I think it great to see someone doing the gap creek run at under 100 CFS. Two summers ago, I led a crew of co guides down at 60 CFS. It was wild to see pre falls and verde falls while un runnable. I would love to compare stories sometime.
Great video. I really had to look at the rapids to even recognize them at that level. Also not sure how I had gone this far in my life without hearing that Maynard song. Perfect!
Always bring quality cameras and find good spots down river. At every technical rapid you can. That way you can get lots of good pictures of the less skilled. Glad you all had fun. I have boated those flows and they make for some nasty rock gardens.
Looking st doing this next spring. Is the cfs of this video considered low at this time of year (mid April). I have sit on kayaks not inflatable. It looks like they'd take a beating with as rocky as this looks.
+Joshua Hawks What day are you leaving? We're doing the same stretch as the video again starting 4/4...I couldn't get everyone to take enough time off to do the full thing. Water levels seem to be holding somewhat...fingers crossed!! Hopefully better than last year
I've never used them before...but saw a sign last year at Beasley advertising shuttle services. Don't know if they go all the way to Horseshoe, but it's worth a call. 928-821-0514...Good luck!!

We will be on the river 3/25 - 3/28. The lake is full so the last 4 hours will be mind numbing.
I love you KRISTI
I like the low water. Thanks.
Nice video. Quick question if you will... I'm trying to plan a Beasley to Horseshoe run and am wondering about shuttles. Any thoughts?
