I am trying to stay away from the bigger planes for a few reasons. That being said, you make this look REALLY enticing! Thanks for sharing Ryan.
HI RYAN I'VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING THIS FLIGHT. THANKS FOR SHARING SIR 🇬🇧🇺🇲✌🏼🤩
Love it Dude! I ain’t mad at having to work out a good looking landing! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful..of course, its a Timber!❤
The Dubro tires are great. I run them on my Piper cub.
Smooth review of a super smooth aircraft!
Excellent shakedown PRM. PRM ain't afraid of no shipping container.
I got mine yesterday in the mail and flew it. And oh my God, I love this thing so much.
Thinking about children?
Ryan fantastic flying, I really like the Super T. I like the 6s 4000. Getting 11 minutes on timer counting over 25% throttle. Jeff in LA USA
Great going Ryan I love the color scheme
Awesome flying! Looks like a fun plane.
I love it!
a nice look at the big Timber ! thanks...😎
Looks like a real floater.
Awesome flight, Pilot Ryan! Thanks man-o-chevitz!! 👍
Nice to see a real shakedown again. Nice 👍🏼
More to come!
Nice flying Ryan 👌 👍🏻
I see that goal post...its covered in foam magnets isnt it?
Great review guys! Nice camera work Kirk!!!
Awesome thank you!
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice
Thanks man!
Beautiful but sadly, no where to fly something this massive around me!
to many mornings in the US Navy to ever think "sick" could be a good thing :)
What was the purposes of trimming the throttle to keep the prop spinning. I've never seen anyone do that
DOES IT HAVE REVERSE THRUST?
Hell yeah, it does 👍
SAFE does require airspeed or propwash to have effective control..SAFE landing limits the nose up angle, I set max throw for grass, low or mid for holding flare angle rock solid after roundoout, when holding off..on pavement
Hey Ryan, is this okay as a 2nd plane or is Evolution better? Thank you, Anthony
Evolution
The evolution was my first plane. I can’t recommend it enough. It would be much more manageable, and you can still use 3S batteries, or swap in 4S when you’re ready for more power.
Nice review Ryan, I put ten flights on mine yesterday. Love it and love getting it dialed in. Come in low with flaps and about 7% throttle awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the tip!
DITTO! I hadn't seen your comment yet!
@@PilotRyanMediaThink soft field/snow/float.. power through extended ground effect stall, drag 3 pt attitude, tail sticking and stabilizing..don't let it come to sudden deceleration..😄👍
That Grissom grass is no joke
Did you read the manual?
Did 6 flights and the maiden yesterday on 4k 6s. Taxiing back from the final flight the entire plastic undercarriage, gear and tires separated cleanly from the fuse! The tires and undercarriage flopped forward and one tire was sliced open by the prop.Everything has been solidly reattached with slo epoxy. 5”” foam tires are coming from Amazon. I have also replaced the tires with foamies on my Motion RC Bison that also came with inflatable tires. Plane is definitely a keeper.
So, Normal use and it fell apart?
Which foam tires did you order? I like the inflatable tires, but I can see using them on a regular basis.
The manual PLAINLY states the min air pressure (tire diameter) required. The tires in this vid were no where near the minimum.
👍🏼🆙🆙⬆️👍🏼
The stock tires are bouncy pieces of junk. You shouldn’t have to carry speed on a STOL plane to keep it from bouncing.
for the love of God, dont describe something as "sick"
What a bunch of bullshit
it's E-flite, not Eflite
FULL FLAP FLOP!
GOTTA KEEP POWER & 3PT STICK TO STOMACH ON THE SOFT! *KEEP IT TAXI'ING!!
Is that Crazy Aces on the camera??!!!
Did your flare up when landing?
Nice demo! Regarding grass landings - have you tried doing full-stall, power-on 3-pointers with the batt moved back to the neutral-handling point? I've found that doing power-on 3-pointers with the elevator stick all the way back at touchdown results in the best landings with my taildraggers & allows me to do a full up-elevator rollout in fairly thick grass without nosing-over.
