I went on HMS Invincible when it visited NZ in the early 80's I love the SHAR ..a friend of mine was Tactical Radar Operator on HMS Invincible during the Falklands War he didn't know if he was going to live or die! ..and the pilot Ian Watson that made an emergency landing on a freighter ship in the Atlantic in a SHAR now lives lin Auckland he also flew FA-18 planes with the US Navy. .We have a GR3 Harrier in a museum here in NZ and I have an Airfix 1/48 GR3 Harrier.. thanks from NZ 👍🇳🇿✈️
Lovely clean result. I love the Harriers shape but the Sea Harrier FRS.1 is the most beautiful one for me. I was less than 30 metres away from two Harrier Gr.3 a taking off from a road and then landing vertically when I was on exercise in Germany once. An amazing experience 👍🏼. @@doctormig2709 I agree with you. Although there was the fear of nuclear war I don’t believe anyone in either camp believed that it would happen. To me it was living in Germany, driving big armour, massive exercises, good beer and cheap cigarettes! Although I know many people suffered because of ColdWar tensions there seemed to be more stability in the world then ! That’s just my experience and I’m sure many other people will have another point of view! But I did have a cool time in the late 1980’s that changed after the Berlin Wall came down and the former USSR states gained independence 😊

You can get it online.I love the harrier family.I have almost all versions in 72 scale.I lack several of the twin seaters and the FA2.Airfix makes the FA2 as well and that one is a must have for me.

I clean the parts on the inside from any fingerprints and residue.Use the smallest amount of superglue and sometimes dip the part in future to improove the shine.

I’ve built multiple harriers but I haven’t been able two find the this particular kit and I really wanna get it beautiful work btw 🍻

Thank you :) I mix drawing ink with water and liquid soap.Not an exact science though :D i dampen the toilrt paper with water to remove the excess

Try some other online shops.i find the Polish hobby shops to be the best ones online.
