It’s a marathon, not a sprint. You’ll have ups and downs, good times and bad times, I’m so happy to see your progress, regardless of whether it was better the first year or not. Just don’t ever quit.
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been two years since I stumbled across your first video. Life is a race, but only with yourself, as far as I can see you’re forging forward with purpose and humility. Your videos are so heartfelt and honest they are hard to top! Keep up the good work!
Hey Laura. Here’s an idea for a video series. Build your backyard cabin yourself!! Start with the dream, design and draw it up. Then just start with the foundation and build up. It can’t be much harder than some of the other things you have done already and believe me you will get viewers by the millions. The bonus part is you will have your little retreat at the end!
Definitely include a video call with Laura Kampf. Like you, she is finds a way to be cheerful in the face of adversity but also she’s fab for lessons in developing resilience and building a team.
The British have very different building codes than the Americans that’s for sure. We use a 2x4 stud wall design using a lot of wood while the British use more brick, at least in the areas that I have visited. This would definitely be a “series of videos “.
Great idea and enter it in shed of the year. Would love a channel that goes off and interviews the previous shed winners. Only just found this channel and its great.
I so appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. It is great to hear that you are settling into the routine and building a foundation to grow the channel on! ❤
Well... I just clicked your video with the intention to skip through and see roughly what's been going on with your channel. But then I just finished watching the video with a 100% retention rate! Your presentation style is unique, and I appreciate the way it conveys honesty and "realness" in a world that sometime lacks such things. Cant wait to see the desert island production sometime in the next 24 months! I feel the TH-cam algorithm is great at bringing the right people to your videos, and when you pivot topics or take time off, a drop would be expected, but then the core fans stick with you and you can go on to create what YOU want as long as you have the patience to wait for the financial part. I suspect the island video will be another hit, but don't let that pressure keep you from diving into it. If you make a video about it and are not 100% happy with it, for a project like that you could probably get away with a second edit of the same experience a few months later if you really wanted another go. Keep up the good work!
I felt really lonely after moving out of my mum's at 33 too 😓 I'd moved back in with them at the start of the pandemic and moved out after I got married. When we lived together, she was working from home, so every morning when I got up for work, I'd go into her office, say good morning and kiss her on the head. I've missed that a lot. There's also the thing of every time I go back, my parents look older and older. It's hard to deal with. BTW you've done phenomenally in your channel growth and output. I have a channel, Rumade, and started in 2021. Only have 900 subs and it's nothing like as consistent as yours :)
The TH-cam grind is really hard and there are many ups and downs. Consistency and persistence are key to long term growth and that's hard when the growth starts slogging. Your desert island video is really exciting and should bring you a lot of views.
It's hard to run a channel on top of real life. I'm the same as you in that I too have had to step back to deal with real world stuff such as taking a really complex accreditation involving lots of studying. I have been forced to stop doing videos whilst doing this and it's frustrating watching the stats dip but it's a juggling factor handling TH-cam channels on top of all the stuff us people handle daily in real life. Good luck with the future.
I just found your channel through your mushroom experience and I LOVE your videos! Whenever I’m in a funk mood or just need some company, your videos set me right. Mahalo!🌴
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with living with your Mum! I don't have my Mum anymore and I would give anything to spend another day with her. Not rushing my adult daughter out the door either!
I love how TH-cam's algorithm suggested this..... Next month I leave a 21 year career in the NHS to go full time with my podcast. Scary times as I rain in the out goings.... 60k subs on Spotify and now pivoting to YT. This has given me a huge boost. Thanks for your insight. Sub'd and wishing you all the best. (And for those young ones starting out, Im 59!!!)
Found you by looking up the artist way, then inspired by your rowing across the ocean, now I am taking on the Challenge to do youtube full time in the next six months.
For some reason this video was suggested to me. GREAT FIND! TH-cam knows us better than we do....LOL!! We are in a similar place in the TH-cam world. Great to hear your perspective. I too am "doing TH-cam full time", so it's refreshing to see your perspective.
