My 300 has every surface epoxied. Fuselage broke in half, Wings snapped and now permanently epoxied in, nose smashed in. It fly's absolutely great. Strait and level even inverted. Out of my 18 planes it is my favorite to fly and always goes to the filed with me. I purchased all new parts and have them still in the box. I have enough parts to build a completely new plane. Thanks for the video....
Thanks for the cool vid! I have both of these planes. The 300 is down for paint, and the 330 is brand new. It is getting a coat(s) of polycrylic before I fly it. I have a few questions if you don't mind: 1. Where did you get that landing gear on the 300? The factory is junk. 2. Beautiful paint job on the 300! How did you get that nice shine? 3. I assume you have flown them both. Any radical difference? 4. I had an experienced pilot help me set up my 300. We tamed it so I could handle it. All thar said, I was thinking I could set up the 330 mechanically like the 300, and was wondering if the transmitter setup was pretty much the same? Thanks!
Point of interest. The motor back plate has 4 mounting holes, you'd expect them to be symmetrical, they're not, 2 holes are slightly wider. I guess this has been done on purpose so you have to buy oem. Bizarrely the motor back plate from FMS Edge540 is identical- so fits the Extra. Helpful to know if you have trouble sourcing either
