Erm... this looks like standard sim play, except, praying for dumb targets with few anti-sarh evasive actions of your own. If any of them had a mind of their own they probably could've easily evaded and escaped or backshot you with an R73, not even mentioning that you could've been unluckily going up against an MLD or something else with even more dangerous PD sarhs.
Nither targets had taken any preparation or proper evasion to SARH missiles(whetheror not the F4F could even detect the UK's specific band of radar I'm not sure), nor would your own evasive manuveered would've helped against anything except non-PD radar SARHs or IR missiles. If these targets were anything but those poorly matched aircraft, even at 11.3-10.0 you should still be taking precaution against return SARHs, MLD's have very dangerous SARHs and a radar band that even the F4S rwr cannot detect

No it's not standard, the F-4J(UK) has all kind of disadvantages. RWR doesn't work, AiM-9G is trash, the aircraft doesn't turn and it has the SKYFLASH. My enemies usually have ALL ASPECT R-60 which can pull 35 G, sometimes R-73s and sometimes AIM-9M. Their RWR works, they can turn and they have long range SAHR. My dirty tactic is called cranking. When you pull 10 G to the right and then to the left, they simply cannot hit me. And I shoot multiple missiles. Usually the second gets them. Sometimes the first.

@@catfightingpilots9318 Ye, the UK is pretty awful, and if RWR isn't working it's probably not even able to detect whichever radar bands you're going up against. funnily enough, MLD and F4S can't detect each others radar band so neither would know when a SARH was coming.
As for the Aim-9G I've seen that thing pull some insane pulls g's thanks to it's low speed on occasion, and from what I remember can still decently get a lock from side aspect. So long as it hasn't been nerfed that is. In regards to the R60M that thing was probably just as flare hungry as an R3S or aim-9b before the flare nerfs. It will still miss even a full after-burning, nonmanuveering target rear aspect if they pop a single flare, but I've noticed that every once in a while it would hit still if it was close enough despite flares.
And while I can see the cranking, it's generally reserved for radar missiles, not IR missiles, for example in a BVR fight. THe missiles having to vast distances, 25-60km roughly means the missile would have to use a huge amount of lead. When an aircraft cranks at the right times, it will force the missile to turn all the way back around to lead the aircraft. This can be done until the missile has depleted its energy and is now unable to reach the aircraft, or is unable to manuveer enough to hit the pilot evading.
However cranking does still work at semi-closer ranges sometimes, say if it's a bad SARH that doesn't have enough to hit a maneuvering aircraft, like most of the American SARHs before the 9F(I usually put everything before the F in the terrible and evadable categories with no PD), including the skyflash with their five second timer before they are even able to pull full maneuvering(unless it's the dogfight variant).
If you're dealing with close range IR missiles from a head on aspect, then with decent distance and time before impact you can just flare and pull off. At least so long as it isn't a missiles with any form of IRCCM. I've never seen cranking on an IR missiles since flares are usually enough to defeat it with little, and sometimes even no maneuvering. And even if it has particiually good flare resistance like the 9L typically I find they they're too close anyways to flare since they nerfed the flares warm up time to get to full heat.
Now granted I haven't played WT in weeks, nor have I played sim in longer, especially have the Mig-29 9-13 nerfs. And even further when I do play sim I usually just go straight to the highest BR, Su-27 and Su25sm3 with the occasional Mig-27K or Yak-141 for back up. So this could just be a newer thing the snail dropped on everyone after I stopped playing.
