You know, for the amount of times you’ve made Minecraft into essentially a completely different game, I’m truly surprised Mojang hasn’t hired or at least commissioned you yet. Yes that’s an overused compliment, but your skills are phenomenal. I’ve seen entire teams of people do much less work than you do in each of your videos, in a longer period than your upload schedule. So that goes to show how much genuine, nose to the grindstone effort you put in to each one. On that note, thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. They’re always incredibly entertaining to watch.

@@Flam_Is_Cool I think it would be cool if it was a warden with less range. That way you could scan to see where it is and avoid it. Maybe sculk sensors would be fairly common and a different colour when scanned, which would require you to be extra careful.
Nahh that would make it annoying since wardens would kinda one shot you,and it's almost impossible to outrun them. And on a map like this with very low idea of where's what,it's kinda impossible to run away from the warden

This is some really neat coding work! 7:30 It's cool that you disabled movement... but why _did_ you go through that effort? The original Scanner Sombre let you screw up the pattern of the sweep by moving around, and that worked fine. :P
plus, most Scanner Sombre-related games still allow movement, but they just slow the player down to a very slow speed. Fundy could've just given the player the slowness effect or something

i feel like the sweep-scan might've been better if it were also randomly displaced so it wasn't just making bar-lines; just side to side probably since it does go vertical, but still displaced that way. the mod is absolutely fantastic with lots of possibility, and if it were possible to implement noise-making like broken glass on the ground it could be possible to use a warden to truly lean into the sound-following monster aspect (notably though i do not know how difficult it'd be to do either of those things since i haven't learned coding; these're suggestions of a dreamer :P)
From memory, the original gmod mod does have something like this, there is a setting to shoot out the rays in a cone you can resize with the scroll wheel.

Are you able to code a mobile phone? Now, you could technically do the same thing as you did with the computer using blocks to build one big device but, no, no, no. That's stinky and we don't want that. Besides, where's the tortu- I mean, 'fun' in that? See, the main thing about a mobile phone is that it is mobile. That means that one should be able to carry it around. But my terrible idea doesn't stop there. Making a mobile phone is more difficult than making a computer since a phone has a touch screen instead of a keyboard which has all kinds of fancy buttons. What that means, is that the player can only use the phone via the mouse because it controls the arm/hand of your character. Isn't that just lovely? Have fun. :) Oh, what's this? This is awesome! I actually had an idea for a mod like this (and I think even commented on one of your videos about it a while ago) except it was more like echolocation and based on sound (so each footsteps would produce a wave to show you what's around but it would fade quickly afterwards). But it's so cool to see a version of it in action! I've been a fan of Scanner Sombre since I watched Markiplier play it years ago!
It would be so cool to have this added to a modpack so it can like, generate a lightless dungeon, and you have to use the other mods to craft a lidar so you can explore it.
