I used to work with him in 2003. We talked a lot about literature. He would come with his research notes to work. Sad he writes in Ethiopian language. We will be able to read his books if translated into English. Love you Adamu. Look like you are too upbeat or unconcerned to old friends.
He is of his own kind, here, in Ethiopia. He set almost a new literary style and technique in the Amharic language. Hopefully, his books will be translated in the future.

እዉነት ለመናገር ያለኝ ልምድ በአንድ ግዜ የአንድ ደራሲን መፀሀፍ በብዛት ገዝቼ መፀሀፋንና ደራሲዉን አምብቤ ለመረዳት እሞክራለሁ። በተመሳሳይ የአዳምንም አምስት መፀሀፎች ገዝቼ አምስቱን አምብቤያለሁ። የገጠመኝ ግን ለመረዳት አስቸግሮኛል ይህን ስል ይዘቱን ሳይሆን ቅርፁ ላይ ከተለመደዉ የተየ ስለሆነ ይሁን ከእኔ የንባብ አለመብሰል እንጃ ትግስቴን ተፈታትኖታል። ይሁንና እራሴን ከአፃፃፋ ጋር ለመላመድ እየለፋዉ እገኛለዉ።ክብር ለደራሲያን።
ጥሩ ነው ለንባብ ያለህ ጥረት ይበል ያስኛል ።
የአዳም ልብወለድ ፅሁፎች ትእግስት እና የንባብ ልምድ ይጠይቃሉ በማንኛውም ሰዐት ከሃሳብ እና ግርግር ነፃ ሆነህ ማንበብ የምትችልበት ጊዜ አለ በጭቅጭቅ እና ጩከት መሀል ማንበብ እና መረዳት የምትችልበት ጊዜ አለ
ስለእዚህ በርትተህ አንብብ ብዙ ከማንበብ የአፃፃፍ ስልቱ እየገባህ ታሪኩ እየጣመኽ ይመጣል
ዋናው ልምድ ነው ልምድ አካብት እየቆየ ይጣፍጥሀል
