The Game is one of the best modern psychological thrillers. The first viewing is an experience in itself. After that, it’s great replay value, to see what you missed the first time around like most early Fincher films.

I watched it for the first time on Amazon Prime last week. Definitely worth picking up.

Ah! Some great pickups! I've picked up a lot during this sale as well! Also wanted to mention that there is a bonus movie called Game of Death II as a special feature in the Bruce Lee box set. It is interesting to say the least! And I see you mentioned Daisuke as well! I'm regularly on the comments section there!

It would be so nice to not have seen so many classic films!
Local Hero Moonstruck are two of my all time films. Rushmore is nothing short of amazing. I love it! Night of the Hunter proves you don’t need blood and gore to tell a truly disturbing story.
    Enjoy your haul!
Next time you’re buying grab the Devil and Daniel Webster! Get 12 Angry Men too. Both great great films.
Anything by Wes Anderson is always welcome. Moonrise Kingdom is another huge fave. As is Brazil. Terry is a genius. Unbelievably underrated film maker.
Heavens Gate is more about what he spent and the original releases length. Not so much the quality of the film. Its slow moving and very European in style.
The Deer Hunter is a great film but I’ll never sit through it again.

"Moonstruck" is wonderful. And Scorcese says his "The Age of Innocence" is his most violent film.

You guys are goals!!! Amazing haul! Seriously, so many great titles! When you watch Night of the Hunter, make sure to check out the supplements afterwards because there’s a documentary on the behind the scenes filming of the movie, seriously so neat! It makes the $25 price more worth it 🤣 congrats on the upcoming baby!!

Random: but I'm actually kinda glad they don't read the spine numbers... everybody does and I have a pretty good collection of Criterion Collection blu rays and if I were to ever do videos I would purposely not read the spine numbers, if you'e into Criterion at this point, saying the blu ray spine numbers matter but then again at the end of the day they really don't.
