When using your Snap On Scanner, did you notice in the Part 1 there were only 14 Modules and now there are 15, this is something that I ask techs on YT to be aware of, what is the proper number of modules to be viewed on each vehicle and trim model, not always will there be some codes to tell us when a module is totally dead and missing in action, this info is something we all need to keep in our private library of data. When you can vehicles with your different scanners, can you please point out the number of modules and scroll down the listing if it is that type of scanner such as AUTEL as there is a count on the left side of the screen PLS. Even nice scanners with TOPOLOGY will not tell us when a module is MIA, this a a CON of TOPOLOGY maps along with a couple other problems. Some Techs don't know they might need to turn off the key or remove the scanner sometimes. Thanks for the 2 part series case study.

Hello friend, my vehicle is Mercedes Sprinter Euro 5. Wipers, horn and lamp are not working. Error code U011100 INDICATES THIS. Sam's brain was tested but it didn't work. The fuse panel was also tested and it did not work either. There are no leaks in the installation. What is the reason of this?

@mutfaktaki_lezzet if the SAM module is not talking you should focus on it! I recommend you take it to a pro mechanic who can diagnose it for you!

Hey guys, I need your expertise. I've got 2016 3.0l OM 642 that leaking oil a lot from the Camshaft cover on the filler cap side. Does anyone know where I can get a gasket for it? In Canada, the only way is to replace the cylinder head . It's bit costly for a leak 😳

@danielgodin9579 if the leak is only around the oil fill cap then the gasket on the cap is defective, you have to replace the oil fill cap!

It's leaking profusly from behind the egr and throttle body even at idle right where the exhaust cam is. Almost nothing from the oil cap.
