I was never shy,I was very outgoing,confident,bold,brave,etc...but experienced something very traumatic as a child and it resulted in me becoming very shy,Please pray for me I really wanna come out of this and do the works of the Lord

I was always quiet and shy as a kid, didn’t really fit in even with my cousins. Then school presentations took a toll on me mentally with some embarrassing moments that were shocking. I was not interested AT ALL to put myself out there anymore. I’m now 25, I’m not as shy as before but I still prefer to be reserved.

Being introverted does not equate to you being shy 🥰 I’m introverted and not shy. Introversion vs extroversion are ways you experience the world

This was me most of my life . I would want to talk with people but would feel choked with fear . Even goes as far as not laughing at certain things or making jokes . But the Lord has freed me from this glory to Jesus Christ .

I have a permanent eye condition called Duane Syndrome (im type 2) where my 1 eye can't move any further outward. It greatly affected my confidence growing up. Im 22 now and I gave my life to Christ 2020 and I want to be more confident this yr 2025. I dont want to be timid anymore or a people pleaser. It will be a process

But how do you overcome the bondage? I’ve prayed to be freed many many times, but I still feel so oppressed by the fear

You need to know that following Christ gives you immense power over any other entity. You just need to call upon Him and through the Holy Spirit you'll acquire a confidence you don't understand came from where. Remember what He told the disciples... Not to think about what they would say before leaders because the Holy Spirit would speak through them.

Thank the Lord that he sent you. I needed this. I've been having trouble telling my friends and even strangers about Jesus and the true meaning of love.

Thanks for this video. I find myself biting my tongue, or tripping over my words, because I get nervous or timid, and it's simple, but true, that is being gripped by fear. Introverted sure, but I don't wanna be shy I wanna be confident. To know that I have God's permission, and encouragement to be bold, and be not afraid is very helpful.

Such a good word! God revealed the same thing to me earlier this year about anxiety. A lot of my "shyness" around new people was because of ADHD. I didn't know I had ADHD until a year or two ago, but I always felt different growing up. I was teased or given looks when I chose to be myself. Do you think there are spirits behind mental disorders such as ADHD and OCD? I believe there is a spirit behind OCD, because my symptoms almost completely went away since choosing to completely put my trust in God. I still occasionally have intrusive thoughts, but they are not often and no longer control me. I'm not sure if there is a spirit behind ADHD, but I believe there are certain spirits, like anxiety, that target people who have ADHD.

A Christian cannot be possessed by a DEMONIC spirit. Having a demon and the Holy Spirit is incompatible. Cowardice is a sin, and a Christian must repent and seek God’s grace in their struggle. Precisely, the verse in 2 Timothy says that they have NOT been given a spirit of cowardice.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. My shyness is actually just fear of rejection or failure. It's something that CAN change. And as I learn more about my identity in Christ, those fears lose their power.

Shyness is definitely not a character trait!

Women killed romance. You can literally look up the letters that the European monarchs and WWI/II soldiers sent to their girlfriends and wives while away while explicitly talking about God and their futures together. Women don't want that anymore and this video is part of the wave. If you believe it is impossible you won't look for it and admonish any men that do show it. As they get rejected they turn into exactly the monsters the modern world wants them to be.

thank you jesus, no joke ive been worrying about this one aspect of my life as a christian and today i just so happened to read this exact bible chapter and meditate and pray on it about this exact condition that i never seemed to meet anybody else who had it. its just further encouragement for me that God is truly encouraging me in this part of my life so thank you so much for posting this girl, God bless! <3

Had a dream i seen the lion of judah through sunlight a week before my birthday🦁.. had a dream i was spiritually woke. seen Jesus fighting my battles.. had a dream i heard Jesus say "believe" i did 100% seen Jesus and his disciples... had a dream i was drowning under water, started thinking of Jesus name and Jesus saved me, had a dream i was dying in the flesh and the armor was covering up my soul like how iron man suit does⚔✝.. had a dream of the rapture, many was freaking out but i was waiting patently on Jesus.. had a dream that i was in the spiritual warfare, many crazy things was happening but i started thinking of Jesus name and he saved me.. had a dream a friend (friends) was telling me that when i wasn't there it was a sad day, but when i was i made the sunlight come out.. had a dream i was sharing the goodness of Jesus and saved many souls for Jesus.. had a dream i was sharing the goodness to someone and heard thunder then clouds appear, then a angel came out of the clouds flying down and landed a few feet away from me, as the angel was coming down i was being put into my armor of god⚔.. had a dream Jesus was showing me something that would shock the people, you know how in the bible Jesus spoke to many people/kings.. Moses for example, Jesus spoke to him on the mountain 🏔 & even in the burning bush🔥🌳.. this dream I had is similar to what Jesus did for Moses✝.. had a dream december 2 that i was sharing the goodness of Jesus to a group of people, so imagine being sleep physically (on earth) but you are woke spiritually sharing you testimony as you were physically (on earth).. Glory to Jesus✝, had a dream december 25 a friend of mine didn't know Jesus so i helped her understand all he did but long story short i had a dream i seen her sharing the goodness of Jesus to family and friends.. later that day she told me she told her friends and family about Jesus✝.. had a dream december 30 that i was sharing the goodness of Jesus to someone (spiritually) had a dream January 6 2025 that i was thinking of Jesus name and no harm or fear was able to mess with me.. had many more!! Glory to Jesus..

Social anxiety feels like bondage. I thought I’ve be done with this by now

I really needed to hear this because I also struggle with shyness especially when I meet new people and try to spread God's word it feels like something is holding me back even though I want to:/ It's so exhausting and sometimes I feel really disappointed in myself

There's nothing wrong with being introverted. Jesus was an introvert and that's a natural personality trait. He just wasn't timid or shy, which is the extreme and maldapative form of introversion, just like an extrovert may become prideful because they love hearing themselves talk over others and never listening. Introversion and timidity/shyness are not the same thing. Jesus restored his energy by praying alone and being with God (introversion)

I rebuke this love in Jesus Christ Name!!! I only wanna be with who God wants me to be with. the devil loves numbers and also tricking people into falling into something. I know there's gonna be some desert 19 year olds that will push themselves into this and then ruin their perception of love because they didn't look for it in Christ. This world is so crazy. We cant keep doing it to ourselves!

This is a really good take, I have another thought on this, using Pride and Prejudice as an example. I think rather than jumping to what this kind of love and yearning looks like in a romantic partner, it can be an invitation to see how Jesus yearns for your heart. The way Mr. Darcy loves Lizzie and works behind the scenes just to express his love and yearning for her heart is honestly a beautiful picture of how Jesus pursues us. It’s a pure love motivated by a desire to selflessly give of his affections without the guarantee that Lizzie will even love him back. This was Jesus on the cross, while we were still sinners rejecting him. He pursued. I would encourage anyone captivated by stories like this to lean into the truth that Jesus yearns for our hearts in this way. ❤️

I think we block our own blessings by setting up these standards that God didn't give us to set up. "He who finds a wife, finds a good thing" that's all its says. What God has for us is gonna be 10000x better than any of these movies but the unrealistic standards make the waiting season harder and you aren't even preparing or learning in the process because you let is pass you by, yearning for something that isn't yours nor always real.