My prediction, INFP. Love you channel, your persistence, your values. Emdr and trauma release can be a rough ride, finding the right guide is EVERYTHING. Keep at it. If I could afford to support you on patrion I would. And as a self employed carpenter, hearing you getting ripped off by that builder really got me mad.
Hi Laura, can't believe it's been two years! I don't even remember how I run into you, it wasn't the viral videos, but it shows how long it's been :) Thank you for your honesty and perseverence. Your health results video helped me immensely - it turned out my problem was indeed magnesium and after starting it, my health improved massively! You pointed me in the right direction without even trying by just being honest about yourself. Wishing you a great youtube year ahead!
I'd just make a viral video every so often. It would financially support you enough to keep making the content you enjoy. Sounds happy and healthy to me!
Compared to other new creators that I follow, your channel is doing pretty good over the same 2 year time span. You've created a good foundation and figured out where you want to go in the future, so it would not surprise me if you double your subscriber count by the time you hit the 3 year mark. I see many channels start to take off after hitting 100K subscribers, and you are not far from hitting that milestone. Just stick with what you love and your happiness will follow. ( love Charlie's channel too ) 🌟
Just some of my thoughts about everything you talked about. Personally I watch your videos because I like your personality.. I like the sound of your voice. Being an American it's very interesting to see how you do things. I truly wish you all the success you deserve. I think your channel will grow and grow and grow just hang on. Never stop being true to yourself. Much love and respect.💌
So many things to tell about everything in this video, actually - the growth during the first year was evidently the process of attracting the target auditory, while the decrease in the growth rate clearly shows that the channel has reached its niche and holding quite stable - even taking into consideration the fact that no videos were uploaded for 5 months or so - the approach of "doing viral videos - implementing my personal ideas" is just like walking in the dark with other people around, when you partially listen to what others say, but simultaneously and carefully touching the objects around you to find the one you need/ it may be just a matter of balance between the two types of activities, there is no need for radical decisions. In other words, it is sometimes useful to follow the routes discovered and examined by others, and sometimes its good to discover the routes by yourself - if you choose this lifestyle as your job, it has to be followed by a certain attitude (not always the objective of the job is pleasant and desirable, but you need to do it) - anyways, still wishing you luck and patience, stay true, stay strong
Interesting - this is the first video of yours I've ever seen. I quite like your laid back energy. I noticed that as you were talking your approach in dealing with negative people in an understanding and non-judgmental way was really classy and cool. Throughout the video you seem to just keep projecting or embracing a sense of optimism about the future coupled with a clear but not-too-negative view of the past and I find that to be quite appealing and for some reason, comforting. I will say that I found myself being quite judgy of some of your choices. I was saying things in my head like "oh sure, take off to a deserted island to make some silly pet project video, blow a bunch of money and never have anything in the end.....typical of anyone who sniffs a little bit of income." BUT I had to stop and say "Well at least you've done that and were earning money while doing it so that's not a big deal at all" AND I had to really look at WHY I thought those things. AND THIS is where things got really interesting for me. I found it interesting that I got quite judgy of you but then had to realize I haven't done anywhere close to even 1/20 of what you've already done. I've been procrastinating on some of my creative interests and my ideas seem to be all over the place and I often feel like I can't even focus enough to sit and watch a movie, let alone create anything new. But really what's been happening is I've allowed myself to be distracted because doing those creative things is new and sort of scary and makes me worried about "what if I could actually do some of these things and be really good at them?"....which seems totally mental because I really want to be good at some of these things. And that's where your laid by approach started to bring peace to this whole mindstorm. I thought "Hey hold on a sec - why keep with this judgy energy? Why not chill out, relax, let go of all that stuff and simply realize it's all going to be OK whether or not I do any of these things? Why not adopt this woman's energy and approach to these pursuits? Wouldn't that be a more comforting way? and I had to admit it would be. So thanks for representing that with very real world examples of your own journey. Anyways this turned out to be, quite unexpectedly, the exact video I needed to see this morning.....having gotten myself into quite a judgy mood by watching too many "How to do X, Y or Z" videos. Thanks for this. I'll subscribe right after I post this comment and look forward to learning more about you and your journey.
