Well to be honest my 619 (incl 21% VAT/BTW) Euro GTX960 came with a Voucher for the Witcher 3. That would be worth 60 Euro at that timein 2014
Don't even think of buying this , this performs worse than the 1050 2gb now plus 2gb vram is basically useless these days , would strongly recommend you to go with something more powerful , like the standard 1650 or the 1650 super depending upon your budget . Or you can buy a used 1060 6gb if you can get hold of a decent deal and if your psu is decent enough to power that .
For short term it is fine. You can get it second hand very cheap if you want, dont buy new. Get 1050 4GB or RX570-580 8GB for 1080p. Or just wait for new budget cards.
the i5 7400 is fine and you can use the 950 till you saved up enough cash for an RX 580 or GTX 1060 especially used man then you will have a decent pc just know some stutters MIGHT happen in the newest games but anygame from 2018 and earlier is gonna run at 40-50fps with the 950 and the RX 580 etc. will give you great numbers.

If you want to keep it...well...you can play games on the lowest settings and have over 60 FPS most of the time, but that's pretty subjective. I personally don't like the low-end category because I want visuals too, but a lot of people may be willing to sacrifice visuals for a smooth gameplay, and I respect that. If you want to upgrade, you have some options : -If you want to stay in 1080p Low, keep it. -If you want to go a bit further than that, you can try getting the 1650, although its price is not the best. This is your best option if you're going for efficiency in terms of power (laptops). -If you want to go 1080p Ultra, the best option by far is either the 1660S or the 1660TI. However, that is a big jump. You may try getting the 1660 if it's not on a bad price, the 1650S if the 4GB VRAM won't bother you, the 5500XT if you're lucky enough to find them cheap, or even the 580/1060 if you find them for a nice price. The 1070 is a nice option too thanks to those 8GB VRAM. -If you want to go 1440p, either try out the 1660S/1660TI or go with a 2060. The AMD counterpart of this card? If you mostly play free to play games for example, most of those run pretty well on integrated gpu's. It really depends on type of games played. Personally, I wouldn't upgrade yet from this GTX 950. But I also wouldn't recommend to buy this gpu now. Just saying it's not bad if one already owns this gpu. Of course, you can go with a GTX 1650. Very good budget mid level card. I'm not cheap but I dont like wasting money especially when it's something that can wait. Or if I can wait for something newer and better to come out. There's no hurry to upgrade if games are still running very good like the examples in this video.

I got one from AliExpress from Shenzhen something and it works real good! I mostly only play gta v but it runs buttery smooth 60 fps on very high settings (p.s I have i3 6100 and 8gb ram)
The new consoles are coming out soon which means the demand on hardware will raise as most dev's work off the console architecture. The nvidia 950 was a better gpu than the playstation 4 which is why it has held up for so long but it won't be that great for new games. I would save for a AMD 4000 desktop cpu and the new generation of GPU's which will come out in 2021 if you can wait.
I got hold of a Quadro M2000, which is exactly the same as a GTX 950 but with 4GB of vram. Got me through the scalper pandemic and beyond. Still have it now.

GTX 950 it's good in 2020 but my GTX950 died in 2018 (i get my pc in 2016)
I got mine back in 2016. It's fans died though,but I applied a 120 mm fan with a ziptie on the heat sink. It still works pretty well.

У меня на максимплках на этой карте все летает и тянет
@@bigglock2909 Счастливый вы человек, а вот мне пришлось 1080 Ti покупать что бы все тянуло на максималках, и то не везде заветные 60 кадров
@@Garrik001 нет ну понятное дело нету 60 ФПС в ассасин Одиссей и истоки, но все части калл оф дюти минимум в 40 ФПС идут на максимальных где то и больше уже не вспомню,новый метро ексодус на высоких спокойно идёт без фризов и резких просадок, кс го от 150-450 ФПС на максимальных зависит от карты, я хотел взять рх590 но все раскупили гады

I got one from AliExpress from Shenzhen something and it works real good! I mostly only play gta v but it runs buttery smooth 60 fps on very high settings (p.s I have i3 6100 and 8gb ram)

U should save up for a rtx kind of computer
The new consoles are coming out soon which means the demand on hardware will raise as most dev's work off the console architecture. The nvidia 950 was a better gpu than the playstation 4 which is why it has held up for so long but it won't be that great for new games. I would save for a AMD 4000 desktop cpu and the new generation of GPU's which will come out in 2021 if you can wait.
