The Dropper as entrance is actually cool

I love these videos of playing both old classic maps and new ones. I missed the simplicity of playing cool maps, now with the showcase of even more amazing talent of the map makers

The backrooms is actually an interesting story. I'm just sad that people just know it from the memes not the story :
I learned its existence from memes and, a while after, learning most of the lore of all the levels while making a game about it. I did pick up some lore between that.
For example, I believe Level 0 never had that code lock. Also, they missed an area where the scientists were hanging out that's 'safe' from the rest of the backrooms (or Knarfy never found it). Walking backwards after assembly of a note wasn't part of it, I believe.

1:39 YOU LOOKED RIGHT AT THE 3RD DIGIT AND STILL MISSED IT. Also I suggest reading up on the backrooms wiki. The backrooms is it's own thing, the creators' phobia of secret pools isn't real. Their just making it according to lore (and not doing well at it).

Hey Knarfy! The pools are a backrooms thing so other horror maps that aren’t directly in correlation with the backrooms are just using it as a horror value
The fact that at the end, the replay of the beginning was the exact same tracking is cool.
1:09 I think i know how they did that effect, its the teleport command, to where it'll tp you to another location to the hundredth coordinate, but in a different location. so that it looks like its a portal or a glitch
Knarfy, you should totally try this with systemzee if possible! There was some goofy moments here, and i could totally imagine the chaos with Systemzee added with this 😂

The map reminds me a lot of Escape the Backrooms, especially the garage segment with the smilers

Did you know that only 70% of smilers are actually subsmiled? Please do Knarfy a big favor by subsmiling. (LOL he forgor to do it in the vid so I did it for him)
Fun facts on the backrooms because I’m hyper fixated on it:
1. Only the archived level 0 has entities
2. Backrooms levels are not actually toxic, so technically you don’t actually need a hazmat suit for every level
3. Those entities on that second level (smilers) actually don’t have a confirmed body.They also stalk their prey for a bit before actually killing it
4. That darker portion of the poolrooms is officially called the danger zone
5. That yellow entity in the poolrooms is called a partygoer.They reside on level fun of the backrooms and don’t normally travel to levels far from their home level, so it would be very rare to see a partygoer in the poolrooms
6. Noclipping (or teleporting through levels) can sometimes happen at random and you could literally just fall through the floor
7. That partygoer should’ve killed him because actually hunt in packs and can set up traps and noclip at will
8. The water in the poolrooms isn’t actually toxic.
9. The safe zone of the poolrooms restores sanity and the danger zone drains sanity
10. The end level is a trap level and is a loop
11. Levels actually don’t require codes to escape
12. Almond water restores sanity
13. There actually isn’t any normal water in the backrooms
14. At the end of the video, he most likely went insane from not drinking any almond water to restore his sanity
15. The group that explores the backrooms and actually has hazmat suits is called M.E.G

I swear to god that I saw the poolroom area in my dream. it kinda terrifies me
yeah, like a month before i first discovered the backrooms, I had a dream about infinite hallways, liminal spaces, giant sandcastles, a windmill made of sand, and that theater place with ashes on the floor from Kane Pixel's found footage. Tl;DR: had a surreal dream about the backrooms, before even knowing what they were.

I'm pretty sure they use so many pools coz its easier to create tiles that look the same without much details and Minecraft shaders already made Minecraft water look real so its easier to create white and detailess poolrooms