Hi Jont, well, I must say, what an incredible comment. I am quite taken back really, in a good way. I can relate to your 'judgy' ways. I do it too, I am sure most, if not all people do it. I think it's tricky in this modern wold with social media, seeing so many people so much stuff. It;s almost impossible not to be judgy so I appreciate your honesty and openness. And I totally get the 'How to do X' - too many of those style videos kill my creativity and energy. I would imagine it's doing that for you too? I thank you for your comment. There is a lot more I want to write but I get it. And it seems you may be getting me. It's so easy to judge but there are so many layers to us all, and it would be impossible for us to share it all. I'm waffling. It's good to have you here.
@@LauraTryUK Hey Laura - thanks for the reply and I'm glad you liked my comment. It's all true. I watched this video again and it's really incredible all the stuff you've already done and shared. I wasn't nearly as judgy this time, in fact not judgy at all. Not sure if it's because of better sleep last night or I know you've already done a lot. Regardless your laid back energy in this vid was awesome, yet again. With how crazy this life can get these days, it's nice to see some laid back, casual videos that help me relax. I don't live with my mom but I live less than 1 mile from her. We're super close and best friends so the fact that you're having such a good time with your mom is awesome and something I really can relate to. I did have to live with my mom, for like 2-3 months, as I was recovering from some health issues but I was SO grateful for my own place. I continue to struggle with wanting to spend time with her and wanting my own independence - it's never easy for either of us. I've been greatly helped by not listening to what others think we "should do" or "should not do" because in the end, it's our friendship and we get to work out how that looks. Anyways LOVED your vid on your process of how you make vids. Well done. Thanks for being so open about everything. You really demystify so much of the process and make it seem accessible. All the best.
You are an amazing authentic voice. Thank you for having the guts to get out there and essentially put yourself on the line and be yourself no matter what. Always a delight to see another video from you pop up. Cheers
I had your channel recommended to me through the algorithm about a month ago. I really find your content so motivating and you r incredibly likeable. I’m also interested in the content you have coming up for us. Take my super thanks and keep up the great work!
I am impressed with your honesty. Life is filled with ups and downs. Being self employed is tough. I am also impressed you can live with your mother! 😆
I missed you when you dropped off the you tube planet and I am glad you have come back. I love your investigation into your own health and growing and learning. Personally, I ran out and bought a rubik cube after that video and I am proud to say I can now do it myself! Very proud of myself. I can touch type so I didn't watch that one. I have run everyday for a month and I did a 5 day fast, all helped and inspired by you. But this demonstrates that you do you and people with watch or they won't. In the end we, the people, and you, are doing what feels right for us. Isn't that all we can do! xx
I really enjoy your videos, and i believe your growth will pick up again, because you still have vigour and inspiration, that is so key. I've had a similar experience to you with my youtube channel. I was making good money from viral style videos a couple of years ago, but i got burnt out and lost interest in making that kind of content. Now i'm focusing on other passions and possible career paths, and i'm taking a month off TH-cam this May so devote more time to those things. It's certainly scary when youtube earnings decrease, but its also so unpredictable. I'll probably come back and give it another shot, but goodness, there's so much that goes into doing youtube as a job, its harder than most people think. i wish you the best of luck and i'll still be here watching
you do you and your community will come. Patience is key I guess 🥰 Also, I came to your channel because of vivo barefoot videos but I stayed because of you 🙂 I think you are a fresh breeze in this youtube jungle!
I just like to say, I really enjoyed the Rubik’s cube, Typing Speed and Speed reading videos! I don’t know if any of this would be helpful, but here are a few video ideas that I think might be a good fit for you - What advice would you give your younger self (age 21, 31) ahead of your 41st birthday? What differences are there between Male and Female TH-camrs - what are the different challenges? Does the algorithm treat you differently? (I don’t know for certain but I feel like men and women follow male you tubers, but not as many men follow female you tubers even though their content might be similar). A long term follow up on your having taken the Matt D’Avella TH-cam course - any longer term reflections about its value, and an indication of additional courses or resources you needed to skill-up from that introductory level course. Maybe an interview with your mum about how she sees your YouTubing career. What health or fitness skills or practices you have learnt (for TH-cam or before) that you have since abandoned and why?… I’m sure some more might come to be, but I hope some of these might be helpful. Keep up the good work, seeing a new video from you in my feed always makes me smile!
