Other chefs...yes, they can be the BEST in the world, but what would it mean to the average person if they can't even dream of ever making and eating that food? Pointless, right? If I can follow your recipes from A to Z and actually eat the food just like yours...then YOU are the WINNER in my book. In n out is the best fast food burger but us Californians do hype it up too much. It’s not a miracle, it’s just a burger. The main thing is that you will never have any other fast food burger that is that fresh.
It is absolutely the best fast food burger of all time. You pay $13 for a double cheeseburger, fries, and a drink after tax, which is literally half the price you'd pay for anything comparable at Five Guys and Shake Shack.
I am, of course, super biased but Tiffy's food is the best! If we can only get all the fresh ingredients and cook like Tiffy, I think we would take all of our lives to the NEXT LEVEL. You're so lucky Dom!

Oh you would be in good heaven were you to ever go to Mexico. So many cheap eats but also so many elevated restaurants, and so many places that do really tradicional cooking. You’d love it!

The next time you are in the LA area, you have to do a food tour around the 626 area (San Gabriel Valley). It is still in LA County but without the difficult driving/parking, safer overall, and some of the best chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong, etc food!
I'm from Vancouver, go to LA frequently, and cannot find sushi that is equal to, or more than sugarfish unless you go high end omakase. Can you please tell me what good sushi you know for an affordable price? I must know!

The thing about in and out is that you must also order the burger animal style as well. They cook the patty in mustard, add grilled onions, steam the cheese into the meat, and add a bit of extra sauce. If it isn't an animal style burger, it isn't in and out Other than those, great choices. I live walking distance from sun nong dong so la food = life.
Really appreciate your honesty with this review! I remember trying In-N-Out because of the hype and feeling rather mid about it. But also appreciate you making it clear whether the pricier stuff is worth it, no shade if people may want the experience of a $15 smoothie but that's a no thanks from me 😂

Mamas chili oil is so goodddd over tsao mien! Hubby just made some recently and i asded it at the end (i think this works better as a finishing chilu oil btw) and it was sooooooo good! Not too spicy and a tonnnnn of flavor.
