- Well, Brooklyn finally wore me down haha - I Got My First Brazilian Wax OUCH ! One thing you may not know about me is, I'm a “no body hair” girly. Nothing against it, just a personal preference of mine. That means I shave almost every day. This time Brooklyn convinced me to let her wax my armpits and I got a Brazilian wax for the first time EVER! I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t this.

@@savinab2530 I always recommend laser hair removal over waxing. At least the pain will give you permanent results. Waxing is only temporary.
Literally!!! I’ve gone again after almost a year of not going and it was a bit scary but not as bad as I imagined lol 😂

I feel like I have to share my first experience:
Went in to get a Brazilian, there was a main area which was quiet and the beautician took me upstairs to the waxing room. We got started and my God it was PAINful! I could stop crying out and the beautician got half-way till I had to tell her to stop. After I managed to collect myself, we went back downstairs and the room was suddenly full of people and they heard EVERYTHING and were chuckling to themselves. I never felt more embarrassed or mortified! So, yeah, you're not the only Bailey who has been humbled by their first experience. Props to you!
Good job Bailey. Every time I go get a wax, I always have my arms crossed on top of my stomach so I don’t flail around. Lol it also helps if you breathe with the removal of the strips. I know that sounds so annoying, but it helps if you breathe in and then breathe out when they rip it off.
I’m an esthetician and I think the hardest part of waxing (or sugaring, what I do) for newbies is hearing the opinions of other people. Waxing is something you have to experience for yourself because everybody feels it differently. Pain is personal. I’ve had people come in rolling in pain, but I’ve also had people come in that when I pull the sugar off they’re like, ‘oh that didn’t hurt’. I think everyone should at least try it once. I’ll never go back to shaving.

Love sugaring! I have sensitive skin and HATE the redness/pain wax leaves
@@BhappyD it’s called sugar. It’s amazing! I’ve seen better results with it then I ever saw with wax. I highly recommend it!
Here to vouch for sugaring! To me it’s even less painful than waxing and better for your skin.
Honestly, sugaring is so much better than waxing. I just buy a tub from Amazon and do it myself. $25 for like 6 months. You get used to how it feels. Plus, clean up is much easier.
I just love how strong of a connection Brooklyn and Bailey have and how she doesn’t care that Brooklyn is looking down there and can see like everything down there because a lot of siblings and even twins don’t have that trust and like more privacy it’s just really cute how she doesn’t care because having a strong enough bond with you sibling or twin is a really nice thing to have

Fellow esthetician here, when I got waxed for the first time EVER! My Brazilian took almost 3 HOURS! And they had us tag team Brazilians so there were TWO people and it took that long 🫠 I am literally not phased by the pain anymore 😂

I epilate my underarms and I soooo recommend it. Its basically the same as waxing but waaaay more easy and mess free and cheaper in the long run. Better than waxing tho because you don’t have to wait 2 week for it to grow out, which IMO defeats the purpose of waxing if I have to be a hairy beast for weeks in the meantime.
Epilating is so much more painless and manageable after the first time when you epilate every other day or so.
What is epilating?
I epilate everything, love it! And love it also cause I'm private so no other eyes on me lol

I used to do that too. It is the best but so painful the first few times. It’s like a roller with a tonne of tweezers 😬
@@aixela3497You use a tool called an epilator, which essentially plucks out a lot of hair follicles at once. It’s sort of like waxing, as the hair is plucked with both wax or an epilator, but an epilator does it without the wax. Just look up epilators and/or epilator tutorials to see what they are and how they are used.
Some people think epilators are less painful than waxing, and some think epilators are more painful than waxing. It’s really just down to personal preference.

My first wax I asked for a bikini but there was miscommunication and got a FULL BRAZILIAN. The panic when I realized what was happening 😅
I've been getting it done for two years now. I'm a thick hair (down under) girly, and over the time I've noticed how much less hair I get over a month worth of growth, and the thickness is different. Also, maybe I'm just used to it now, but the pain for waxing is minimal now compared to the first time. I highly recommend for girls to try it at least once.
THIS - 100%! The first time waxing is uncomfortable, but all the other times it’s really easy to handle. And the bonus of lesser growth is really a benefit in my opinion.
How often do you do it?
@@H0oLIgAnSsRo0lMaRrSz When your hair starts to grow about 2 to 3 centimeters. You can let it grow a little more so that the hair removal is perfect. Normally it takes 1 to 2 weeks to grow and 1 full month for total hair growth. But it depends on each person.

I wax her and it’s not for the weak so I feel Bailey’s pain my first time was hilarious and painful but my waxer was the best. Love the results and after a few waxes it’s great and less painful. Cuddos to baily lasting as long as she did.

I had one done before....I didn't even flinch 😂😂😂😂😂😂. The girl doing my wax was genuinely surprised lmao. I've gone through worse pain in that area so I've learned to be strong about it. Not saying I didn't feel it by far lol. I've tried waxing myself, but I struggle lol. Probably because I don't have the right wax for that area
After Brooklyn pulls the strip, if she applies pressure on the area it helps it not hurt as bad and it hurts for shorter. I've been getting my braz for over 5 years now.
In currently in my laser hair removal era and I wish I would have done it SO much sooner. Less pain, much much faster of a process, minimal treatments. Just a little more dough but so worth it to have a near lifetime without body hair! 🎉
I do a full Brazilian. Front and back. I don’t think it hurts 🤷🏻♀️ my hair has thinned and isn’t as full(?) I actually have my appointment tonight at 8:30pm, it’s 7:17pm

I usually don't do much down under,, but I have attempted waxing a couple times (only for "clean up" not a full Brazilian).
The best tip I can give you,, the longer the hair,, the more it pulls on the skin and the more painful it is. Try to make it so you have just enough length for the wax to be able to grip on the hair,, but not so long that it pulls on the skin as it can cause bruising and bl33ding.

Some hopefully helpful advice from a regular waxer.
1)before the strip is pulled inhale and then as the strip is pulled blow out. It helps immensely! Yea you know it is happening but you are focused on breathing out. It works so well it is a technique during labor just FYI.
2)if Brooklyn covers the part she just waxed with her hand and apply some pressure it helps with the sting after. Of course she can’t do this in all areas.
3)if you can make it through the front of the Brazilian the back is literally a walk in the park and the easiest and the part just makes me feel so clean after.
4)your first wax is always the most painful. If you continue to wax every 4-6weeks it becomes less painful due to less hair and isn’t as painful as the first time.
Words of encouragement everyone sweats when they are waxed. It is the natural response of the body. Even after years of waxing I still sweat some times more than others. I hope you give it a second try. Keep us posted 😄

I can sympathize with Bailey. I got a Brazilian one time and never again. What helped was when she ripped the strip off she immediately put pressure on it.
I've been waxing since early teenage year and STILL I scream like a baby and jump while waxing. And for the brazilian : I ended up stopping the wax to shave and recently I did lazer, which changed my life forever !!!

I do both and doing my down under after shaving IT'S SO BAD, but I use sugar wax down under tho, it's SO MUCH more gentle :D I was SO NERVES before my first time, BUT it was not so bad as many have told me. it is more unpleasant than painful

I never tried actual waxing, I went straight to sugaring which is very similar- It hurts a ton but it’s worth it for swimsuit season!
