After watching your video where you talked about your favorite KitchenAid attachments, I saw this sheet cutter and I said I have to have that one! Thanks for the demonstration.
I absolutely LOVE this attachment... Finally I can make EASY zucchini sheets for low carb lasagna!(cores make cute stir fry wheels or shreds, too) I've also made fun and yummy Granny Smith apple /ham/Swiss roll ups with a touch of Mayo and mustard - then slightly warmed them in steamer to melt the cheese - so good and with the sheets being so thin the carbs are low which is a health need for us. The pieces of the attachment are a breeze to clean and store. I'm excited to try some of your roll up recipes... thank you!
@@ArtFromMyTable thank you for your kind comment... I just have to tell you I took my attachment over to our son and daughter-in-law's house for such a fun dinner together. She has a KA mixer and is very "fresh / clean" focused w food. (Along with some other restrictions) We made roll-ups /wraps with zucc, Granny Smith, and Gala apples. We each made several of our own with freshly baked and shredded chicken, options of bacon, various hummus and flavored cream cheese spreads, mustards, Swiss or cheddar cheese, etc. We put our individual 3-4 rolls onto a skewer and set them all in a baking dish. Warmed them in the oven about 10 - 15 min or so. We were amazed that none of them fell apart when we took them off the skewers to eat them, and they were absolutely delicious! (We had home made soup, too) I was so blessed to have such a successful meal that was fun and super easy to clean up. These days with all the gluten free, dairy free, vegan leaning, diabetic low carb individual needs in our family my ability to provide a family meal is no longer a skill I once had. Our culture is so used to eat out options, too ... remember when we would just ask, "What's for dinner?" We were thankful for most of what we sat down to find at the table. 😉 Thank you again for your inspiration 🤗
To be completely honest- I don't remember! I'm so sorry! My suggestion would be to try them and see what thickness you like. It doesn't really matter, it's really preference.
Yes, you should be able to use egg plant. You shouldn't need extra attachments as the sheet cutter has everything you need together. I hope that helps.
Glad it was helpful! Sorry about the music, nothing I can do to change it here, but in the future I can. We’re influencers are always trying to do what’s best for the user, and sometimes we make mistakes or learn as we go. Thank you for your patience.
I'm sorry to hear that! It's disappointing when you've invested something like that and it's not working like you thought. Let me know if I can help you troubleshoot anything.
@@skoootergurl67 such a bummer! If you have 'scraps' from it not working, you can always chop those up, or grate them, and freeze. They work well in soups, stews, and chilis. Are you making sure you use a short enough piece? I believe no longer than 4 inches is important, but I'd need to double check the size.

Love it! Great ideas. I truly enjoyed your video and I appreciate your peaceful personality. Looking forward to your future videos.
Thank you so much Sema!!!
Which blade did you use first the zucchini? Thick blade?

So fun! I just subscribed. Can’t wait to go through ur channel!🥰
Thank you so much!
Can eggplant be used with this sheet cutter? Do I need the extra attachments like the cucumber and zucchini?
Yes, you should be able to use egg plant. You shouldn't need extra attachments as the sheet cutter has everything you need together. I hope that helps.
@@ArtFromMyTable Thank you so much. I did try it with the eggplant and sadly it mangled the vegetable. I turned it into eggplant meatballs.
Great video and includes those little details that are nice to know. Music, however, is too loud & gets annoying.

Love cilantro 🥰
Me too!
can you do eggplant?
Yes!
I find my sheet cutter is hit or miss as to whether it works. Ive wasted several zucchini’s and cucumbers

I can't get mine too work either

@@ArtFromMyTable I was using a cucumber and the blade doesn't even do anything... It doesn't cut...I set it right..
@@skoootergurl67 So frustrating!! I would reach out to Kitchen Aid.
