    Tim another great video. Off topic how do you select a scandi line for the Maxcatch spey rods when they don't put a line recommendation on the rod? Is there a general rule of scandi grain weights for each rod size?

      The best thing I have found is Rio Spey line recommendations chart. If you get a general idea from that chart you can get a ballpark figure that will give you an idea. Frankly though there is no real good way to figure it out other than trial and error. Sadly. Thankfully Scandi is pretty forgiving so there is a wide window of lines that could work.

      Maxcatch don't provide any line chart for their spey rods,their customer officers don't know that at all,that's true. So the sad thing is that you bought their rods by low price, but you have to buy tons of new lines to try out their graim windows. Just have a try, good luck to you.
