I watched the trailer.. Dennis Quaid did an amazing job portraying him.. the voice, demeanor, everything. Actually looking forward to seeing a movie in the movie theatres, for once!

I was 15 when Reagan was shot. They let us out of school right after it happened. Three years later I voted for him for president. In 1988, I met him at a campaign stop while he was stumping for George H. W. Bush. Reagan was a great president. The 1986 Reagan Tax Cuts allowed my wife and I to buy our first house.

Hold up - they talked through the military honor guard presenting the flag and The National Anthem ???!!!... no acknowledgement? What happened here - a pause was the right thing to do as An American, they should have stood up and faced the screen while the National Anthem was sung. I enjoyed the talk but did not like the disrespect they displayed at this EXACT moment.

4:26 not to be nitpicky, (and idk what event was in the background ) but you can hear the national anthem being performed, and it’s kinda sad they didn’t stop to participate. Especially while talking about patriotism and playing the roll of a US president. Granted, they unfortunately stopped doing the pledge of allegiance at my local HS the year after I graduated, but still, I have this ingrained respect to stop what I’m doing, find the nearest flag, and put my hand over my heart whenever the pledge or national anthem is going on. I never even served, yet it still kinda irks me we’ve lost this respect.
Nonetheless, Dennis is amazing and I’m stoked to see this film, especially now. And Fox, keep up the great work! Love all your shows and cast, and I appreciate you keep me updated from all angles!
Reagan was the first person I had the opportunity to vote for at 18 years old. I remember the media bashing him as some 'B movie actor' although he was a two term governor of California. There was a presence about him that was different at the time than all the politicians I had seen come before him. To me, at that young age, he came across as a real person not a stiff politician.
Kind of disrespectful to keep on with the interview during the National Anthem... couldn't take a few minutes to just stand up and notice. I was disappointed in that... a whole lot.
I look forward to watching it, I loved Reagan! Dennis Quaid has been a favorite of mine since I was a teenager. ❤

I am a Gex Xer. I can honestly say we're the last generation to have lived the American Dream, when people worked hard, success was rewarded, we could have fun and humor and SNL was actually funny. Movies, television, music, we still had a soul. Millennials came into the scene and downward we went. The chasms between us and Millennials/Gen Z could not be greater. And Gen Z has brought the world into complete misery.

I love Dennis Quaid a lot more especially now that he’s going to play Ronald Reagan in a movie. He was great in frequency, the big easy, innerspace, the parent trap 1998 remake, switchback, the rookie 2002, etc.

You know that there is a sequel to Braveheart? One man (man....because a woman can only be given strength and value by the man who loves her) gave everything to his countrymen. I ask you look at the picture, Donald.....going from the stage....to the heavily fortified Suburban. He is George Washington crossing the Delaware.....the secret service was just rowing the boat across the river.
"Wilder Napalm"... under rated movie. How kids deal with trauma... home life, brother's fighting yet still care about each other, doing the right thing, ... use of power,.... etc. there is more to learn from movies than you think when you actually pay attention. RIP, Earnest P Worrel. Super good movie in my opinion... sequel where his kids get the power? maybe?
