    I love that Garmin gives us so much control to literally do anything we want on these watches. Most people have no idea how powerful these devices actually are.

I thought I was pretty experienced at this point, but still learned lots of useful tips for customizing activities and data fields. And that bit about displaying the data fields on the watch while changing them in the app on your phone... Very handy!

    Great Video!! I went from several Apple watches to the Garmin. Epic pro 2 sapphire edition!! Almost 7 months! Learning something new all the time. Like around 9:27 in your video. Great info! Use the motocross, e-bike and overland a lot. Now can get info I want.. just wish you could start and stop sleep mode manually. Instead of time. Don’t really have sleep schedule. So when up past bed time you set. Have to keep turning off sleep mode so I can use the watch.

    I got the Fenix 7 Pro before a run I took with my company.
    One thing that i wished it had (not sure if i overlooked the feature): I typed in the course the day before. The watch therefore knew the distance. Would have been cool, if while running, there was an option that shows how much of the distance was either completed or remaining (10% left). As motivation.

Now TH-cam has decided to finally show me the Garmin Channel 😂 the algorithm at work. I wish I would have found this video earlier. I love the Tactix Delta that I've just bought in a Sale for a steep discount, brand new from a Jeweller . It's so great to finally cut the cord and enjoy a watch without the battery issues of an Apple Watch Ultra 2 (which I also bought recently). I'm amazed what even this 5 year old watch can do. Imagine what future Garmin watches will offer. Don't dump the OLED Display thou, it gives the user so much freedom.

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, in order to receive weather information through the weather widget:
      1) The fenix needs to be paired and connected to the phone through the Garmin Connect App.
      2) Your smartphone Bluetooth setting is turned on.
      3) Your smartphone Location Services are turned on.
      With that said, the Fenix 7 has a barometric altimeter - allowing you to monitor changes in weather by keeping tabs on the barometric pressure changes. The following link discusses the Barometer Settings as well as Calibrating the Barometer. I hope this helps.
