Thank you so much for this! Upgrading from my pretty basic Venu to thr Fenix 7s was a huge step for me and I felt like a fish out of water when I first played around with my new watch. I feel a lot more comfortable with it now and am not as much overwhelmed than I was before watching your video. Thank you!!

I’ve had my Fenix 7X Solar for 10 days now and I freaking love it! It’s perfect! It’s exactly what I need! If you’re wearing an Apple Watch that is a true smartwatch. This watch is like a Swiss Army knife. I’ve had 3 apple watches and at first very impressed but the biggest con IS THAT BATTERY LIFE! The fenix has an INCREDIBLE battery life! Even with the setting I have and notifications I get I have over 50% left and it’s been 10 days! The cons of the fenix are having to sync it twice a day. It’s not bad just a little annoying but it’s not like I’m not I’m on my phone. The other con is just figuring everything out but after a while it gets better. But glad I found this!!! There’s so much I didn’t know lol thank you!

Thanks so much. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this watch. I watched a lot of your videos and was on the fence for such a long time between Fenix 7, Epix 2, and Quatix 7. Ultimately, this video helped me make a final choice. The Quatix was on my list only for the coolness factor, and I think the Epix 2 is a step up but after further thought it seemed like a personal grooming choice between Eucerin and Nivea and I decided to go for the old-fashioned Nivea (i.e., the Fenix 7 X). Also, I wanted to ask please. what type of material your wedding band is made of it just looks so cool and I was thinking of getting one like it.

After like 1.5 years of struggling with the navigation of the Polar Grit X I just bought the Fenix 7. I loved the Polar because it felt minimalistic, but navigation was just too unreliable. My new Fenix 7 is now downloading the map of Europe. Can’t wait to use the maps on the trail! Planning on using this watch for at least five years.

Thanks! The default screen brightness isn't adjustable, however, the backlight is adjustable. So anytime I tap/press the backlight comes on, at a default setting of 20% (I left it as the default). So you can increase the backlight considerably, of course, that then also considerably hampers battery (it's the biggest battery killer), depending on how much backlight you use.

@@Dcrainmaker So how would the display adjust if the backlight was increased? (Sorry I am coming from the 910 xt) Would the numbers show brighter? My dilemma is trying to figure out what is more possible. Making the Fenix 7 brighter when needed, or trying to extend the battery life of the Epix say on a week long backpacking trip?

Wow! That is one heck of a review. I own the Quatix 7 which has most of the features of the Fenix 7 plus some boating options. This video is very helpful since there isn't a detailed features review on the Quatix 7. Thank you!

Excellent videos!!! Just purchased 7x this morning based on these and previous. Are you aware of a good land navigation video : practical exercises to learn use of the nav features? Thank you😊👍🇺🇸‼️‼️

This! The one subject that is most confusing when coming from an AW for the past 6 years.. Please, more guides on komoot - fenix integration and use!

i love how in the name of all things solar panel they opted to keep the damn garmin logo as big as possible to take a chunk out of it

I just got my FENIX 7X Solar Sapphire and I love it. I’m watching the video and love the ability to adjust the data fields from the connect app. That being said, my app doesn’t allow me to do it. I can’t find the area on the watch that starts at 35:42 on the video.