I have to pause the video for a bit, cause there's something on my mind. First thanks a lot for your honesty in this video and also thanks a lot for videos like the speed reading!, I enjoy that content tremendously! But I'm also in my early 40ies, female and learning new things is what drives me. But, I have an idea for a future video. I'm a biochemist and got into fasting and keto through research and what I'm always missing with all those viral fasting videos is the 'what happens one week after the fast, what happens one month after'. Cause you gain the weight back, your body composition changes again. The benefit isn't the weight loss, which I think most people click the videos for, the benefit is the hormonal balance, the inflammation rate going down. That's what is beneficial even years after a fast. But it's never addressed in those kinds of videos and I feel like more people should know about that. Thanks again for your channel, good morning from Berlin :)
Great to get an update, I'm sooooo glad you moved back in, good to see your mother in some of the videos sometimes. Also did you really need an editor? What if they mess it up by inserting TV clips which I hate. Just setup a camera, talk to us, and we'll be happy. Mistakes make it more interesting! :)
I like you LT! I like the gimmicky videos because it's you. They are fun and funny! You are funny in them. How about both? Nothing is ever wasted. And there is nothing wrong with earning money. It's Friday is my favorite video! As you know, I go back and watch from time to time because it brings me joy! You elevate my joy and happiness! 😊
I don’t know why this channel came on my feed but I just wanted to encourage you to treasure every second you have with your mum. The clip of you dancing with her was beautiful. A good mum is a blessing. Wish you well for your channel.
I looove all the content you put out, all of it!!! I really like how you do challenges on self development - fitness, mental, productivity etc. To me you are kind of a down to earth female version of Nathaniel Drew, Matt D’Avella, Gabe Bult or Clark Kegley. Maybe that helps give some inspiration. I just find you really inspiring and relatable. Wishing you all the luck with your channel 🤗
Love your content. What about “sustainability” videos, like buying solar, or starting a backyard farm, and how it performs in your situation. I like listening to you talk about money and balancing it with your time and energy. Good luck in your endeavors!
This is a brilliant video, thanks for sharing everything Laura. In case it helps... If you're still looking for a video editor, I know loads of professional TV video editors who are looking to get some side money from working with TH-cam(rs) but don't know where to start(!)
You come across like such a nice person in your videos, really genuine. Refreshing in this social media world. I hope that you get all the success in life and love, you really deserve it 😊.
Loved your video and your honesty, Laura. Makes you so relatable! And please keep staying with your mom!! I think Western countries should normalize living with your family members even as grown ups...which is done in so many other parts of the world. That´s why we feel so isolated here. Love all your knew projects! Maybe you could still do a test on how to increase your fitness level sustainibly and have it tested? It would motivate myself a lot. I feel like every Spring I start from scratch...and I would like to get to a general good fitness level where I don´t collaps after 20 minutes of jogging for example. But its so difficult to keep active for me during the Winter months (busy, unregular life style due to work, early darkness, etc). Keep up the work, you´re gonna be fine!!
I saw your video, learning the splits at age 39, on my youtube suggestions yesterday. And I watched it then another video, then another one... Your energy, way of talking, your spirit makes one thinks that maybe I can do it too. your channel is a motivation coach for many people for sure! I'm in my mid 30s and desperate about my life. Seeing other people who have changed their life brings hope for myself. I wish I will find what I want for my life and enough strength to put it into practice.
