I still use a 1987 year Bonanza forester co-ax press. It’s loaded tens of thousands of rounds over the years. I have bought and used many other presses over the years but I always go back to this co-ax press. Ive changed a few jaw springs and jaws but that’s it. Great content, thanks!! I payed $75 for it when I was 15.
@@Moraprecisionreloader I bought it at a gun store that had the press up high on a shelf. I remember asking the guy, how much for the press, he replied $75. I knew that was a steal even being 15 years old. I got a great deal on it. Thanks.
I'm just getting started and haven't purchased any equipment yet. But for the money, apparent quality and precision, I think the Forster products are a no brainer 🤙❤️💯
big mistake for beginner. don't ask me why as I will need to write an essay. buy a kit or used equipment to get started. shooting is a sport and reloading is a hobby, don't want a hobby don't reload ps: it's not cheaper than buying factory ammo
It’s a press…the function is more important than aesthetics. And it’s not $1700. I found it at Creedmoor sports and Brownells for $1095. Not a press I’d ever need, but the smaller co-ax is a great press.
Y’all are trippin. The finish is perfectly fine lol come on. No press comes with a plate that’s what got created a man for. A man builds his own base 😂😂 just giving you guys a hard time. Your nit picking a little much don’t ya think. Range Rover sells cars for 100’s of thousands of dollars don’t you think they could put an engine in it that’s worth a damn? We’re talking a press here. The finish is nice
My XL is still in the factory box along with the ZERO machine brand spankin new lol not sure when i will use but at least i have them for the dark days lol
the co-ax is an awesome design, but those at Forster have lost their minds with this one. I'm genuinely curious at how they arrived at their hilarious MSRP HAHA
I shoot 416 Barrett for ELR. If this press was available when I was buying my XL loading equipment I would have jumped on it. Looks much nicer than the Hornady I'm using. The ONLY place in the US you can get 50 BMG primers is from Dale at tenxaccuracy. He imports them from the UK and takes orders over the phone. I ordered 200 RUAG 50 BMG Primers in June for 90 cents each.

I been reloading since the early 80's I got a Hornady press but the co-ax was about $ 400 at that time must had a super good deal on that?

Nice review Gavin. Thks
They should incluse atleast 6 of the lockring adapters and a shorter handle for loading standard cartridges.
I really like the mounting plate and color. Should become a great Christmas present me thinx😊
Where can you get the light and will it fit smaller smaller coax press
1700 dollar for the press and they couldn't even put a proper finish on it.
Not just the finish that sucks.. they didnt even bother casting a frame for it. Looks like few scrap steel plates welded together
Missed that detail; running back and forth between the grill.

Mid south shooting supplies has 50 BMG primers at $1.25 apiece

Gavin, what you think about the new reloading press from SHort Action?
Whooaaa it’s a tank!
I'm guessing you made that table? If not, where can I get one?!?!
Gavin I would like you to make me a 375 Anebler, When are you going to start with the 375 Chytac.
Nice press. But I love my large Präzipress too much 😊
Well I found 500 cci bmg primers...damn didn't know it was 439 bucks for 500 PRIMERS! Ouch..they were in stock though
Is there on press primming
Will the shell holder work on 450 Nitro and 470 Nitro

What gives!?! The regular one, that doesn’t look too much smaller is under $400!
Put a ball on the handle. That or a Prazi?
plenty of match grade primers on tenex
Hay 416 barerrt reloding plis
There is absolutley no way im paying that much for a single stage. Thats insane, not to mention the finish and quality is sub par
nice review but not happy to swap jaws need more work on make easy
Is it possible to prime 50bmg on this press?
I'm impressed but so far in Australia I can't buy 1

Offer the .500" plate, there is no such thing as overkill when mounting a press!
Those primers are getting sent to Ukraine.
❤️🔥🇺🇸
This must be the ugliest press ever made. Looks like a bad prototype
