits and interrupt her attack
God damn like I'm surprised you beat that solo, but I'm also surprised you didn't catch onto things. 1: When she goes invisible especially in the first phase that's easy hits, just get within close proximity so she'll be revealed she usually just stays in stance allowing hits. 2: Unless you want life to suck summon Gael, that man......I love that man. Either way you did it solo and that's pretty unbelievable...I had to do it with Gael and a friend, took us.....well, a long, long.....long time. Here's to those who went through the DLC underlevel cause they're either brave or stupid. > Sadness Ahead.
I basically cried during the third phase because lets be honest, no one expected it. Once I got the salt out of my system, I got immediately grabbed, executed, and just like that, the magic was done. I broke my remote, and I have yet to touch that boss seeing as I'm down my remote because fuuuuck PC controls. It also took me 3 hours to get to the third phase, so my salt was already beyond comprehension.
As I see it, the problem with fighting Sister Friede is that when she goes invisible and is preparing to slice the player open, she becomes visible for merely *about* half a second before she strikes. Really seems like an artificial way of catching the player off guard. It's kind of funny watching people get surprised by that attack, but it is also borderline unfair.
Better strategy when she does the invisible jump to the other side of the room is to charge her where she lands, and attack her. the hook and slam with the scythe is probably her most annoying move until you know how to get her before she does it. Also, you can bring Gael (he turns up for the second phase), he distracts Friede while you kill Father Ariandel. I'd say it's the recommended method for that phase. Although, since its been so long you probably know this now.
For any noobie having a hard time with this boss because of her invisible hit, when she goes invisible, pay attention to the dust she kicks up when she strides or if you do not see dust stride and you just see the dust go straight up that means she is behind you. IF you see teh dust go right that means she strided left, and if you see the dust go left that means she is right. look if you see boxes being broken, that means she is right there and she will not move until she does her attack, which takes like 5 seconds to charge, as soon as you hit her it stun locks her out of her invisible attack and she goes back to being visible.
"She's so much easier to kill than big bowl guy" -says he without having actually tried to hit the bowl guy even once. (he's actually easier to damage than she is, and they share the same lifebar)
I didn't beat the third phase yet, at least not in my own world, but this is perhaps my favorite boss so far. All my life I've been conditioned to dodge the attack of the boss, then do a thing, then damage the boss, and repeat it three times (or 50 something, in the case of a souls game). But she doesn't have an attacking and a vulnerable phase. In the third phase, she is always attacking, and always vulnerable. You don't wait for the opportunity. You steal the opportunity in between two dodges. And every time you succeed, your heart starts to race from the taste of blood in your mouth, and you start to crave more.
Just when you think by now you know all the game's mechanics from DS1 to DS3, you are given a 3-stage bossfight that hits like a truck in all those phases... and right when you start asking yourself wildly "why" and try to find new names to describe how unfair this is, it is then you remember that you play Dark Souls...
Tbh I know you probably know now but incase you wanted to run through DLC on NG+ when she goes invisible and jumps away she'll either break the chairs or you'll see a little poof of snow from where she landed and when you go up to her she'll be visible again and she'll be winding up her attack (depending on how long you take to find her and make her visible) and you can either get a couple free hits or a backstab (which she's weak to) Either way great video man! You've earner yourself a loyal subscriber :)
it's funny how bricky is seemingly never tilted by games of lol or dead by daylight or overwatch but gets super salty by playing dark souls even to the point where he wants to bash is table and stuff :D
I feel that Friede was not actually that difficult of a boss, it was just that it is much, much harder than the rest of the DLC and is completely out of the ordinary, which caught me and most likely most people off guard, which is probably the main reason for all the salt.
@@RobinLundqvist oh my bad, i thought you were talking first run, i beat him first try on first run but ng+7 it took me 100+ tries like JESUS. you right lmao ignore what i said earlier. why u have pepe picture? Trump Supporter?
Not only you see but you can hear, I see hundreds of players that wear headset and they can't determine where she is. I find it hilarious because she just sits there charging the attack...
Quintessential No, she goes invisible then you only have to hear or see where she lands, then rush to her and that's it. While she is charging she is locked in the animation, you can even backstab her with no problems.
When she goes invis you supposed to hit her before she does the grabattack. Also there is an npc summon here that only activates on phase 2 and you are so much expected to summon him that you can summon him even un embered.

*Clears throat*
GIT GUD
The song, the pain in Father`s heart and the anger in bricky`s voice all go so well, it makes this fight so fucking epic !
Oh and fun fact you can riposte the big guy, (forgot his name) you had the chance to do it twice actually :D
I also found you can parry friede (at least in first phase) but you have to be very brave (took me many unnecessary hits to find it).
Jack T i did it with the calamity ring :P
I basically cried during the third phase because lets be honest, no one expected it. Once I got the salt out of my system, I got immediately grabbed, executed, and just like that, the magic was done. I broke my remote, and I have yet to touch that boss seeing as I'm down my remote because fuuuuck PC controls. It also took me 3 hours to get to the third phase, so my salt was already beyond comprehension.
Look at the thumbnail of this video. Ask me that again.
