Political day, guys? Just watched Fleetwood mac, who were Clinton's band. Now you do this epic by Etta James, and it was the first tune Barry and Michelle Obama danced to at their Inaugural Ball.
I grew up listening to her in the fifties. She had a really tough life including Heroin addiction and other problems. One of the greatest voices around. She was six months older than I.
This was the song that my husband and I had our first dance as husband and wife at our wedding..was so beautiful and romantic..
I am 66years old and this song was out during my Mom and Dad's time. It was one of my Mom's favorite songs.🌹
Her voice is so hauntingly powerful. The raspsy quality causes each song to be uniquely hers.

As you just experienced she has a voice that truly reaches in and touches your heart. I'm not sure IF you've had the chance to yet because I haven't seen your full volume of videos. You should watch the movie Cadillac Records it's a movie about Etta James and Muddy Waters and all those artists and how they got famous and it was in the 1950s or 60s I think Beyonce plays Etta James in this movie it's an amazing movie it'll make you laugh it'll make you cry it's really good you should check it out