I am just now seeing this and I wanted to throw in my 2 cents. First, I LOVE the path your channel has taken with the type of videos since this, ie Huberman daily routine, Truffle retreat, & the Celery Juice video come to mind. I initally found you with the 7 day water fast video, and I never actually aligned with your (or anyones for that matter) fitness challenge or related videos. I just wanted to provide this perspective as I assume many others beyone just myself are more so into health, wellness, biohacking etc, and not necessarily excercise and even less excercise challenges. Many of the excercise challenges are out of reach for me and actually cause me to feel uninspired and not so great about myself. Whereas water fasting, morning routines, juice cleanses are definitely something I can accomplish. The channel Skylife comes to mind as another example of a channel that does this well. I love how much authenticity and transparency you bring to all of your videos but in this one specifically with your income. What I will say is I am shocked, I would expect someone with your following to be making much more. To be frank I am going provide some unsolicited advice, out of love, and only because I want you to have more resources to happily continue to make content. You have inspired me, and many others to try new things, and improve myself, and deliver it in a beautiful way, the internet needs to be filled with more positive impact like what you offer. First with sponsorships (I am surprised to not have noticed any in your videos) the channel Kelly Stamps (although a completely different niche from yours) has videos discussing very transparently about how to navigate this and encouragement on how to not undervalue what you offer, her channel is also fascinating to study due to its quick virality without the typical crazy thumbnails, outlandish numbers, quick cut editing styles. I am not saying that you feel this way, but I know so many YTers used to feel weird about sponsorships but now they are mentioned in virtually every channel or podcast with any sort of following, its so normal. Second is products, while I can tell you put a ton of thought into editing, story telling, filming etc, a little bit of additional research related to products could really pay off for you in the form of finances. I see some videos that don't have products included that easily could, and others where there could be a more beneficial product to include. For instance in your celery juicing video a huge opportunity was missed to partner with Nama Well. While they are an investment, they have a cult like following (similar to a Vitamix in blenders) for their Nama J2 and now J3 juicer. In fact the channel Kristina Raw has millions of subscribers mostly from juicing & Nama juicer content, another that comes to mind is thejenjones on TT, who got most of her followers from the Nama fandom. You could have gotten the best of the best juicer, made some coin, and been able to offer a $50 off coupon code to your followers. This is just one example of all the products that are in your videos. Literally after EVERY product I personally would mention that the link is in the description and even again when the product is featured for the last time in the video, yes you may sound like a broken record, but if you don't mention it, people will open up a new tab to search for it to buy it, not knowing the link is already right there. Again I am not saying you feel this way, but I know some creators feel pushy constantly saying link in description, but the reality is people want to buy stuff, Amazon wouldn't be successful if they didn't, they want to buy good products that come with a recommendation from a trusted source, they absolutely will forget to navigate to your link without repetition, and lastly they want to support you! I hope all this helped, and is received with love & light, I know my inner consultant came out, and it wasn't asked for, but I truly do want to see you have the resources to continue to do things like your Desert Island challenge. So much love! 💕
Dear Laura, Every time I see a new video from you, my heart makes a little jump. I watch them all! I love your voice, your honesty and I am really looking forward to the inner self videos! Keep on going! Lot's of love from the Netherlands!
Congrats on everything you've achieved so far, and the personal & professional lessons you're learning. Longer term, your authenticity will drive growth, so keep being true to yourself.
Your decision to avoid the purely viral video path shows how much you truly care about your viewership to only share sustainable health tips and your inspirational story. You are becoming an inspiration to me and my social media presence. I agree that viral videos do not do the best job of creating a sustainable healthy mindset and even though I am slowly building an audience I know I am staying true to myself and what I want to contribute to the world. I just signed up to join your channel. I wish it could be more.
I love all your videos. I can't do a lot of fitness so I really enjoy when you try to learn & experience all sorts of things. Wishing you the best. Your personality is what keeps me coming back.
