The models are beautiful. The atmosphere of the set is wonderful too. Very different, I never know what to expect next from Chanel & it draws me back each time. I don't know if I'll ever afford anything from this luxury brand, but that's what makes it luxurious. I always wonder what Coco would think of her brand now. Brilliant work yet again

Such a great collection. This is definitely my favorite collection in a long time. Loving the Greek and somewhat Egyptian vibes. For some reason I also see a slight Tudor Era vibe with a few of the pieces. Beautiful.

Thumbs up! Prior collections seemed heavy and like Karl was just trying too hard. The coloring here is elegant and simple, the use of tweed feels more easy and dynamic. I love this

M encanto, siempre muy creativo carl se aprecia hasta en sus pasarelas con estilos temáticos de buen gusto.. Un ambiente bastante femenino incluso se percibe como empoderado a las mujeres o sugiere ello, hasta en los comerciales, q me encantan.. Toda la colección me pareció inspirado como en la cultura griega o de las costas del mediterráneo de los grandes tiempos históricos.

if they did this in greece it would have been the best chanel show up to date (as every chanel show always is) but showing this in paris seems odd. its undoubtedly a beautiful collection but the location seems off

Greece has lately refuse any kind of events from fashion industry, the most popular venue and the most accurate would be the partnenon, but pretty probably they might not accept. actually, Gucci tried it for their last collection as well.
***** fair enough, even though it's been used for a lot of photoshoots, I guess that the whole infrastructure a show requires (specially a Chanel one) might damage the monument.
yeah a venue the size of a chanel show might damage the ruins. but doing it at the grand palais looks artificial and gimmicky.

beautiful collection love the gold colour palette of the clothes and jewellery. And the contrasting sandals. though I think gold suits black models a lot. would have loved to see them too in between.

At the end I noticed that Karl blew a kiss at Anna Wintour. Later after he passed away I saw an interview where Anna said she was close friends with Karl. That was a genuine kiss he blew at her, not a fake one.
