A lot of people have been using this quote: "to be loved is to be known" not knowing that it is a condensed version of what Christian author Timothy Keller said -- "To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us." It's so crazy how this quote is taken out of context!
I talk about the concept of feeling "known" and "loved" through my experiences growing up and as a wife, and how nothing and no one in this world will ever bridge this gap apart from God Himself! How extraordinary!

i relate to your story very much as a late diagnosed autistic and an immigrant, its been an incredibly lonely life so far but i've come to Christ last year and slowly involving myself in my church.
