I have a question actually. You’ve got the perk on that gives auspex to perfect parry. You’ve also got the auspex headshot ability. I noticed it didn’t ever seem to trigger via gunstrike when you got an auspex via a parry but in my experience it should. Did they patch it so a gunstrike doesn’t trigger it? How were you able to reserve the ability for the “proper” auspex? There are loads of times I timed that it should have gone off and killed instantly with a headshot and it didn’t.
Gun strikes are not considered ranged damage by the game. The same reason why parries are not considered melee damage. So the way the game is coded it is impossible for the "marked for death" perk to trigger that way. If you are using the grenade launcher the grenades are not able to headshot. It is simply impossible. With the Melta that can happen. It's harder to time your marked for death with the melta when a Zoanthrope shows up. You always, ALWAYS, keep the marked for death for the Zoanthropes. It's a waste on anything else. That is why I always say Grenade launcher for Tyranid operations and Melta for chaos.
@@BasSine_Studio I genuinely don't know. But as the current 4.1 patch it doesn't trigger it anymore. Certainly possible you are correct and I just cannot remember it anymore
the grenade launcher is so overpowered.. just as much as the melta gun. It's fun to play but when you're on a team with Tac with one of these, you dont get to plaz the game at all :| just kills everything in an instant, mindlessly, gets the execute and has all grenades back. I really hate this playstyle.
I can tell you don't really play this game on a high level. First Melta is stronger than the grenade launcher. The only reason why I recommend the GL is because Zoanthropes literally ruin every Tyranid operation. They are absolutely unbalanced and need a tweak. For chaos it's all Melta. You get your contested health back so fast you can out heal the rockets of a chaos terminator. Also the Tactical, Bulwark and Heavy are currently the meta. The heavy with the plasma incinerator does way more damage than the grenade launcher. One charged shot against a terminus threat level enemy takes around 30% of his health off when he is marked by auspex. That is significantly more than GL. Tactical is not the class with the highest damage in the game. He is second. The Bulwark is there for his team perk and healing banner. He isn't really supposed to get kills. If you and your team play your roles the correct way you can basically walk through lethal difficulty like it's a walk in the park. Even Reliquary.
You won´t find any better guide to the tactical class than this one. Period
Yeah I agree completely with all of this.

@ wow that has changed since patch 3.0 then, because I am certain that it used to trigger it! Am I imagining things??

@@requiemagent3014Exactly. When Zoan duo spawns with Lictor and swarm of lesser bugs nobody can complain there's a way to ged rid of them.
