I just want to share that Wake Me Up was the song where the leader (Bang Yongguk) came back from hiatus because he was suffering from panic disorder. So the lyrics stemmed from his personal struggles.
Back in the days, in 2012 every boy group was trying so hard to be the next B.A.P, they set the bar so high in terms of vocals, rap, dance and live stage performance. They brought to k-pop a new sound and new genre called B.A.P. I'll be forever bitter because they disbanded.
Forever bitter with their shitty company for F-ing them over. They literally had everything to make it big worldwide. If i recall correctly they were neck and neck with Exo and BTS in the 2012-2013 year.
Funfact: Not only did B.A.P have a light stick, they also had a whistle. Which the fans would blow through out their songs. A bit like a fanchant but for whistles. I went to one of their concerts and it was so fun!
Babyz yall remember when they just debuted and they had their own little show and Yonnguk was just swearing all over the place and was always ready to fight and the members would be holding him back but also lowkey ready to fight? That would have me cracking up. I miss those days lol. I also mizz the EXO and BAP alien wars. Like we were really out here talking about which planet we were repping.

Zelo is in the military so he is not part of it but has helped a lot with making the album. Its been 11 years since B.A.P debut and they will forever be my favorite group. The maknae, Zelo is still my ultimate bias and favorite rapper to this day. Speaking of the way he raps the fans gave him a term that describes how fast he raps called LTE rap, it was given to him for his rap in Warrior in their debut MV. Also, they’re even better in concert. I was lucky enough to see them live back in 2013 in pit after camping for 8 hours (smaller venue/cheaper back in the day). I will forever be thankful🫶🏼

They were so big that they became EXO's toughest rivals at that time. But because their agency was in trouble, their popularity dropped a lot. They were suffering a lot at that time until they finally left the agency and the members are currently doing a lot of solo projects. So through Jongup, I'm very happy because so many people know about B.A.P again, and listen to their songs again 😭❤️
If you haven’t noticed, BAP tends to add in other songs from the album as an interlude. So when you hear something totally different, it is a different song. They were and still are THEE group of 3rd gen. They brought a lot of aspects of kpop to the table. A lot of aspects that are popular in newer gens. Hard dancing, strong vocals, dramatic mvs, killer raps, fashion and so much more. I really hope since Jongup, Youngjae, Zelo & Yongguk met up a lil ago since Jongup is in Peak Time that they will maybe come back with something. All they need now is Daehyun. When No mercy plays at a kpop concert, the fanchant is INSANE! Like it doesn't even have to be a BAP concert. Like 90% of 2nd-3rd gen kpop stans and know the song. B.A.P. were the most powerful and interesting in the Korean industry and she was able to destroy such a group. Daehyun is an amazing vocalist, Yongguk is a great rapper and songwriter. As a group, they were, in my opinion, the most powerful and significant, but the Korean audience was not ready for them. I advise you to watch their concerts - they are great!!!🔥🔥🔥

Its been 11 years since B.A.P debut and they will forever be my favorite group. The maknae, Zelo is still my ultimate bias and favorite rapper to this day. Speaking of the way he raps the fans gave him a term that describes how fast he raps called LTE rap, it was given to him for his rap in Warrior in their debut MV.
Also, they’re even better in concert. I was lucky enough to see them live back in 2013 in pit after camping for 8 hours (smaller venue/cheaper back in the day). I will forever be thankful🫶🏼
The group that covered No Mercy, Team 2 aka NTX, they said that Jongup told them he showed the other members their performance. It was sweet watching the other guys call Jongup from sunbaenim to hyung.

That's why the lyrics are very relatable to our current life. The leader of the group, Bang Yongguk, composes almost all the songs for B.A.P, and he is in the top 10 list of KOMCA (KPop idol who owns the most copyright). They were so big that they became EXO's toughest rivals at that time. But because their agency was in trouble, their popularity dropped a lot. They were suffering a lot at that time until they finally left the agency and the members are currently doing a lot of solo projects. So through Jongup, I'm very happy because so many people know about B.A.P again, and listen to their songs again 😭❤️
If you haven’t noticed, BAP tends to add in other songs from the album as an interlude. So when you hear something totally different, it is a different song.
And btw, fans says one of the members always have to get shot in their MV, which is almost true lol. But there are also a handful of MV that does not involve guns or shooting 🤣

watching it again and in 10:52 when you notice the song changed and say is like "a whole different part" because of the new sound it has it's because it is a different song! BAP sometimes would put parts of their b-sides from the same album on the MVs and I personally like a lot how they give more context on the history of the mv with this. they did it in one shot, skydive, 1004... it's really cool tbh. in 1004 specifically the b-side is Save Me, one of my favorite b-sides from them.

They were and still are THEE group of 3rd gen. They brought a lot of aspects of kpop to the table. A lot of aspects that are popular in newer gens. Hard dancing, strong vocals, dramatic mvs, killer raps, fashion and so much more. I really hope since Jongup, Youngjae, Zelo & Yongguk met up a lil ago since Jongup is in Peak Time that they will maybe come back with something. All they need now is Daehyun. And I'm sure he'd be down for it.

Haha.. No mercy got ya.. It's a fandom fave. The team in Peaktime did a great job with the remix and made it their own style so yeah it did not have the guitars at the intro. And girl lemme tell ya. When No mercy plays at a kpop concert, the fanchant is INSANE! Like it doesn't even have to be a BAP concert. Like 90% of 2nd-3rd gen kpop stans and know the song. It's one of those kpop songs that never gets old. 😘

Yesss!! Thank u for reacting to them. Fun fact! B.A.P was the first kpop group to perform on Trl/MTV. Also the first kpop group to debut in the top 10 billboard world charts. If it wasn’t for TS Entertainment they would’ve been one of the biggest kpop groups right now. Also when they took a hiatus and sued their company a lot of babys(fandom name) left them and became Army’s . When they came back a good amount of the fandom left and they weren’t able to pick up the momentum again 😩

I was lucky to hear No Mercy live at MuBank in Mexico and I must say that it was the best concert experience in my life, I went for EXO and BTS, but their performance ended up being my favorite.

B.A.P. were the most powerful and interesting in the Korean industry and she was able to destroy such a group. Daehyun is an amazing vocalist, Yongguk is a great rapper and songwriter. As a group, they were, in my opinion, the most powerful and significant, but the Korean audience was not ready for them. I advise you to watch their concerts - they are great!!!🔥🔥🔥

Thank you so much for posting your reactions to BAP. It felt like I was sharing you my teenage years! Listening to all the songs and remembering the lyrics just felt so nostalgic. I was in a period then when I deliberately decided to engulf my self in kpop and just listen, see and do what I liked to protect myself from now having a childhood. These talented boys were a part from that time so listening to the songs and seeing the MV's once again made me happy. They were all goofballs indeed. I do miss those times.

B.A.P has never had a bad song! My all time favorites are Wake Me Up, Feel So Good, and HONEYMOON. There’s not a single song from them that I’d every skip if it came on. I unfortunately never got to see them in person, but I did get to see Jongup briefly at Kcon in 2019. He is so much more beautiful in person!
