Here he won’t say anything because those people vote for him. Very scary to have the quiet here. People were quiet before WW11 and then the worst came true!

As a therapist and keen follower of history and this issue in particular - one cannot overlook the human collective subconscious. Dr Wilf deserves credit for being able to admit the failure of her hypothesis. It's a bit funny, however, that the "hypothesis" was simply rejected, but no recognition of all those who have been telling us that there is a reality which is suggests a different, a commonsensical "hypothesis." Not just Bevin, but Israeli Jews who have lived in Muslim-majority countries and the opposite side of the aisle... the "Right." Anybody who knows what Arab Nationalists said and what Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of one of the founders of Hamas says about the fake "Palestinian" identity, should have figured it out. Really, when Arab Muslims have invaded, oppressed, enslaved, Arabized and Islamized millions of Non-Arabs, why would they not want to own 100% of the Arab-Jewish land? When they chant "Haibar, Haibar ya Yahud, Jaish Mohammad..." and say that Jews are not indigenous to the Middle East and that Jesus was "Palestinian," Arab Muslim and when tens of intellectuals from Muslim-majority countries have been warning the entire West about Migration, Cultural, Political and Sword Jihad...

The moral clarity and passion rooted in a serious commitment to understanding the world as it is, empirically and logically, is palpable in her words.
We must not forget that Nazi Germany was far from decrepit. It was a cultural and scientific behemoth, one of the most advanced societies in the world by most standards. A strong hatred of Jews and desire to eradicate them can take hold of rich and poor, educated and ignorant alike.

The speaker refers with approval to the universal principle of self determination but ignores the fact that in 1947/1948, the Arab population formed something like 64% of the population of the former mandatory Palestine. At the beginning of the 20th century, when European migration to what became mandatory Palestine started, the Arab majority was over 90%. In 1947/1948, why did the United Nations not implement a policy of democratic self-determination? It was from this failure that all the future tragedy stemmed.

    • @tatonemio6388
      @tatonemio6388 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The British Mandate on the Palestine was created to give to Arab and Jews proper separated states for their nationalistic aspirations.
That's how Jordan was created for the Arabs and Palestine was split between the two existing populations.
The Arabs rejected the plan to give the Jews any territory and by doing so they rejected (and still reject) the Jews right for self-determination.
You need to understand that the Jews can't be a minority in a state because this is the reason the Jewish people have been persecuted for centuries.
The Jews without a state and an army are destined to become the scapegoat of nazi/fascist/marxist/jihadist dictators.
you: "why did the United Nations not implement a policy of democratic self-determination?"
Because as a minority in a majority Muslim country (even if somehow democratic) the Jews can't archive their own aspirations.
For instance , Israel allow unlimited immigration of Jews from around the world , this is only possible because Israel is a Jewish state.
you: "It was from this failure that all the future tragedy stemmed."
Nope, the tragedy has been created by the radical Islamic ideology that deny to any non-muslim people the right for self-determination on the land they consider "Islamic".

In the normal course of life one day is succeeded by the next, and the previous day recedes into the past. October 7th is different, it is a defining moment. As I see it, as of that day the concept of a two-state solution is clearly a non-sequitur for peace. October 7th is burned into the present, it will not recede. The call for cease-fire is a call to the status of October 6th, which will always become October 7th... the Groundhog Day for Israel.

It took 20-30 yers of American occupation to “denazify” Germany but Hitler was only around from 1924-1945. The Arabs have seen Jews as Dhimmis for 1300 years. It is going to be a lot harder for the Israeli to change the Arabs ideology IF EVER.

I notice most comments focus on her mode of delivery and not the content. Since the IDF bombed the Gaza strip and seeing the plight of the Palestinians on the television (in the UK) I'm not in support of Israel and after years and years of 'respecting' the Jews, feel indifferent towards them. It appalled me to think of them gaily going about their daily lives in places like Tel Aviv whilst their 'enemy' lay crushed beneath rubble.

    • @seagaleat6201

"Gaily going about their daily lives?" Seriously?
Nothing shows more than this frase, how people know absolutely nothing about the Israelis.
The past year has been one of the worst for Israelis. The terrible massacre of oct 7 is something that will never be erased from memory, exactly like the terrible years of 140 (!) Suicide bombings within 3 years shall never be erased from the collective mind.
Your comment literally addresses not one thing in this lecture.
The plight of the Palestinians is and always has been, of their own doing. Their leaders always, always preferred choosing their own ego and so-called "Islamic peride" over and at the expense of their people's lives.

Personally, I’m still watching because I’m interested in the topics of propaganda, indoctrination, manipulation, cults etc. As a study from that perspective, this video is very informative.

      Beg to differ, Sandy!
The Jews around the world suffer!
This issue is so acute to Jews, people need to evaluate what is going on through discussions!
Jews don't riot, they don't stab, they don't attack musl8m secret places, they don't bomb in the name of their greatest...
How you choose to react to this conversation is up to what you are looking for. Propaganda for you, food for thought for another.

@@NeverAgain316 Are you aware that a huge proportion of Jews worldwide are opposed to the State of Israel? Research ‘Jewish Dissent’, you’ll discover that many Jewish intellectuals, academics, humanitarians, legal professionals, rabbis, and others are vehemently opposed to the state of Israel. Also did you know that many Israeli youth are ‘refuseniks’, refusing military service, and ex-IDF military speaking out against Israel’s Occupation? There is so much more to this issue than what pro-Israel people are willing to admit.

I’m already 26 minutes into her talk and understandably she’s looking at it from her perspective and she’s very good at explaining it. Fine, but but I wonder what she would say if the roles were reversed. Namely, that the Israeli’s were living in an open prison for decades and the Palestinians were keeping them there and the US gave the Palestinians all the weapons they wanted as they keep Israelis under control and under squalid dehumanized conditions. So what would Einat do under such insufferable conditions? Would she put up with it or fight by creating a covert rag tag army to defeat the Palestinians? No one deserves to be treated in dehumanizing ways and while Hamas’s attacks are downright evil, and not to justify their behavior, but it’s safe to say that what they did was a desperate attempts to fight decades of oppression by the Israeli government. What Hamas did was evil but so is being forced to live in an open prison by the Israeli government all the while western governments turn a blind eye, especially the United States. Rest assured, we are setting ourselves up for another 911. And I fear it’s going to be far worse.

      26-minutes of not listening.
She is talking about 1947 before Israel was established, before Gaza, no IDF, before settlements,..., all the reasons you mentioned did not exist.
The Arabs, later known as "Palestinians", did not agree for the Jewish people to have a state. They did not agree that Jewish people will have sovereignty. So that's the real reason for the conflict.
Now, about Gaza. Israel pulled out if Gaza in 2005. Not a single settlement or IDF soldier.
Gaza people, with the aid they got throughout the years ,billions of dollars, they could build Gaza like Singapore, with beach resorts (Gaza has a beautiful beach), restaurants, platter the streets in gold, you name it... and BTW Israel: we would love to assist them with development and co-operation.
      What did they do?
Buried all the cement in the underground, invested in buying weapons and making rockets, making Gaza the biggest terrorist-base in the world.

"From water to water, the land shall be Arab"
That is the exact original frase in Arabic of what is today known as "from river to river"
That frase encapsulates the motivation and the reason for all the bad decision making done by Palestinian Arabs, forever.
Always, the end goal was to turn back to the old days of glory - the Islamic Caliphate.
Jews are simply in the way.
