I put on 15, 500ft rolls of tape in 3 hours with the Bazooka. We where working on a Hotel 3 floors 69,000 foot of rock per floor. That was my flame to fame back in the day.
Angles in paper and taping compound, then flats and buts in 60min and fiber fuse. One wash for the auto taper and pump followed by a 5.5 box that is scraped not followed and the job is ready to top by lunch no shrink lines in the tape
@@maxnoble523 figured it out. Lol. We don't do that in canada, we do tight joints, mudded square, and then paint. Sometimes customers ask for "coving" which we call crown molding which we install after that. Wasn't familiar with the process in Australia. 👍🏻
I'm from the UK, yeah we do the same unless asked for something else, crown moulding for me is fancy victorian style coving 😂👑 "mud" is a cool term would like to know why you call it that 😎, we do papers with joint cement pissed back metals and tapers with easi fill 60 to get shape without hanging wet for ages then final with normal joint cement, all by hand 😂 Would like to see how you boys do it over there, I'm not a dryliner BTW I'm chippy by trade but cover all aspects as usually move from one refurb to the next and times not really an issue on day rate 😉✔️😇
@@maxnoble523 I don't know why we call it mud, it's just always been since I started. For corners we use a "banjo" or something like I to apply the paper tape to flat runs or corners and then go over corners with a flusher and flats with a taping knife. On outside corners we use either full metal bead or metal reinforced paper corner bead. Look up "Vancouver carpenter" on TH-cam, he's got a few videos about process.
Yeah all the same it's as broad as it is long really, technique is why I watch these boys, not looking for the process. What would you do without a banjo? I apply to the internals with a tar brush 😂 then corner trowel and clean up with my trusty stubai 6, what blades do you boys use for first hit? Can't rate my stubai 6 highly enough tbh tapered ground with a stiffener braised to the top holds a superb edge
We usually only use two people for corners but for this video and seeing as it's a speed video we did the screws and a few things the previous day to have 3 people on each job!
Wyatt Batte that should be the goal.. however this bazooka guy seems to be inventing his own order to things. In a “speed” contest, he is really creating a lot of extra work for himself by doing things out of order.

Poor guy actually got mud on his shirt. I'm surprised he didn't go home to change it. 3 guys chasing each other around then getting in each others way. Stupid. a 3rd guy to wipe everything down? Seems you could do it the traditional way with less aggravation. One guy, his pan and knives and some skill and he will move fast enough. Quicker is not always better and certainly not more effecient.
Definitely NOT a beast with the tube. Lmao. He good lengths tho it looks like. Aussies have a good system for how they finish. Aussie system and US system could be combined for ultimate system. Great work as always Max and those drywall gangsters! Lol.
Thing is this.....all automatic tapers are basically the same as all were copies of Ames. I don't remember mate saying how many years experience he had but, I cant see much time behind that thing personally. Its takes years to run it fast and efficiently to keep 2,3 or 5 guys wiping tape. Personally, I can keep 3 or 4 wiping tape behind me. Angles, internals you call em, are in every house in the states. Have 1 guy running tube, 1 rolling and glazing and last guy picking peaks. (You call em 3 ways I believe.) If you're fast enough on the tube in angles, it's a 4th guy rolling while 3rd is glazing. Bottom line, not impressed with tube capabilities of that guy. In your challenge of bazooka against that modified banjo y'all use, those guys be running their ass off keeping up with an average tube runner from the states. I'll show you when I get there. Lol. You told me you had one so we'll use yours to prove my point all tubes are basically the same! Looking forward to it!

First, Columbia it’s not exactly the best bazooka. ( tape tech or North Star) Second, the guy doesn’t know the tricks. He stops and pull out the tape with the hands. In a normal situation you don’t stop for every cut.
Looks pretty sloppy to me. I hope someone came behind these guys with a knife and a mud pan to actually smooth out and wipe the tape clean. Not a realistic demonstration of how to properly use a bazooka, IMHO.
I just put together a couple boxes using Pelican Vault V700 and V800 gun cases to hold my drywall tools....have a look here ....drive.google.com/folderview?id=1KBhvatMfJBW_GZYnLnauwdB2XSfmVP56
Seriously I see lost of money 3 guys for one taper! Put those 3 boys with a shit box n "béquille" n we would have done the job in 10 minutes 3 experiences guys for all the job! I work with a tall guy who drop 26x500foot paper in 12 hres with the shit box.... One guy 26 paper roll can you imagine those guy they are 3 guys n it took 15 minutes for 10 angles XD Un 15 minutes you close the job with the shit box XD

Old mate running the bazooka must’ve slept in and didn’t have time to get out of his pjs 😂😂. Good stuff as always max
The guy on the bazooka is the captain of the crystal ship getting around on his ice skates.
these guys always have easy ass 8 foot tall jobs and never have to tape high angles..... must be nice
Exactly..candy ass bullshit
Guy has sun glasses on and PJs...where did you find him... 😆
Hes comfortablely stoned😂
Australia lol
Good stuff Maxkil! 🔥 Can’t wait to see Part 2 man!👍🏻😎
Thanks Paul. There's going to be around 4 parts to this one.
Keeping the roller and and angle head in a bucket of water helps keep them working better

Cool stuff. But the guy in the pajamas don't know how to run the bazooka.😂😂😂
