@Stephen Weston If people look back more than 50 years on monotone, idea-less shitholes like Cambridge and Paris and consider them architectural masterpieces, then you can be sure as hell that Hadid's work will be looked back on with nothing but fondness and awe.

My more than 40 years experience in architecture, made me very critical of even the best architects, but purely humbled and by Zaha and in awe of her great natural flair as an artist and an architect. While others tried to dictate what architecture is, Zaha ' broke the rules ' and in a way set us free.

It's indeed strange to talk about this brilliant female architect in the past tense, she died way before her time.
Love Vladislav Doronin’s residence house in the forest build by her project. Remember back in 2009 when we moved to our new office in Moscow City’s Capital City, there was a sketch of this project. It attracted a lot of attention and it was hard to believe it will ever be build without significant changes. Now the project is finished and it looks even more irregular and futuristic surrounded by real forest.

I really like the "Generali Tower" by Zaha Hadid in City Life district in Milan (Italy), I saw it under construction and it was really stunning :)

I am blessed to go to a univerity, she designed the library of (economy university of vienna). Its the only library you REALLY enjoy staying in

I love her design for the MAXXI museum in Rome, with its cantilevered exhibition space. It's the perfect environment for contemporary art.

For me, it's the Hungerburg funicular railway line stations in Innsbruck, Austria. It was one of her earlier projects. They are especially beautiful at night.

Ah finally the Museum 1000 building is complete, overlooking Biscayne Bay. It is a beautiful jewel on the sunkissed coast of Miami. Thank you Maestro Zaha Hadid, and for your creations, may your memory never die.
I saw an exhibition of her models and drawings for various built and proposed projects at the Guggenheim (took up the entirety of the spiral ramp). In a smaller gallery was an exhibition of drawings and early works of Jackson Pollock... two innovative people in their fields in one museum, it was quite a fascinating day at the museum.
She also pushed the boundaries of engineering and what building materials could do.

Zaha Hadid was truly a brilliant visionary, and my favorite architect of all time. One of my favorites is Leeza SOHO which at first seems deceptively simple but upon closer inspection is truly a remarkably inspired and elegant project.

What amazes me how an architect gets all the praise plenty can draw sculpturel pictures ,internal lay outs are impressive, but the skill is how do the people that make some of these structures do it some of it is crazy that's what amazes me ..
