Your the guy that hiked the AT last year and was in Maine when it hit -25 last year. You passed over Bigelow when I was in my cabin in Eustis. That was a rough couple of weeks to be out there. Good go of it bro

I was definitely living vicariously through your video here! I’ve been backpacking since 2018 but have never done any winter trips outside of day time XC skiing. Those view at 6:30 though.. Makes me all the more excited to start building up my winter gear.

It's almost as if you have landed on a faraway moon and are taking a lunar walk. I am enjoying this so much! Thanks Scott!

I used to do this to catch a bus 5 days a week growing up in Algonquin.
You kids have it easy.:P Seriously why no sled for the packs?

I didn’t think I had enough stuff for a sled. Also, planned to go over the peaks.

Awesome. Curious what were temps?? I just got back from overnight in Pharoah Lake Wilderness area and the temps hit 15 below 0. This was great though!! Nice job!!

Thanks! On this trip I believe the lows at camp were around 0! Pharaoh is great. Sounds like a blast.

That was hard core backpacking over the two highest peaks in the state in full winter conditions. Loved it!
