It's basically a series of cheats for better performance in this latest Square Enix title. It's been awhile, but the Apex Engine brings the explosions and boom properly. I typically like these videos to be more of a streamlined view, but I kept having troubles with what I was coming across. There are cuts and such in here mostly for pacing, the helicopter segment may be boring despite having information so feel free to skip ahead. I don't really have the tech to measure performance, it's something I've been looking at seeing if I could do. Something I'd like to look at, load time i could do. It would be fun to do performance tests for games, just need to find tools to assist with it

keeping your wing suit open and spamming grapple while staying towards the ground is INSANE you literally fly forever
Wow m8 grapple, then parachute, THEN wingsuit.
I don’t feel that gives you a good attack stance in battle though. Parachute will give lift and combative height advantage
@@Skycaptin5 k, but it's still the quickest way to get around when you can't grapple onto something.

So far I kind of regret buying it due to the structure of the game, I mean the performance has been amazing but the core structure of this game is a huge let down, just cause 2 was amazing because you have 87 bases to liberate but this one you can't really liberate bases and it's only done by taking over the area via front line which is shit in my opinion
Fair enough, I like the style of approach for moving up, was hoping for more complexity there and I can see your issue with it. Haven't made up my mind yet score wise, though I still find this fun.
100% agree with you TTT. Big letdown for me. Liberating and collectables was so much fun. I totally regret buying this.

This video helps a ton. very confused putting together grapple skills knowing what to use and what not to use.
I do grapple, parachute, wing suit and when I lose speed I switch to parachute and back to wing suit
Wingsuit is also very important for traversing
Picking this one for the first time. This game is 100% a different beast from JC3. I can't just go causing Chaos wherever I go without getting rekt. Stealing a fighter jet? You're going to have a bad time.
What I do for movement is I have a striker on my wing suit I boost and grapple
Once you use the grappler to launch yourself up in the air you can keep reverting from glide mode back to parachute mode and he could go as far as you want I went there across the map by switching from gliding to parachuting repeatedly nothing else needed
Yea, I’ve never played any of these games and managed to get just cause 4 free on PS4 and this was a bit difficult to get all the mechanics down. Glad you made this video for people like me big guy 😎🤙🤙
Just cause 2 will always be unbeatable, but this is fun. I hope they take a more classic approach to JC5 and make it like JC2 but with the wing suit and updated grapple mechanics.

I love just straight up fighting the enemy faction. If you start killing them for the hell of it, they'll bring you all sorts of good stuff. Steal ALL of the helicopters and hook anyone you can up to the drones.

I hadn't played or followed Just Cause except for wanting to try 4 somewhere in the last couple of years, but never got around to it. Saw it on sale last week with all DLC for $10, bought it. Because I know jack shit about the game I was stuck in trying to figure out how to open a hangar door. I thought, well, I guess I can run a vehicle through that fence line there I guess? I fired on a huge gas tank in passing only to watch it slide right into the hangar door. That was when I had my "ah ha, I think I understand a lot more now!". lol
You can get a momentum with just grappler hook and parachute
My tether just does its ability automatically
How do I fricking liberate areas
Complete events, gain troops and then take the region to liberate it
Follow the waypoint. Base liberation now functions as a mission. Base will remain hostile until you complete the bases mission
Chaos objects reward squads (eventualy)
I want to skip tutorial to fly planes (my favorite things are only planes) :(
can you hijack the helicopters like in the last game? I keep finding myself just hanging underneath them
you tap "Y" or equivalent when underneath them
You have to kill the machine gun troopers on the side of the Helicopter before it allows you to fly it !!
There is an alternate solution, grapple on, hold LT, hold forward, spam Y.

Soooo the Fast way to get around is the Fighter Jet. U can finde these at the airport.
Fastes way to mlve with the Charakter is:
Grapple (R1) Parachute up (x+Pull Stick Down)
Folowed by Wingsuit (Triangle) while using Glider and Wingsuit the Y Achsis is inverted!
Grapple on cars moving your way while wingsuiting to gain More speed. Dont forget to Pulli Down to go up.
If u are in a fight Szenario press x followed by O to quickly parachute and cancle your movement. Dont Forget to grapple Down to avoid Falldamage.
This is what i expected from this Video... This would have helped me getting into the game...

Buddy! Hoverboard conserves momentum really really well!
If you, say, grapple a JET, then activate hoverboard WHILE REELING IN, you get jet-speed!
Also hoverboard conserves momentum EVEN BETTER on water

Depends on what you mean, some have a line leading to a power box, are you talking about the main mission where you're dealing with the lightning producing ball? The lightning coils have small things to shoot at the base of them on either side if that's the case
@@Skycaptin5 it shoots seeking misses and then it shoots like a pulse of electric energy. I'm not that far in the game but I've seen a few. I tried to shoot them but they won't t stop. I'll look for the like e from them to a power source. Thanks for the reply. Good video too.

Ya, the wingsuit. Soar around in it, not a whole of wild features unless you were looking for extreme tactical gliding tips
@@Skycaptin5 you should have mentioned it in the beginning. After you open the parachute open you're supposed to open the wingsuit
You're not supposed, it's an option for movement. You don't really have to do anything in particular in this game as there are so many options. I find my travel method fastest and to be the most safe. I believe I show it in here though I might have cut that.
@@Skycaptin5 you can use the grapple with the winguit to go faster than your so called "fastest method"
My method has a good balance for speed and movement without the wingsuit, it is a faster method than just wingsuiting.

This game SUCKS compared to the old ones. The map is a complete mess, hard to understand and different controls from the last game which makes it harder, and you die more quickly so fuck this.