I stumbled across this channel whilst researching acupuncture mats and I’m hooked! I think Laura is authentic, normal and relatable. I’ve wanted to create content and tell my story for some time but as a Gen X-er, I’ve subconsciously believed that creators were all pre pubescent, perky breasted millennials that I could never compete with (not that I’d want to) but watching the realness of you as a more mature person has truly been inspiring! Keep being you, keep doing what you do and thank you. 😊
Hello from India, Laura! I discovered your video last week, I think. I started with one of your viral videos, the "7 day fast." I just finished watching your 2 year update and let me tell you, there's no TH-camr out there who is being as authentic and genuine as you are with their challenges, their growth, and their earnings. Talking about mental health and moving back with your mum is one of the things that made this video so real. Your mum sounds lovely. I'll be here on this journey that you're taking, now that you've found a path you want to embark on, for now. Can't wait to see where this you leads to, but I'll be here for it. You are a wonderful soul, Laura. No TH-cam algorithm can change nor take that away from you.
So many have said the same thing because it’s true. You’re lovely lady who “real” and genuine. Don’t change who you are. Keep sharing your journey and thanks for inviting us along for the ride!!! Looking forward to the next video!
Laura, somehow I stumbled across one of your videos and I haven’t been able to stop. It’s probably been three weeks. I love your channel. You’ve inspired me to start the Artist Way. I must say I’m slightly addicted to your channel the way you put a video together your earnestness and honesty. Please don’t stop making videos. Please continue doing what you’re doing. You are making a difference.❤
Howdy from chicago. I don’t know how I came across U. But I have enjoyed your videos. I didn’t realize I hadn’t subscribe till now. So I’m in. Much continued success. What I like about your videos is. U will do what it takes, I remember your cold submerge video where U clean out the trash bind. I never saw anyone do that. I admire your drive to get it done. Much continued success.
You are a person that seems to give a hug to us all, keep up with all the hard work. You provide a sincere approach and a real person- thank you! Keep up the good work.
keep going LT! I actually discovered your channel from the fasting video and I loved your content since then. you’re right, you need to find the right balance and have some viral videos so that people like me find your awesome channel. I like the idea of building your own cabin that I saw in a comment. just saying :)
I'll share how I got here (to your channel). It started with the rowing across the ocean video. Loved it. The summary lessons you provided are deep and valuable, IMO. I am much more into the physical struggles than emotional reviews that may be coming up. Physical struggles orient the mind, and I hope you can weave the relationship there into your upcoming content. I look forward to the videos regarding your desert adventure and the "opportunity of a lifetime" trip you took recently, can't wait to see those videos. Best of luck and I hope year 3 is great for you and your channel.
1. I’d like a series on the island- what you wanted/hoped- what happened- looking back. Maybe chunking down will make it more doable? 2. Stay true to your style while honestly evaluating your feedback. 3. New subscriber here I enjoy your content
Laura you’re fantastic! Viral videos- - anything tech related (fitness watches etc ) - I did Keto for one month! - I ran a half marathon every day for a month - 500 burpee a day - training for a fitness comp
thanks for the video suggestions Matt, much appreciated, but I don't want to make that style of video. They are 'sensational' and gimmicky and that doesn't align with the values of this channel; healthy and cheerful. (except the tech-related, but my audience isn't here for that).
@@LauraTryUK yeah I can appreciate that and got the message after watching the upload ( great and sincere upload by the way). Sometimes to restart something and get back on track a little sensationalism isn’t too bad, particularly if it gets you to ultimately creating the content you need to- some of these tie in with health too- Keto changed my life immeasurably. Anyway, whatever you do, you’ll smash it and I will keep on watching!
You're a real pleasure to watch. I wish you continued success, whichever way you decide to grow your channel. You always make things interesting, even if the subjects are not always what I'd be looking for. I love how you put things together. So, yeah, keep searching - it will come. Look into and read up on the power of manifesting, and practice it in your quiet times - it works like a charm. The universe listens and provides and answers your prayers - just keep it on the positive. You'll know what I mean when you read about it, that is, if you do. I promise you, it's worked for me. And sometimes it's beyond belief. The best of luck to you!