I love how she appears right next to him after vanishing but he just runs away instead of attacking
i love so much that moment they realize there's 3 phases :3
As I see it, the problem with fighting Sister Friede is that when she goes invisible and is preparing to slice the player open, she becomes visible for merely *about* half a second before she strikes. Really seems like an artificial way of catching the player off guard. It's kind of funny watching people get surprised by that attack, but it is also borderline unfair.
i guess you could say he thought this boss was
bowl-shit
Better strategy when she does the invisible jump to the other side of the room is to charge her where she lands, and attack her. the hook and slam with the scythe is probably her most annoying move until you know how to get her before she does it.
Also, you can bring Gael (he turns up for the second phase), he distracts Friede while you kill Father Ariandel. I'd say it's the recommended method for that phase.
Although, since its been so long you probably know this now.
BTW: GO REMAKE HER SOUL INTO DUAL SCYTHES AND USE IT NOW!!!
I hope there's a 4 stage boss for the next DLC :^)
ANGERY DOGGO he has 2, and I think only 1 healthbar
@ANGERY DOGGO it is 3
Sekiro my man
"She's so much easier to kill than big bowl guy" -says he without having actually tried to hit the bowl guy even once. (he's actually easier to damage than she is, and they share the same lifebar)
Salt level 1006... wait wait.. I had my scout level up side down.. it’s over 9000.
1:37 to 1:41 Literally killed me cause he was thinking this boss should be easy but as she moved. he literally went serious mode Lmfao
That first time he made it to the third phase i died laughing😂😂😂
Tbh I know you probably know now but incase you wanted to run through DLC on NG+ when she goes invisible and jumps away she'll either break the chairs or you'll see a little poof of snow from where she landed and when you go up to her she'll be visible again and she'll be winding up her attack (depending on how long you take to find her and make her visible) and you can either get a couple free hits or a backstab (which she's weak to)
Either way great video man! You've earner yourself a loyal subscriber :)
it's funny how bricky is seemingly never tilted by games of lol or dead by daylight or overwatch but gets super salty by playing dark souls even to the point where he wants to bash is table and stuff :D
the expressions on Taylor's face as he got trolled continuously into believing that he was done with the fight just made me die laughing.
21:17 10:59 That is the reaction you guys looking for :}
it's so funny how he is raging at the first stage without realising there's a second and third. Lol
I feel that Friede was not actually that difficult of a boss, it was just that it is much, much harder than the rest of the DLC and is completely out of the ordinary, which caught me and most likely most people off guard, which is probably the main reason for all the salt.
stage three gave me salt.
This fight goes from 10 to 5 the moment you figure out the invisiblity mechanic
this is an awesome boss, super challenging (especially on NG+5) but soooo rewarding when you finally get through it
25:57 you know brickys pissed when his voice becomes satan
I'm crying rn trying to beat her in ng+7 I just want to beat the dlc dude
lol did u finish ng+7 i did :D
@R Jose yeah. killing the bosses on second DLC is a biiiitch though. Midir in particular was so difficult.
@@RobinLundqvist gael ez tho
@R Jose yeah if you use storytellers staff.... boi
@@RobinLundqvist oh my bad, i thought you were talking first run, i beat him first try on first run but ng+7 it took me 100+ tries like JESUS. you right lmao ignore what i said earlier. why u have pepe picture? Trump Supporter?
sister friede is pretty badass, specially that entrance
She was the 1st to enter the painting lol keep reading
*First Ashen One
*First Ash
*First
:)
The look on your face is priceless and your rage is so funny!!!! lmao Subscribed!
shes about sound triggers when u hear second one dodge immediately
Quintessential no, you see where she jumps to after the invis and hit her to cancel the cast and negate the need to dodge.
That seems better XP wasn't thinking that deep into it but i should have been since i play dark souls. Ty for the tip.
Not only you see but you can hear, I see hundreds of players that wear headset and they can't determine where she is. I find it hilarious because she just sits there charging the attack...
oh so u go to where she was and hit her b4 she attacks you Narcisspeed6?
Quintessential No, she goes invisible then you only have to hear or see where she lands, then rush to her and that's it. While she is charging she is locked in the animation, you can even backstab her with no problems.
Friede: this isn't even my last form!!!
She's so elegant and light on her feet though
*I want to be her... I want to consume her, allowing her power to take me over*
You´ve got the Freljord skin. As for the elegance...Git Gud.
YES! SHE IS THE MOST WONDERFUL FIGHTER
You talking about somebody beign better than Priscilla, buddy?
blizk24 beign
is not
a word
blizk24 You should double check
When she goes invis you supposed to hit her before she does the grabattack. Also there is an npc summon here that only activates on phase 2 and you are so much expected to summon him that you can summon him even un embered.
THE BOSS OF FIRE AND ICE!
wow, 3 fucking stages . . . . unreal
Its hard but I'm biased since I tackled this on NG+7 since I'm too lazy to make a save file.
I love how he pussyfoots around a boss that gets so easily stunlocked. It's hilarious
Friede is official my dark souls waifu.
But bro....
Dancer....pickle pee... Vordt...
Bro yuria master race
Lady Maria is mine
Bitch
You are a man of culture.
As soon as she gets invisible you just have to go after her ... she gets visible as soon as you get close to her and than you can interrupt her "drag"
