I subscribed too. I’ve played this game since 2019. When the most important guild benefit was how much FP you make from your townhall.. there was no GbG and there were so many active players talking and bantering because the game was exactly that, “a game”. As game became a chore, many left. Many with whom we developed a bond as you say. It became so depressing to see them go that I stopped playing for a while …
I've been playing a similar length of time to you, started August 20 during Covid, and very quickly got into the game. I took the decision to take my time in each era (even some of the more maligned ones) to experience them all, and am currently in Tomorrow era where I've been for about 4 months now, ranked in the top 5 on my server for that era. I'm enjoying the style of your content so far, well balanced and reasoned.
Great comment - thanks for sharing. You are doing quite awesome! I applaud that you have taken your time through each era. There is no right or wrong way to play, of course, but I think too many players rush through the eras and it makes them weaker in the long run. Appreciate the positive comment. I have some work to do in this space and I need to work on delivery among other things, but I appreciate your encouragement!
About me, I have 3 cities, on US1 & beta I have SAT era cities, and on US26 I have a tiny town in EMA. By tiny town what I am talking about is not building outside the starting footprint of the town. As a long time player I really appreciate what you are doing here helps freshen my game and giving me new ideas.
Awesome - the tiny town idea sounds really cool! Thanks for sharing and I appreciate the positive comment from such a veteran player. Glad you enjoy the channel!
@@BardoFarkins A lot of players camp in FE, with hovers it is possible to clear the maps to SAJM, I did it. A lot of time in my mail cities was a battle to find building space in my tiny town I have to be ruthless. It was an idea I got from uber.
I just subscribed. Good job starting this channel and hopefully the videos will be coming regularly. Please do tell your story and share your experience...No one is expert in this game and if you don't hold back information people will come back and subscribe if you help them grow their city. I am in Jaims World and love it so far. I started this game last Christmas and I didn't miss a day since. Very addictive. Good luck with your channel and keep up the good work
Thanks so much for the encouragement and the subscribe! I think it will be fun to add content. This week I have been working on my next video about city collection and hope to post it by the end of the weekend. Good luck in the game and please feel free to engage!
FE is a great age to camp. Hovers make for quick fighting. Downside is your points are nerfed compared to the Space ages, but points are not a reflection of the strength of the city, just a record of what you have done.
Thanks for watching. And you get the award for my very first comment - and it wasn't negative! Woo-hoo! Yep, I plan to be in FE for awhile. This game is a marathon - not a sprint, right? I appreciate your comment about points. I know some outstanding players who are extraordinarily powerful but don't really have that many points!
I am an advanced player, currently in the Titan, following 4 years in the game. I've seen your two videos and both are very nice to listen to, smart and promising. I am sure you will find your own path among all the forge-youtuber and you have no need to have any complexes. Uber Nerd? I like him, but some timse I need something in chatting style rather than extremely polished, concise and informative movies:) Mooing Cat? Doing tremendous work, in particular in events-guides, but seems arogant and I have no pleasure watching him. Bonfry is my absolute favourite one, I listen to him repeatedly as best audiobooks before going to bed:D. However, he publishes very rarely. You sound Bonfry-like, so I hope for frequent (and longer than 15mins;)) movies. Good luck and thanks, I am happy to subscribe:)
What a wonderful comment. Best one yet! Means alot to me coming from such an experienced player. I communicate regularly with Bonfry and will share your comment with him. I really appreciate your support and encouragement.
hi my friend great video,i subscribed.if you want you can make a video about the best and worst great buildings in the game.also i have question.i want to level up my zeus, cdm, coa .which level is the best for these buildings?thank you in advance my friend.
First of all - thanks for the sub and checking out the video! As for GB's, it's a profoundly important and fundamental question. Since GB's bring such a variety of boosts, then it depends on your playstyle and the kind of player you want to be. The two main player types are fighters and goods traders. Once you have established your identity as a player, then the value of all buildings will be much more clear to you. Having said that, I believe the following GB's are the most powerful (keep in mind that I am a fighter). These top 6 are in order: 1. Arc - it's not even close 2. Chateau Frontenac (many disagree with me) 3. Artic Orangery 4. Blue Galaxy 5. Zeus 6. Castle del Monte There are ALOT of horrible GB's...too many to list. Thanks for the question and the support of the channel. Look forward to engaging in the future!
Subbed. Would like some tips on what to focus on early on. Should I invest in resources or army? Or both but weaker? And how to rise the ranks fast, like whats the best approach to it. Thanks
I appreciate it - thank you. I think it depends on what style of play you want. There is no right or wrong way to play. I decided early on that I was going ALL IN as a fighter. I remember for the first several months, basically every decision where I had a choice between goods, supplies, medals, ect or military power - I always went with military. I feel like I found along the way that there are plenty of opportunities to get other goods, ect. but the chance to build military, especially attack boosts for your attacking army, was harder to come by. Thanks for subbing and good luck! It's a helluva game.
Good feedback - yes, sorry. I think I used: GbG - Guild Battlegrounds PE - Progressive Era FE - Future Era AO - Artic Orangery BG - Blue Galaxy CdM - Castel del Monte I'll try to be more thoughtful of this going forward, for sure. Thank you!
Bailed at 12 seconds. Your channel, do what you want but if you're going to add music there might be some people who happen to like it and a lot more who don't and simply don't give your channel a chance. Again, your channel do what you want but intentionally adding quit points is not a great idea. Lose the intros and just get into the content. If people try your channel and you don't grab them right away they will not come back. Good luck to you.
Actually....I was responding to someone who commented on my first comment (apparently you couldn't see it)....Look, it's all good! I don't think you were trying to be malicious. It's OK to share your opinion.
