I randomly jumped into a framer. using a template. easy to navigate. but few areas im trying to modify but idk where to find/navigate modify the template. content helps. ty.
do you think it is easier to design your portfolio on figma then transfer to framer? I don't have the time to learn another website builder. Any advice?
Hm I’ve tried other platforms and if you’re doing UX, it def would be easier to use Figma to at least get a general sense of how you want to structure the layout of your site. If u do it in Figma it def doesn’t have to be pixel perfect but have a super general idea. Then use the prebuilt blocks in framer like I did. I would suggest at least doing a rough sketch on paper if you don’t do Figma before heading off to framer. Otherwise u can get pulled in a million directions imo!
Ahhh I'm finding this so difficult! I'm a graphic design student and I want to join university September 2025 but have no idea what I'm doing in UX design as I haven't studied it yet! I don't have long to create a portfolio, about a month maximum, my mentors landed it on us last minute. Does anyone know any UX bootcamps I could enrol in?
A month to create a UX portfolio? If you’re going to design school there’s a chance you could change majors while in college that’s what I did. For admissions I submitted a general art portfolio for Parsons, nothing related to UX. I took a UX bootcamp called Springboard during college after my sophomore year. It’s called Springboard. You could try it if you’d like and get $1000 off your tuition with my code “SharonKim”
@ hi sorry I worded that wrong. I meant that you went off the screen to fast so I wasn’t able to see how you showcased your final design images within that project that you were showcasing. It terms of how to lay out the final design

For the project you were showcasing, can you show end of the project
If it’s personal, of course. If it’s company project, ask your manager

You made this right when all the UX people at 4 year colleges have mid-terms due. Might have been coincidental but genius!