@04:10 You mum is amazing. 😊 I wonder if you'd thought about breaking up your desert Island video into two parts... you could end with a cliffhanger! It also might be easier to edit if you can do it in stages. Keep fighting on💪 . I really do like the mixture of fitness and mental challenges on your channel 😊
Great update Laura, nice to see you are taking time to do what works for you and not getting sucked up in the TH-cam vortex. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we look forward to seeing your desert island adventures. 😀
I love your content! Thanks for sharing this update. I'm also a 1983 baby who recently moved back in with my mom. After selling our house, my wife and I jumped at this opportunity to move in with family and reset. Hopefully, this will give me a little bandwidth to work on my own new content creation project. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for all the lovely comments. You guys are so lovely!
I really look up to you, and some of your videos have inspired me to take on some challenges of my own that have had a positive impact in my life.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint. You’ll have ups and downs, good times and bad times, I’m so happy to see your progress, regardless of whether it was better the first year or not. Just don’t ever quit.
Laura i challenge u to get ambidextrous, could u?
@@gaussfriedrich1612 It's funny you say that, it;s been on my list for years!
I think this is a great idea.
You could start by going after the person who took your cash and ran away.
Great idea and enter it in shed of the year. Would love a channel that goes off and interviews the previous shed winners. Only just found this channel and its great.
Laura might just be the most authentic TH-camr out there. I sincerely hope this channel continues to grow. 100k isn't that far away 👀
Absolutely true
Totally agree ❤
It’s ok to be with your mother. I also live with my mom. She is 70 years old.
And I’m honored to be of assistance to her.
I so appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. It is great to hear that you are settling into the routine and building a foundation to grow the channel on! ❤
We love you Laura. Thank you so much for inviting us on this journey with you. It's so wonderful to see your spirit endure through it all.
Beautiful comment!❤ agree 💯
I've discovered your channel recently, I love the variety, your courage & honesty and the direction you're taking it in, great work!
It's great to have you here Christopher - thank you for following along 🙏🏼
...I love your courage, you are incredible! 🔥
You are kind, thank you Renée 🙏🏼
From this 56 yo - #GoYou! 🎉🎉
Keep doing what you love. Stay authentic; there will be an audience for whatever content you end up producing.
Hi Laura, can't believe it's been two years! I don't even remember how I run into you, it wasn't the viral videos, but it shows how long it's been :)
Thank you for your honesty and perseverence.
Therapies … inner self … silent retreats, that'll present some challenges for you! I wish you courage going forward.
Thank you for your lovely comment 🙏🏼 You are very kind.
I feel the same....Well said. 🌻
So many things to tell about everything in this video, actually
- the growth during the first year was evidently the process of attracting the target auditory, while the decrease in the growth rate clearly shows that the channel has reached its niche and holding quite stable - even taking into consideration the fact that no videos were uploaded for 5 months or so
- the approach of "doing viral videos - implementing my personal ideas" is just like walking in the dark with other people around, when you partially listen to what others say, but simultaneously and carefully touching the objects around you to find the one you need/
it may be just a matter of balance between the two types of activities, there is no need for radical decisions. In other words, it is sometimes useful to follow the routes discovered and examined by others, and sometimes its good to discover the routes by yourself
- if you choose this lifestyle as your job, it has to be followed by a certain attitude (not always the objective of the job is pleasant and desirable, but you need to do it)
- anyways, still wishing you luck and patience, stay true, stay strong
Hi Jont,
well, I must say, what an incredible comment.
Cheers
I prefer your recent style of videos to the gimmicky ones. I love the way you stay true to who you are ❤
Really honest and likeable chat Laura.
I had your channel recommended to me through the algorithm about a month ago. I really find your content so motivating and you r incredibly likeable. I’m also interested in the content you have coming up for us. Take my super thanks and keep up the great work!
Wow Katie! Thank you so much for your lovey comment and the Super Thanks! It is very much appreciated 🙏
lets gooo - so inpsiring!!
you’re authentic… I loved watching you
Keep up the good work. If it was easy then everyone would be at it. You managed to persuade me to do a 7 day fast.
