my HITACHI ACs are hot and cold. it will be nice if you cover the HOT function too.On the remote the Hot function is denoted by the symbol a circle with a dot in the middle.

Split ACs can be reviewed only after long term use. My Hitachi 1.2 ton worked very well for 1 year and now not cooling. Technicians saw it multiple times but not able to resolve despite filling up gas and changing duct which costed 5k. Now they are advising to change PCB worth 19k. But they are not commiting that earlier PCB is not working.
Avoid Hitachi. It was good earlier but their inverter models suck. Also my AC produced very harsh sound. Horrible experience totally