Thank you for sharing your TH-cam journey. I very much appreciate your transparency. :)
I am impressed with your honesty. Life is filled with ups and downs. Being self employed is tough. I am also impressed you can live with your mother! 😆
I’m here for the long haul Laura !❤
Thank you Deanna 🙏🏼
Great update Laura, enjoy following from QLD Australia ❤
you do you and your community will come. Patience is key I guess 🥰 Also, I came to your channel because of vivo barefoot videos but I stayed because of you 🙂 I think you are a fresh breeze in this youtube jungle!
Thank you for your kind words Lisa 🙏🏼
You've got quite an interesting channel!
cheers Sergio 🙏🏼
You are so so genuine! Make a few money spinners every year.
I am so here for your journey, I really enjoy your videos xxx
I'm pleased you like the videos Sarah, thanks for following along 🙏🏼
You are so sweet and I agree, someone said authentic. Great word to describe you. Your Mum did a fantastic job bringing you up. Keep going!
Go Laura. True and honest I respect you and all that you do. Plus you are funny 😊
Love the honesty Laura. Pls don’t get an editor. Your videos are so authentic & simply edited & you seem so sincere, it’s why I watch ❤
I love your microadventure videos (just watched the capital ring walk video) and look forward to your island video😅
I'd like do another microadventure soon! Thanks for the nudge.
You put a (cheerful) smile on my face.
I love both your old and your new videos. You are so authentic and honest. Greetings from Germany
I like you spirit and determination. Please don’t give up. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
I like your suggestions rand. I do have some ideas that would fit into that category so it was lovely to see your suggestions, thank you!
Open, honest and authentic… lovely :)
Oh Laura, thank you for this update. I come here for your honesty and your kindness. Keep up the great work.
I have LOVED all the skills share and newer style videos. It’s what has kept me searching back for your videos. Thanks Laura!
In fact - I have done SO MUCH GREAT stuff because you inspired me in your videos… 🫶🏼
This is a brilliant video, thanks for sharing everything Laura.
In case it helps... If you're still looking for a video editor, I know loads of professional TV video editors who are looking to get some side money from working with TH-cam(rs) but don't know where to start(!)
I could listen to you all day!
Keep doing what you are doing. Always great to watch, open and honest. Here's to another year. Best of luck.
You are amazing. I admire anyone who puts their passion out there. Well done!!
Than you Chris 🙏🏼
You hare awesome. I can't remember how I found you but am glad I did. Keep up doing your awesome channel!
🐰🐇
I Hope you get your money back for the cabin!
Love your authenticity, it’s Refreshing in this world . Love that u choose content alignment over ‘gimmicky’- clickbait views
I love all your videos. I can't do a lot of fitness so I really enjoy when you try to learn & experience all sorts of things. Wishing you the best. Your personality is what keeps me coming back.
Happy Anniversary Laura! Looking forward to seeing the 3rd year update 😀
I always click a Laura Try video when I see it, immediately. Until recently they werent put into my youtube feed.
stay cheerful
always 🌟
Thanks Laura! Keep going!
Much continued success.
what you say is absolutely perfect, you are interpreting our thoughts. you are amazing
A great honest look at the ups and downs of making a living on here. Thanks Laura and good luck for year 3 and beyond!
You are a person that seems to give a hug to us all, keep up with all the hard work. You provide a sincere approach and a real person- thank you! Keep up the good work.
Keep going Laura. You are really good. Love your videos. You make me laugh. 🎉
keep going LT!
Can't wait for the desert island video keep doing what you love.
You’re a truely genuine person. Thanks for sharing your life.
I find your content really refreshing in the TH-cam space and your videos are really honest and authentic. Keep going!
Laura you’re fantastic! Viral videos-
- anything tech related (fitness watches etc )
- I did Keto for one month!
- I ran a half marathon every day for a month
- 500 burpee a day
- training for a fitness comp
thanks for the video suggestions Matt, much appreciated, but I don't want to make that style of video.
Love your channel Laura. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. ❤️
@04:10 You mum is amazing. 😊
I wonder if you'd thought about breaking up your desert Island video into two parts... you could end with a cliffhanger!
